Finally seen someone in the same boat. My brother’s application was submitted April 20. Absolute silence till today. Gcms note requested, web form submitted, called like 20 times.
No movement at all.

I did upfront medicals, I noticed applicants that submitted between April 20 - April 24 haven't received a response from IRCC till now.

I don’t understand what April 20th applicant did o. It’s over 3 months with no update at all. Not even ghost update.

You mean not response to the webform and GCMS note?
I heard it might take 30days or more to respond to GCMS Note. Though sometime less.
I sent webform and the response I got was my application is in process. I have sent multiple webform afterwards but no response.

I wonder what’s up with the applications submitted within that period. We’ve also called but no concrete information was obtained.

Can anyone recommend a Canadian Uni or College that doesn't require your school sending your transcript.

My nephew graduated from Uniben and they made him lose his admission Newfoundland last year due to their inability to send his transvript Despite several requests. Though he has the soft copy and also a sealed copy he got from the exams and records unit.

Can someone recommend a uni or college that accepts the sealed transcript as substitute for his uni sending a copy

This is Nigeria. You need to bribe. If you don't bribe, it will take a donkey years for your school to send your transcript

Mine is also 23hrs layover. 44:55mins journey.
Pls go to emirates website and book for "Dubai Connect". According to ChatGPT if you book the Dubai Connect you would be lodged in a hotel during your time in Dubai and you won't pay for it. Also apply for transit visa.

PS: Booking of "Dubai Connect" is free. I have booked mine and gotten a room reservation.

Go to Emirates.com then navigate to "manage booking" enter your last name and PNR code. then look out for "Dubai Connect" try and book it and apply for transit visa. Booking is free.

That flight meal that is showing 'not disclosed', if you go to emirates.com it would be disclosed and you are given options to make your choice.

Most schools would want your school to send them the transcript using the school official email. It's always one of the conditions.

Mine my school told me it will take them 2 weeks to send it. And I knew that 2 weeks was a lie. I bribe so they could send it faster

Uniben did not made your nephew lose his admission your nephew lost the admission because he did not act ahead due to inexperience. Next time he can request for the official transcripts to be sent directly to his host University and ask his alma mater staffs that he want it to get to Canada quickly.

As per school that waive official transcripts you can check it yourself in the school admission requirements for international students (Google list of accredited institutions in Canada). Bcareful of schools with the most easier and faster admission decision because they may be sham which will affect your study permit.

But after admission was settled. The school requested UNIBEN to send the official one.

That's where the problem started. Even to get certificate from them was a huge problem

The first picture is where you will put your last name and PNR code. After in-putting those inform click on 'manage booking' a new page will appear.

Second picture is the next page that will appear.

When the page appears after in-putting your details, scroll down u will see 'Dubai Connect booking'. Click on it. Mine is showing 'manage Dubai Connect' becos I have already booked.

The last picture is the room reservation.

When you are done with the Dubai Connect booking, apply for transit visa. all these are free.
