All of us na same WhatsApp group when it comes to result like this, we are all certified bottling company countries we no sabi abeg.
Even Morocco wey all of us dey hype, dey should better give themselves brain against France ooo, cos so like this France play them like werey
Nigeria no go bottle 2-0 in world cup, that one na lie.

It’s not in our mentality at all

They can score us, and we equalize, they score again, but to bottle two goal at 80 minutes, even Argentina no reach, insult Nigerian all you want, e no go happen.

Like I said baba..let's look at it This way
"Salah gets a ball in same manner from Argentina defense with score 2-2 and initiate a counter that leads to a goal.....brooooooooooooooo VAR will 100% call for a check and ref will 100% award a penalty....mk una no dey talk asif una no no oyinbo, not when Messi is now in that same team😂🤣
You win sir.

Na Morocco sabi this thing.

Playing defensively you should maintain your shape and use any opportunity available to take the ball up and frustrate your opponent.

Not to sit back and *losing the ball every second giving your opponent multiple chances to score*.
This is exactly where they lost the match.

A team that struggles to string 4 passes together and hold possession doesn't deserve to make the quarter finals.. And this is one of the reasons I love our current team.

If FIFA had not made done something about the faking injury time-wasting tactic, Egypt wold have easily won this game
Argetina would have been frustrated so much that it would have turned to physical altercation

May not have been

Probably because Salah lost the ball before the foul. Had he held the ball it would’ve been called.
I am.with you on this, I don't think there was a foul on Salah. VAR called the ref to look at the disallowed Egyptian goal (which I strongly dispute), however, the referee just doesn't decide to look at VAR except he is called to do so. VAR didn't call him, so why should he look at it? In my opinion, I really don't think there was a pen for Salah there. The loss pain me though.
I am hoping Colombia gets to the QF and face Argentina, make we see who get werey pass between both of them.

Messi played football with abundant of grace, even at this age,his whole country still depend on him to turn things around .

When Messi finally retires,Argentina will just be as ordinary as Brazil, any serious country can just win them.

Another Great Argentina escape. Another 3-2 slim survival scoreline. The Pharoahs came close but ultimately fell and got Mummified. Messi and his reigning World Champions march on, albeit squeezingly, into the quarterfinals and awaits the winner of Switzerland v Colombia

🔰Now, 7 out of my 12 Favorites/Darkhorses/Outside force selections are still in. 5 are OUT.
4 of the 5 OUT got booted out by 4 of the 7 still in the competition.

And, 3 more will inevitably fall in the quarter finals coz 6 of the 7 left so far meet one another_* in that next K.O. round (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿v🇸🇯, 🇫🇷v🇲🇦 & 🇪🇦v🇧🇪). Argentina meets another not in this selection.

Round of 16 action ends with Switzerland/Colombia of which neither are in my selections....

🟣Next-up in this selection:
🟢 France (Top 5 Fav) vs Morocco (Outside Force) on July 9th (Quarter finals).

Top 5 Favs in no order:
- Spain✅️✅️*(Quarter finals)*
- France✅️✅️*(Quarter finals)*
- Portugal✅️❌️⭕️
- Argentina✅️✅️*(Quarter finals)*
- England✅️✅️*(Quarter finals)*

Solid Dark horses:
- Brazil❌️❌️⭕️
- Germany❌️❌️
- Netherlands❌️❌️
- Belgium✅✅️*(Quarter finals)*
- Croatia (coz of their last 2 WCs)❌️❌️
- Norway✅️✅️*(Quarter finals)*

Outside Force:
- Morocco✅️✅️*(Quaterfinals)*

💯

TheSuperNerd:
Overturning Balogun's Red card could neither save the U.S nor stop the Belgian rampage.🔥The Red Devils of Belgium really came out strong and annihilated the last co-host still in the competiton, U.S.A, by a commanding 4-1 scoreline. It is the 2nd time in one year that the U.S. suffers a whitewash at the hands of the devils

African teams need to learn possessive football (holding and at least having a say in the tempo) because it prevents your opponent from attacking anyhow

We will never throw away a lead like that; we go drag am reach penalties. One strength we have is the ability to slow the game down; it's when we are just leading by a goal that we can crumble

If the Super Eagles are going to lose a game, the signs will be there throughout the game; either we can't score, or we concede and can't level up
