No vehicle is bad! Let that sink into your cranium... they only lack experts with real time experience. I have used European cars(bmw,benz,audi,Volkswagen,Peugeot),Japanese cars and now using American cars and I have no negative story about any because I am a very talented mechanic .

While others see challenges as problems, I see them as opportunities to gain knowledge and experience, and I've benefited greatly from that mindset. I believe no knowledge is ever wasted.

I was retained by the company where I did my internship after my supervisors noticed that I had a much better understanding of electrical installation and house wiring than many of my fellow interns.


While some of my course mates were acting like ajebota back in school, I was busy following one of our lecturers or a local electrician to work, especially on weekends just to learn.


I don't believe in blowing big grammar to impress people. I take pride in working with my hands. I can do many things....... catering, carpentry, electrical installation, basic mechanical work etc.

I learned these things by working with people. I hate being idle.

Nobody talk about Nigerian used Volvo series (S60). The car was after my life. When the car was in good condition, i enjoyed it for long distance driving because of it turbo engine and very reliable on the road but when e get wiring/electric or engine problem, na there your sufferness start

Nigerians are poor. So also, we lack better auto technicians, modern diagnostic and fixing tools, better spare arts and accessories etc.

There’s no vehicle that’s not averagely ok.

Those vehicles we accused of being bad are driven well on western world and rarely breakdown.

The maximum number of Lexus I have seen in the last 5 months here in Europe is not up to 4.
You can nearly count the number of Toyota vehicles they ride here.
Before you see a Toyota, you would have seen tens of different brands of vehicles that haven’t made it to Africa in their live.

Absolutely %1000 correct? some do not change engine oil for months, i have seen many smokey cars on the road, Rather than change parts completely they weldd it or sandpaper it, put it back on the vehicle, and even they wants to change parts Haaa! the spare parts dealer would sell you the lowest grade or substandard part for the price of a brand new, mechanics are crooks some would completely damaged your vehicle rather than repair it. I took my car for aircondition gas fill it came out with an exhaust pipe burst


I have seen cars with no head lamps, rear lights nor brake lights on nigerian roads And why do nigerian drivers, car owners and passengers think or believe that SEATBELT are not for them? I wore sit belt when ever i am driving in nigeria or as a passenger and people laugh at me for doing that i don't get it!

The beetle was the symbol of Volkswagen. By 1981 the company surpassed 20 million units sold. A record never matched. Production of that particular version stopped and an upgraded one appeared later. The next range of beetles could not match the old series, even up till this day.

Danfos were like that. Built solidly up till the 70s and 80s. Check other Volkswagen vehicles built after the 80s and compare.

Some of them are actually amazing.

But if you buy a badly maintained one, congratulations... your mechanic is about to become your new best friend. 😂

1. Older Range Rover Sport

You bought luxury.

Your mechanic bought a new generator.

Cooling system.

But Here's The Truth

The funny thing is...

Most of these cars aren't actually bad.

Many people drive them for years without serious problems.

The problem is buying one that has been:

❌ Accident repaired

❌ Poorly maintained

❌ Odometer rolled back

❌ Abused by previous owners
