Only Cape Verde dared to attempt to snatch Argentina's soul? I couldn't believe my eyes seeing Rohr football on England. I mean this is the nonsense Southgate was sacked so England never has to do anymore!

La Furia Roja vs Albiceleste FINAL it is! Reigning European Champions vs Reigning World Champions. The postponed Finalissima will finally happen in a WC Final. Argentina joins Spain for a date with destiny. The Three Lions were on their way to a first WC Final for since 1966 when Anthony Gordon put them ahead but the Argentines stormed back like Possessed Souls and snatched Victory from the jaws of defeat. Enzo fernandez's strike was worthy of a game winner yet it was what brought the World Champions back into the game. And then Martinez's winner sealed and rewarded the comeback character of the "now possessed" Argentines. That Messi was at the heart of both goals via assists again shows his game-influencing aura as one of the GOATs of the beautiful game. Spain vs Argentina is a game we have never seen before in a WC knockout or decider. The first and only time they met was in a 1966 WC Group stage fixture in England. Argentina won 2-1. But the last time they met was in 2018 and it eneded 6-1 in favor of Spain. This time, both have a WC trophy on the line. Will Argentina hand it over to Spain or will they retain it? Destiny's date decides July 19th.

🔰Now, 2 out of my _12 Favorites/Darkhorses/Outside force selections are LEFT. 10 OUT of the way.
9 of the 10 OUT got booted out by 2 of the 2 still in the competition.

WC Final is next.. after third place action...

TheSuperNerd:
La Furia Roja showed for the 3rd time in a meeting between both nations within the last 2yrs why they are indeed France's boogey team. The Arch-Nemesis of Les Bleus strike again and with a show of superior technical quality. 2-0, controlled the game flow from minute 1 to end and most especially in critical phases and limited a really scary France attack to non-clear cut chances. France were never really close to scoring. The European Champions march on into another major final within 2yrs. Will they lift a 2nd WC title? July 19 will only answer that after the super classic between England and Reigning World Champions, Argentina. Who joins Spain for a date with destiny?

It just has to be only England.

2 occasions... 2 different coaches.... same Semifinal stage of the WC.

Cursed??

LMFAO. Another Ogunmepon fan annoyed by a simple post about Messi . 🤣🤣🤣

I'm not laughing at your statement; I'm laughing because you actually thought it was intelligent enough to be posted on the internet. 🤣

Is that the level Messi's undeniable greatness has reduced Penaldo's fans to? That they now have to bring up a competition Argentina isn't geographically qualified to compete in, just to troll Messi? Is that the best you could do? Seriously? 🤣

If you find my posts about Messi so annoying, I'd advise you scroll once you see my moniker or better still use the block button. It will only take a couple of seconds to do that instead of this unnecessary heartache you're causing yourself. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Safe to say that the only African country that came this far and didn't incur the African 86th minutes curse was France as England had theirs yesterday.

Messi might just be the first player to win the Balon D'or while playing outside of Europe, if he wins the world cup and also finishes as the highest goal scorer.

Has Scaloni ever lost a tournament with Argentina? This team is something else. Even when they don't play well, something just happens out of no where, case in point, Egypt (VAR), Switzerland (Embolo sky diving), even Cabo Verde, can Spain stop them? At the last Copa America they won, they came so close to not winning yet luck or whatever we can call it showed up for them. We wait till Sunday.

Messi vs Yamal
Who will win 2026 world cup?

I expect Yamal to. A son should be as great or greater than the 'father'.

Transfer of anointing through "Laying Hands" (lol). What a coincidence really. Though Yamal is still very young but I doubt if he can reach Messi's height of success. At 39, Messi has played every single minute of this world cup!!! Considering his longevity, he is arguably the greatest GOAT of GOATs. I don't think Pele or Maradona played at a high level till 39!!!! This is even someone who plays at a retirement league yet his levels haven't dropped. Can't wait for Sunday to come quick enough.

Your sarcasm is always nice to read but please never ever insult Pele be it by play or whatever. He remains the GOAT and god of football. The GOAT of GOATs. Period.

As for Maradona, he remains the GOAT of Argentina and the next GOAT after only Pele.
Messi follows next behind Diego.

Tuchel is proof that even some of the best and elite football tacticians can make really foolish decisions. England had no business losing that semifinals if they kept on attacking Argentina especially after going 1 up.
His decision to bring 3 defenders in as his 1st 3 changes was diabolically silly and he paid the price. Kudos to Argentina for taking advantage of such tactical stupidity. They deserved to be in the final over a team that decided to go haram.

TheGoodJoe:
It just does not make sense. Tuchel is known for possession play. How he abandoned it at this moment is baffling.
