When i withdrew from stanbic, i withdrew to the last kobo.
There is an option to withdraw all funds, i think it is on the web version.
emmaBS:
Did you wait till the following day to initiate another withdrawal? Daily withdrawal limit is 5M.
And you also need to keep some change in there to keep the account active. Either 2k or 5k. I'm not sure about the exact amount.

Re: Mutual Funds by investmentvirus(f): 6:58pm On Jul 09
u cannot move directly from equity to MMF.

U HAVE TO WITHDRAW 1st.

Sweetmia37:
Please guys, I need your help.
On 1st July, 2026, I initiated a transfer of ₦946,084.15 from my Equity Income Fund to my Money Market Fund. My Equity Income Fund has since been debited, and I also received an email confirming that the redemption was successful.

However, as of today, the transferred amount has not been credited to my Money Market Fund balance.
I have called their customer service line several times but no response. I sent several mails yet no reply.

I don’t know what to do next.

Do the calculation yourself and see if It's average rate for the month.

It's possible the rate is for that last day only, to make it look attractive.

Even without removing WHT tax from Customers funds, I doubt if many of us on Mutual funds thread ( also doing Fixed deposits)will be too excited about the rates here. However, it may be okay if you have soooo much funds to DIVERSIFY with.

Coupons for FGN Savings Bond that is now taking our govt days/weeks to pay investors.. FGN Savings Bond has lost its usefulness to invesors and the economy.

I have an account with 3 of these fund managers, these rates doesn't always tally with what you are paid daily, sometimes you even get about 2% to 3% less... That's just the fact.

Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m):
A Short Note for Investors

Financial confidence isn't built overnight. It's built through consistency, informed decisions, and regular reviews of your investment goals.
As we reach the halfway point of the year, this is a great time to pause and ask yourself:

• Are my financial goals still the same?
• Does my investment portfolio reflect those goals?
• Am I investing based on strategy or simply reacting to market noise?

Remember, it's not about how much you have invested, it's about how well your investments are working for you. A strong portfolio isn't necessarily the biggest one; it's the one built with quality investment instruments that align with your objectives and deliver value over time.

There are about still six months left in the year. That's enough time to make meaningful progress if you stay focused, disciplined, and committed to your long-term plan.

Don't let headlines, speculation, or the latest investment trend distract you from your financial destination. Stay informed but stay intentional.
And if you haven't already, take another look at my post, "12 Things to Remember in 2026", one practical investment lesson for each month of the year. It may be the reminder you need for a stronger second half of 2026.

Review. Refocus. Reposition. The best time to strengthen your financial future is now.

Making money without tears is still our goal!

Wishing you all a greener portfolio!
