Millions are missing, economy crashing, Xi president paranoid, christians persecuted, Muslims in the camp, poverty growing, estate developments destroyed, military officials purged, population 500 - 800 million not 1 billion, no jobs , young people lying flat, hopelessness etc. A lot is happening , have you seen how many Chinese are trooping to Nigeria and other Countries? If you have not lived in these areas, you would never know how disjointed the endless avalanche of putrid western propaganda against the likes of Iran, North Korea and China can be. First time I landed in China some years back, I was expecting to meet "a nation of bicycles'.

Worship Xi? As in what?

Having lived in China for eons, i make bold to say that it would be far easier for President Trump to crave being worshipped, than for President Xi to do so. The Chinese leadership might be full of atheists, but they include a good set of well read men who understand the dangers of human worship post Chairman Mao. Do your research.

The Chinese are well aware of the desperation on the part of the United States and NATO to wranckle the chains of their economic growth. They know how sophisticated Western propaganda can be. They're are well aware of the consequences of competing neck to neck with the Western super powers, so they are always going after organisations and agencies that can be used for mind control from the outside. That's how religious groups became legit targets.

They are not trying to get anyone to worship Xi. It is even an insult to billions of Chinese to suggest that a man can browbeat them to worship him. The Chinese government built most Catholic Churches in china for a reason. They have always been very determined to make sure that powers outside their borders, do not control any segment of their people. Whether that is morally right or wrong is a different topic, but to stretch that to mean that Xi wants to be the new Jesus Christ is simply dumb.
