Has Your Phone Been Keeping You Too Busy For God? It's profoundly baffling how something that wasn't part of one's life while growing up, yet life seemed really normal as though nothing was lacking in those days, only for a few decades later, now seems indispensable, as though one wouldn't be able to survive or go a day without it. Such is the story of mobile or gsm phones and the influence it has gained in my own daily life, to the point i wondered if I would be able to cope without it for a day. Worst still, I got to realize that it had started negatively affecting my prayer life, as I began to lag behind in my daily prayers that I often had to be carrying it over to the next day. But this didn't seem much of a big deal until after my phone got spoilt beyond repair last year, when I couldn't afford a new one, that i had to go over a week for the first time since I could remember. It was during this period while I appeared to have much more time to spend with God with little or no distractions, that I was able to deeply reflect and observe how distracting and time consuming my phone had become, that even my prayer life and time I spent with God began to suffer as a result. I could also see the seeming warning signs that such was imminent but failed to heed, before it finally happened. That's how I became phoneless for not just a day, but more than a whole week, and although it was very unusual for me, the sky didn't fall down, neither did I die or suffocate as a result. Instead i was still very much alive and yet breathing. Moreover that turned into a huge blessing for my prayer and spiritual life, as the same time I seemed to lack now became more than enough for my daily prayers and time spent with God, to prove that I could survive even in this modern world without a mobile phone, but not without God. God bless.

It's not in doubt that the mobile phone has indeed been a tremendous blessing to me, as it affords me the opportunity to reach tens, if not hundreds of thousands of souls online every week with the Gospel of Jesus. It also helped me earlier this year with my 10-day dry-fast (my longest ever), as it was my from my phone I was playing the audio of the teachings of Jesus, and also songs that inspired me and kept me going to that point. However I have to be honest that it sometimes poses a huge distraction and a big time consumer, because just to check my social media handles, that how I would keep moving from one thing to another, until I realize that time has gone far. Hence why I have to be very careful and cautious, to ensure that it doesn't negatively affect the time I spend with God. Because mobile phones would come and go, but God is everlasting, and I need God in my life more than anything in this world. God bless. |

Yes,I don't have time for a imaginary God that doesn't exist. A fool says in his heart there's God, God, Satan Jesus Christ Angels and demons doesn't exist, there's no reliable concretable approvable evidence of their existence, Heaven and hellfire is just an imagination, it's not real, My people don't let anybody deceive you, open your eyes. |

To maintain deep focus, I have implemented a strict digital hygiene routine: I have disabled all notifications except for OPay. I dedicate only 30 minutes in the afternoon to WhatsApp and one hour in the evening for social media, while reserving TikTok exclusively for Saturdays. Additionally, I am committed to reading the entire Bible once a month, which requires me to complete 42 to 43 chapters daily alongside my other studies and prayers. Given these intensive demands on my time, I have zero tolerance for digital distractions. |

Funny how the burden is always on humans to find God. If God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and wants a relationship with everyone, shouldn't He be the one who's impossible to miss? |

Phone is causing more damage than good. Children and adults are now too enmeshed in their phones than ever. ONLY GOD CAN SAVE HUMANITY FROM THE DANGERS OF MOBILE PHONES. |

In this end time of Jehovah, people are still talking about Jehovah as their god? Na wa o. We have been telling you. For a decade now, Jehovah, Allah and all gods of religions have been encaged. Otem Erectus Chapter 226: 1 - 30 1. When Otem had shut his eyes in meditation on the fifth day of the seventh month, he began to fly in the inner universe. and he flew until he had seen Atum. and Atum said, come with me and I shall show you how we captured many of the gods who are my brothers. and otem saw a period in the past. 2. and he saw how the gods of findings were gathered in a place, getting ready for the psychospiritual battle. For thousands of us them were ready to fight for the freedom and mind slavery of the world. For it is time to bring humanity to the age which is called Aquarius. 3. and otem said, who shall you fight against? and Atum said, we are ready to fight against all the gods of religion who insist that the minds of humans should be continually enslaved. For religion shall limit the rate of growth of science. 4. Therefore, we are prepared to make all gods who love to enslave the minds of humanity drop their ambitions and set the world free from mind slavery. 5. Now otem said, let me go with you to see how this shall be done. Now Atum and otem flew until they had reached a place where many gods are gathered. and when they saw otem, they came to him and said, otem of truth, welcome. 6. and Olorun and Ogene and Chuku and many other gods of Aferk stepped further to otem and said, you have been empowered with the powers of all good gods and with their wisdom and understanding shall you operate. 7. You are greater than all gods in intelligence and knowledge. Now have we chosen you O otem, go and set Aferk free. Now Mother Earthus came also with Aluna and Ishtar and thousands of goddesses, both of Aferk and of the whole earth. and they said, blessed is otem, the god of all histories of humanity. 8. The gods hear his name and tremble. The people who torment others in the name of witches and wizards hear his name and flee. Yahweh, Allah, Moloch, Gaol, Eshu and all gods of bad religion and mind slavery hear his name and bow. 9. otem, fakir Atomos, go and quickly set Aferk free from gullibility before they are turned into animals in their minds. Go and free them from the hostages of Jehoshua, Yiga, Shamshin, Krisht, Bonkee, Wilhem and all manner of gods who make them slaves and deceive them on the face of the earth. 10. Who shall study the histories of otem and fear death? Whose mind shall be so strong to read the truth and still have joy reading the lies in the books of religion? Even Vishnu have said, let the truth of the words of otem prevail. 11. otem, the adopted son of all gods and goddesses of the earth, stay here until we have fought and won all the gods in a psychospiritual battle. You shall see how we shall defeat them. 12. Now otem stood and watched how the gods went farther away from him. and as they went farther, it seemed to him as if they were still standing before him, for distance was made into an illusion as if it no more existed. and it was as if a screen was showing the thing to otem. 13. and Otem saw how all gods of religion gather and say, we shall not let humanity and dwellers of the earth have rest of mind. and Allah said, I cannot let go my impact upon the earth. 14. Now many homos who died religious had been made the same with the gods. and they had almost equal powers with the gods. and they said also, the religion which we practise on earth must not be defeated. 15. Now Yahweh said, what shall my great name become in the mouths of the people of the earth if i agree that religion should be made of none effect in their minds? Shall they not curse my name forever? 16. and Eubius said, what shall happen to the history of Krishtanite which I have written? I shall rather protect it, or else I shall be found the greatest liar in history. and Mirza and Moloch and Eshu and many other gods said, the fun of the earth shall be lost when they do not call upon our names anymore. 17. and their continual weeping to the gods, being fun to us, shall be a thing of the past. No, we shall not allow this. Now while they spoke, the gods who wanted science and development in the world came and said, are you ready for the battle? and they said, we are ready. 18. and the battle began. 19. and Otem heard voices and saw many gods how they did all manner of inexplicable things. and there were vacuums, but only otem and the gods of findings saw the vacuums. 20. and when the gods of religion had entered into the vacuums, they were not seen anymore. 21. and Otem awoke. and his pupils had broken the door of his house when he did not appear in the school that day. and they had done many things to revive him. 22. and otem said, I saw all the things which you do to my body to rescue me. Why do you sit on my chest and blew my nose? Why do you disturb my sweet sleep? For the words which are made flesh are currently being conquered. 23. And henceforth, all sacred texts shall be seen as the things useful for refuse dump. and they shall lose the powers behind them, because all gods who insist on continual deception of the world through their threatening and motivational books are currently being held captive in vacuums. 24. Now for a space of three months, otem continually saw how the gods stepped into vacuums and were not seen anymore. 25. Now when eighty-nine days was complete, the gods of findings began to carry the vacuums in their hands, dumping them into a larger vacuum. For the vacuums began to become visible when they had carried them. and they dumped more than two hundred and fifty nine thousand vacuums into a larger one. 26. and they said, Otem of truth, we have overcome the gods by vacuums, so go and make known all the things which you have seen. For we imagined the vacuums with our thoughts for the capture of the gods who are antihumans. 27. and in the vacuums shall they be for a thousand years. This is the spiritual cage of all gods who oppose development. and focus shall be shifted from the words in the books to the thoughts of the heads. 28. And a period shall come when the pastors and the priests of many religions shall begin to misbehave. For their gods are encaged. and the minds of many homos shall begin to go after the truth within themselves rather than the lies written in the books of lies. 29. Now Otem, we have done our own part, therefore go and do your part also. Be not lazy in the compilation and interpretation of the texts of histories which we have given to you. 30. and we shall breathe life into the history which you shall write and it shall live on in the minds of the people, rather than religious texts. and humanity shall begin to use their own brains, worshipping no god while they do good to themselves.

My smartphone is more of a blessing. I'm a curious human, so I stay online researching, scheming, planning, manipulating, programming and scheduling activities so that my friends and I can stay off crime and help others in the society. I sleep late at night and wake up early. I know this is not good for my health, but nevertheless I must continue to play my part in making sure the society is educated physically, financially emotionally and otherwise. |

IF ACTUALLY CHRISTIANITY WAS GOLD THE COLONIALIST WOULDN'T HAVE FORCE IT ON AFRICA TODAY WE ARE BEGGING THEM TO SHOW US HOW TO TECHNOLOGICALLY PRODUCE SOME THINGS BUT THEY REFUSED BUT FORCE THE SO CALL GOD ON US BEFORE SLAVE TRADE BEGAN *Portuguese and Spanish coastal enclaves, 15th-17th c.* - In Angola, São Tomé, and parts of West/Central Africa, Portuguese missionaries worked with local rulers who converted for trade and military alliances. - In some cases, colonial administrators tied access to trade, education, and jobs to baptism. Refusal could mean exclusion from those systems. *Belgian Congo, late 19th-early 20th c.* - Missionaries operated under King Leopold II’s administration. The state supported Catholic and Protestant missions as part of its “civilizing mission.” - Historical records show pressure on communities to send children to mission schools, where conversion was a condition for literacy and basic services. *British, French, German colonies, late 19th-20th c.* - Direct forced baptism was rare in British and French territories. - Indirect pressure was common: colonial law, courts, and schools often favored Christians. Chiefs who converted often gained colonial backing. Traditional religious practices were sometimes banned under colonial ordinances, e.g., outlawing certain ceremonies as “public nuisance” or “fetish practices.” 3. *Mechanisms of forced or coerced adoption* Where it happened, it usually worked through: - *Political pressure*: Rulers converted to gain alliance with colonial powers, then their subjects followed. - *Legal and administrative bias*: Colonial law favored Christian marriage, inheritance, and court testimony. - *Economic and educational access*: Missions ran most schools and hospitals. Attendance often required baptism or at least renouncing traditional practices. - *Military force*: In rare cases during conquest campaigns, colonial forces destroyed shrines and compelled conversion as part of pacification. AFTER THE RELIGIOUS CONVERSION THEN CAME THE SLAVERY AND THE SLAVES TRADING

Kimo21:Interesting. So the all-powerful, all-knowing Creator of the universe wants a relationship with everyone... but His communication strategy is still, "Try harder to find Me." If God truly reached out first and wants everyone saved, why is sincere confusion so common? "Seek harder" sounds less like an answer and more like customer support telling you to restart your laptop |

Vifx:I get what you’re saying because I’ve been there before…there’s a reason why Jesus spoke in parables a lot…it’s not because he was trying to play hard to get…it’s because in the kingdom of God not every truth will be easy for everyone to accept….thats why even nicodemus went to Jesus at night and Jesus broke things down for him..and even his disciples after attending to the crowd because guess what crowds where following him simply because he multiplied bread and they could eat…and the minute he said “ i am the bread of life come down from heaven” the crowd deserted him. Now if someone where only following you around or messaging you only to meet his needs and not develop a friendship with you will you commit yourself to that person? |
| Re: Has Your Phone Been Keeping You Too Busy For God? by Vifx: 12:01pm On Jul 05 |
Kimo21:But that's still assuming the conclusion. You're explaining why people who already believed Jesus was from God reacted the way they did. The question is earlier than that: why would a God who wants a relationship with everyone make His existence and message so open to interpretation that billions of sincere people reach different conclusions, and being misled by different doctrines, different denominatn, all types of "prophets" claiming their own interpretation is the right one? 🤷🏽 A relationship requires both parties to know the other exists. If God's priority is friendship, hiding behind ambiguity and parables seems like an odd thing to do abi you don't want them to accept the message |

Vifx:Are there false prophets who try to twist Gods word? The answer is yes…but again God doesn’t hide. And well it’s the Glory of God to conceal a matter and honour of kings to search it out as the Bible said…now not to sound demeaning…but I have a Bible and I believe you too have…I have more understanding of the word of God because I submitted to it…it doesn’t mean I’m better than you…but I’ve learnt how to apply the same Bible that we all have access to to my life and know God better and who I am in Christ. Hope this helps to some extent |

Kimo21:It doesn't really address my point does it? Saying "God doesn't hide" while also quoting a verse that says "it's the glory of God to conceal a matter" is a bit contradictory. ![]() And saying you understand the Bible because you've submitted to it isn't evidence that it's true either. Every religion has devoted followers who say the same thing about their scriptures Heck Muslims do say the same thing about the Quran. The question isn't whether commitment produces conviction cos yes it often does. My question is why an all-loving God would make knowledge of Himself depend on interpreting an ancient collection of texts so that equally sincere people arrive at incompatible conclusions leading to all kinds of confusion and false prophets like yu acknowledgedIf God truly wants everyone to know Him, why is honest disagreement the norm rather than the exception? |

Vifx:Bro I only quoted you because I wanted to share an experience with you. Everybody has the spirit of God inside of them, God lives in the heart of men not in a building or edifice. Let me tell you my own profound experience. I used to work in a big pharmaceutical company, I was in a better position earning good and living large. I don't have time for church or the things of God, not that i don't believe that there is God but my curiosity of not wanting to have any relationship with Him took the better side of me. I used to gamble, drink and hang around with smokers and flirters. In 2023, I lost everything to ground zero, nobody actually told me to seek the face of God, I did on my own. I met alot of fake pastors, fake prophets and prophetess but i still held on to seeking the face of God. I went to anywhere there is church camps, mountain, many church programmes, crusade and revival just to seek His face. Something mysterious start happening to me, I started getting visions of things to come or happen mostly in my dreams (not exaggerating, 💯 % fact). I currently work in a college, I have colleagues that i have said one or two things to and it came to pass, I even told one that I saw him that he fell down and did not stand up that he should be careful, 2 days later he was sacked, so I kind of know my little gift now even though then I was praying for mercy, blessing and a good job but God was spiritualizing my life. The things that God have for us is much more than what we can actually think or imagine of, the only problem is that men that seek power will always want to change the narratives; even in the animal kingdom there is always an authority. See bro, the world has been in existence way before man was created, so there some secret things you just have to flow in the spiritual before it can sometimes manifest; our spirit are very active. The greatest religion in life, is being charitable and generous to the less privileged, widows/widowers and also keep yourself unspotted from the world; read James 1 vs 25:27. The meaning of freewill in the beginning was that God wanted man to trust Him even though you have your own FREEWILL. Even if you don't believe in a CREATOR, just know that this world is govern by law and principles. Like the proverbial saying "whatever you sow you reap". When you get some things easily, you will never know the worth just until you loose them. Shalom. |
