Atiku won your state Akwa Ibom in 2023. I don't think you should be in the best position to be commenting on this. Tinubu became president because a lot of Northerners paid back the support that he gave to Buhari in 2015 against his Southern brother, Jonathan. Of course you can call that strategy or playing the long game. He saw a perfect opportunity in Buhari and took it. Don't forget that he had supported Ribadu and even Atiku in the past without any success but he never said "Emi lokan" until he supported Buhari and won. Tinubu invested 2.1m votes in Buhari and reaped 5.6m votes in 2023 to become president. Delayed gratification is not a virtue known to many and that's perfectly fine. Politics is not taught in class and until betrayed, Northerners always repay their debts. If you are back supporting Tinubu today, it's because you think he will win the 2027 elections again.

The moment you support Tinubu, ask difficult questions about Obi, or simply change your mind, you are suddenly "paid," "compromised," "tribalistic," or "a data boy."

That is political intolerance wrapped in democratic language.

The truth is that Obi is not seeable in any other part of the country except south east. Even in south east the elites and educated are not accepting Obi. It's only the ariaria, onitsha market and the street orchids that are his supporters. You may find a few educated but highly tribalistic people as part of them. Obi's support base in south east is nothing but IPOB supporters. 2027 elections in the south east will unmask him. It will not look 2023.

Have you noticed that south east is suddenly quiet about Nnamdi Kanu and his appeal. After 2027 when Obi fails woefully then they will revive Kanu's issue.

And he won the drug baron in 2023 in South including lagos and Abuja. You see in SE in 2027 it is only those who have mental
problems that may vote drug baron. And when I checked they are not up 10k in the whole SE
