You dey use Pro na why. See the base devices? They're terrible for heavy smartphone users. I experienced this from my 4a 5G, 5a 5G, 6 and 7 and just last week my brother confirmed the same issue with his 9. The devices heat up and freeze when doing semi heavy tasks like a WhatsApp video call. I don switch to Huawei and iPhone now. I'll fix the Pixel 7 and sell it off. I don hang boot for pixel side now

If you're not in China, please steer clear of Huawei phones. Good luck downloading apps you'd normally find on playstore as they lack Google services (yes there are workarounds but it's not worth it)

As with OnePlus, their resale value is terrible. You go explain tire before you see buyers. If it's not iPhone, Samsung, Pixel and maybe high end Xiaomi, please hold your money (unless your a super nerd)

Yeah the Pro versions are most likely going to be better. I've not had first hand experience with the Pro models.
I use a Huawei Mate20 Pro, it's an old device anyway. I use it alongside a 16 Pro Max but the Huawei is my primary phone and it's very efficient

That's the problem. Some apps won't run cos the android version is outdated

It actually runs everything I need but I understand you. It doesn't have a lot of life left. Newer global versions of Huawei are excellent devices to own.
