All the big strikers are scoring.

Osimhen should have taken us to quarter finals at least,
I blame them for not taken all the games very seriously

Dont mind those people. You think I care?? A PK to allow Neymar register something at the WC. Na Brazil beat Brazil today. No be Haaland beat Brazil... na Brazil beat Brazil. All those chances. 2 PKs given, u swallow one thay early in the game. Brazil thank you for disapppointing again.

Congrats to Haaland and his Vikings.
Apart from sparks from vini in the previous games Brazil has been poor in this World Cup never looked like a serious contender

He has two more chances to make up for Qatar and this one by qualifying us to 2030 and 2034, at least if my math is correct...he will be 35 in 2034 and should still be in peak form if he stays disciplined and injury free.

Haaland is still sinking in the feeling of winning and scoring brace in World Cup knockouts 😭

Like France 1998, like USCAMEX 2026.

Brazil 1-2 Norway.

Same Script plays out 28 yrs apart.

Fact: Brazil has never beaten Norway in Senior international football across 5 games now.

Brazil scammed me sha, but then a part of me wasn't sold on them despite their win over Japan...Norway was just the exact type of team Brazil would have prayed to avoid cause they are physical, plucky, direct and have HAALAND.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 9JAMac10: 11:18pm On Jul 05
The blame isn't on Ancelotti, a frustrating cycle and many losses during it ... My humble opinion, putting the responsibility for winning the game on Endrick, Danilo among others is madness ... On to the next cycle because pointing fingers now is easy...asking for a coaching change

I literally had them as Darkhorses despite being a fan. Putting a 5 times WC winner nation as Darkhorse tells you the story. I never saw them as contenders/favorites.

Is it my eyes or #7 means their FIFA rank in 1998?

See me here thinking these people have always been minnows o

Since beating Germany 2-0 in the 2002 WC final, Brazil have now lost all seven of their FIFA World Cup knockout stage games against UEFA nations....

How many Nigeria players you know that performs at his best at the age of 35,not even the great Kanu.
Osimhen wey enjoyment dey sweet like dis no fit keep up at that age.
We just need him to win us,AFCON.

Ofcos they were really strong then. Also, they had Andre Flo back then naa. You think Haaland is the first Great Norwegian Striker? Lol... Flo was top class back then at Chelsea.

The Osimhen I knew would have continued that match with injury or not if he hadn't gotten himself angry, and with him on the pitch, we would have gotten away with that match.

That one na real Seriki with him bling bling lmao, of course he has his delusional praise singers and yes-men on X that he gives money so you dare not say the truth about Osimhen. I can't question his loyalty to Nigeria cause he gives his best and it will be unfair of me to say he doesn't try...but time and time again when it came to the BIG MOMENTS where true world class players have always risen to the occasion, Osimhen has always gone into hiding...if he's not faking an early injury, he's whining, thrashing and rolling on the pitch like a crybaby while blaming his own teammates.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Emenike, Obafemi, Ike Uche, Osaze and even Yakubu gave us more in key moments than Osimhen ever has.

Brazil's Bogeyman team strikes again: Vikings still unbeaten against the Samba Boys

Even the Ronaldo De Lima, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Denilson, Romario, Bebeto Eras could not beat Norway. Haaaaa... I should have known. 😂😂

In 5 meetings:

- 1988 friendly: Norway 1-1 Brazil

- 1997 friendly: Norway 4-2 Brazil

- 1998 World Cup: Brazil 1-2 Norway

- 2006 friendly: Norway 1-1 Brazil

- Today (2026 WC R16): Brazil 1-2 Norway

Norway remains unbeaten against the Seleção.

That one sef dey, I doubt the core of our mainstay players (Osimhen, Ndidi, Lookman, and Aina) will still be in peak form by 2030 sef, only Iwobi looks like he has 5-6 years of peak football to still give cause he barely get injured and seems disciplined. I hope they put their hearts and soul into this next 2 AFCONs coming up in 2027 and 2028 and win one to make up for their generational disappointments.

Brazil needs to get away from these European influences in their game and go back to what brought them success. Seeing Holland and Brazil playing this defensive brand of football this tournament really frustrated the living hell out of me.

Holland and Brazil really introduced me to soccer with their brand of football in USA '94 and France '98. I always have a soft spot for both countries, and outside of Nigeria are always the teams I supported. We saw Holland play against their DNA versus Morocco, and they are home. Brazil played against their DNA today, and they are on their way home.

I was watching the game with my dad, and my dad was saying the Brazilian team of yesteryear would be shocked at what they are watching. My dad became a lover of football watching the 1970 Brazilian World Cup-winning team. Brazil is never and can never be a counterattacking team. It is not in their DNA. Get rid of all this European influence and go back to what made the world love the Brazilian national team. Norway dominating Brazil is an unforgiven sin against soccer and shall never be forgiven.

Carlo Ancelotti, you have committed an unforgivable sin against the lovers of Joga Bonito football associated with the Brazilian national team. Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil is not Italy; they are completely different people that thrive playing the game completely differently from each other, and trying to impose the Italian philosophy on Brazilian football is a crime against the lovers of the beautiful game.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
It is like the period they experienced between Post-1970 and Pre-1994. Even their 1982 side were super talented but still fell short. Zico, Socrates, Falcao and co.

That period gap of Brazillian football between 1971 and 1992 is what they are experiencing now since Post-2002. When it would end to usher in another Brazillian Golden era is still not known.

I hope you know that as sportmen, life and what they eat matters alot in their careers? Top and serious footballers works on strict diets, that's why you would see majority of them not always getting injured unlike Osimhen.
Just recently he was at Onyekuru house with others eating junks, and he was happily doing it.
