The advice to fellow women should be to take time to know a man before lounging into marriage. She chose him "because he was nice" the moments he was in her presence. Men make the same mistake... choose women because she was nice the few moments she was in his presence. Rush to marry then the tue colours pop out. Abroad.... she should be seeking a divorce.... Irreconcilable differences ... but the real reason being he has no interest in his family. How can you not put your kids first?... and he's not been working? the system will force him to work ... and pay... or... go to prison or self deport. Guy is a loser. |

We moved abroad some years ago and no he says he'll drive my kids out of the house once they clock 14, but he is training his family children who are over 25 years old. Well, I don't have many, I can train them but I truly regret this marriage,This alone makes it clear this is click chasing bs. You cannot chase your kids out of the house in obodo oyibo until they are legal adults All this story would make sense in Naija not in the abroad where the law leans heavily on the woman's side. In Naija it is the other way round and if the snippet about abroad had not been inserted, one might be able to believe the story. |

Your version which I can swear with my dick is full of bullsheet. He is terrible but you shined teeth during your wedding, spread your legs many times for him to grow his seeds. Even while he was processing papers for abroad, you gladly joined and I'm sure you took selfies inside plane to oppress your friends. Now that you're abroad, you have started complaining again. The fact here is that you have made plans to dump him and join the wicked class of Nigerian women abroad but you're looking for Justification because that man has done nothing but being everything to you. You can fool everyone but not people like us who see through hypocrisy and lies easily. |

amili66:... So where's he getting all the money he's sending home? You saw a richman and chose him over other suitors. You chose this life, it's best you adjust to the current realities. Leaving that man will mean you've used him and dumped him. Marriage is for beta for worse |

bestman09:Good advice. Thank you. It's not too late for the man to turn around. Most likely blinded or distracted for now. Please keep praying for him because when God answers and He will answer you will really dance. 16 years is still young, our people say evening sun is better than morning sun 🌞. You can still enjoy plenty. You will still enjoy plenty. |

I can't even believe what I've just read. Suffer head must mark register in your life since the title Mrs is the most important....once done you will know what to do. Until then, stay afloat for the kids. They need you more than you need yourself. |

Reading this was heartbreaking. Sixteen years is a long time to carry this kind of emotional weight, and no one deserves to feel unloved, unappreciated, or like an afterthought in their own home. That said, before anyone on social media tells you to "leave immediately" or "endure at all costs," I'd encourage you to first ask yourself one important question: Is this marriage difficult, or has it become emotionally and financially abusive? From what you've shared, this isn't just about money. It's about priorities, neglect, emotional distance, and feeling like your children consistently come second to everyone else. That can leave deep emotional scars over time. My advice would be to stop suffering in silence. If it's safe to do so, seek professional marriage counseling. If he refuses, please don't refuse counseling for yourself. You need clarity, emotional support, and a plan—not because you're weak, but because you've been carrying this alone for far too long. Also, continue building your own financial independence. Looking back with regret won't change the past, but making wise decisions now can change your future. Finally, please don't stay in a marriage only because of shame or what people will say. The people who criticize you won't live with the consequences of your decisions—you will. Whatever you decide, make it from a place of wisdom, not exhaustion or fear. And if there are signs of emotional abuse, threats, or any form of physical violence, please prioritize your safety and that of your children. I sincerely hope you find peace, whether that's through genuine reconciliation with a changed husband or through making the decision that's healthiest for you and your children. You deserve a life where you don't have to beg for love, respect, or basic partnership. amili66: |

amili66:Pls try and commit your family to God in prayers. We worry about too much things but simply forget prayers... God is the only one that can change a mans heart.... God direct the heart of kings... Concentrate on yourself and your children... Give them the best! |
