I don't have to explain I was being utterly sarcastic.That's not how democracy works but don't forget it's the Governor's sole prerogative to appoint a temporary replacement in SC and there's nothing you can do about it.

Speaking of which just to digress. When Obama won 2008 ,the Governor of Illinois was responsible for appointing a replacement.As politicians are wont to do ,he wanted donations to his campaigns in return. As all Governors do,they found he was demanding campaign contributions from stakeholders who stood to benefit in other cases.They jailed him 14 years ,it was obvious the main reason was he tried to sell the Obama seat.
It was just too harsh in my opinion.Of course I think Obama is a vile human being who destroyed any opponent of his.
In this SC situation the Governor would have done the same ,get someone to appoint to Senate in return for campaign contributions. Politics is dirty .

And appointment of someone's sister the next day after the person died as temporary replacement is the way to go ? Someone without an idea nor doing anything near what the senator was doing in office?
