Can you list the names of the schools and how long admission took after application smiley?
Mavor:
Now 5 letters of admission. Applied to 7 schools in total. 5 in, all successful. 2 pending.

On a separate note, please is there anyone here who did GIC to use as part of his/her application supporting doc? How did you make the payment very quickly and which bank in Canada did you enrol with?

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I plan on applying to a PhD in Canada, then leaving the PhD to study a diploma in healthcare. Does anyone have any idea if that is possible. Can I drop the PhD and go for the healthcare. I plan on getting admission for both before applying for visa.
Its no more possible since late 2024. If you do that you will have to apply for new study permit. If you can get admission for both why not use your wisdom and get the admission for only the health-care diploma ?

Amen. We hope we get an approval before July ends. We got a mail from school saying we must upload a copy of the approval latest 31st of July or we forfeit our offer and the funds aren’t refundable.

He attempted to scam me until I caught him red-handed.
I have attached the screenshot of our convo. on whatsapp after he initially reached out to me via email, when I had requested people to suggest schools in 🇨🇦.

Can someone tag the admin(s) for me, please.

I have been trying to pay application fees to Saskatchewan Polytechnic, but it keeps telling me declineed. and it it indicated that it accepts both visa debit card and master debit card. And I used the master debit, but it's still telling me, What do you think I should do?

Has anyone applied recently to sask polytechnic?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by ATTAHDYE(m): 3:10pm On Jul 11
You can use flywire to generate the payment details.

Select Local Bank Transfer as payment option.

They will generate a Naira bank account for you to pay to with your normal inter bank transfer.

All the best.

Hello everyone,

I have some questions about doing an upfront medical in Lagos for my Canada visa application.

1. Which clinic did you use for your upfront medical?
2. How much did it cost?
3. How long did the medical examination take?
4. How many days did it take for the clinic to upload the results?
5. What documents did you take with you?
6. Did you need to book an appointment before going?
7. Was your experience smooth, and would you recommend the clinic?

I would appreciate any recent experiences or advice. Thank you!

Hello Abelabdul, I would appreciate if you could give me a guide on how to go about Canada route, how applications are done. Each country is unique with its own application. If I can get steps on what to do then I am good to go.

Money is hard to come by and am not about to lose it to a scammer

Thanks

AbelAbdul:
I hope when someone private chat you and direct you to a WhatsApp or telegram group then scam you you won't come here and to complain.

I don't know why people don't learn

Good evening everyone. Please i saw an Ad on Facebook about Passage. Com

I clicked the ad and it promises to secure admission for me, get a visa for me and even fund my schooling and living expenses...

Where i got confused and needs clarification is because they said they need an upfront payment of up to CAD 13k.

I asked Gemini and Chatgpt and they all said they are legit loan platform for Africans and South Asians that normally don't qualify for a student loan because they don't have a cosigner...

My question now is, had anyone on this platform used it before or does anyone know anyone that has used it to get admission, funding and visa application?

How is the experience like.

They are already on my WhatsApp asking if they should call me. I need to get enough information from people that know about it to be fully aware of what I'm getting into.

I suggest you stop wasting your time and money on such people else you will regret coming across that link

When I arrive in Canada next month I will create a thread on what I did how I did what I did to get approved. So watch out.

PS: please do not send me pm. I do not respond to pm. And anyone reaching out to you claiming it's me is a scammer.

PPS: do not pay any agent for study permit. If you can read and understand simple instructions, you can do it by yourself

I will highly recommend QLife. Everything went smoothly when I was there.

QLife wanted to make a case with Lagos State Neighborhood Security on my behalf that day I went. I entered Lagos a day before my medical. I went to Eko Hotel roundabout to buy food in the night and I was arrested by Lagos State Neighborhood Security agents.
When I told QLife about it they wanted to make a case I told them since those officers didn't collect a penny from me before my release they should let it go.
They were so professional in the medical screening.
They told me it would take like four hours for the medical screening but I was done in less than two hours.
I did mine on a Monday and by Friday my result was sent to IRCC.

EnglandAmaka someone wants to give you a loan. He claims he can take care of your tuition fee and living expenses and yet asking you for 13kCAD. Isn't that funny?
