How come the surplus is not reflected in your VAT ?!

Ikengawo:
VAT is not an achievement.

If i tax Dangote 5 naira for a cup of garri, = VAT N5
If i tax Dangote 1 naira for a cup of garri, = VAT N1

It does not mean that Dangote or the environment has become richer or poorer.

The figures could be very real, because Southeast states tax low. Obi is famous for reducing all taxes in Anambra and still having surplus.

Oya, keep attaching yourself to SS because of oil. Even Ondo whose oil output dwarfs the entire SE is not forcefully attaching itself to SS. I don't what Akwa Ibom has in common with igbos.
So u don't even know that half of ur so called south south that u can't even find in modern geography is Igbo? South south is a nigerian govt creation to politically isolate the igbos it's part of the anti igbo policy after the civil war.
Many igbo speaking communities in the south south have huge oil and gas deposits but due to fear that's mixed with hate the nigerian state cut them out from their igbo brothers in the south east and told them they are not igbos which some of them accepted and still believed till date.
If proper research is done u will find out that the oil and gas igboland actually produces is far more than what the nigerian state officially attributes to the region today so don't come out with that baseless and useless argument that igboland doesn't produce much oil and gas even imo state today has been officially recognised as having one of the largest gas deposits in nigeria.

Abia ranks last in VAT generation among the 36 states + FCT? Meanwhile, war-ravaged Borno generates more VAT than Anambra and Enugu combined and even surpasses the combined total of Imo, Enugu and Abia.

Some figures have a way of exposing narratives more effectively than arguments ever could. I'll leave it there, because the moment I dissect these VAT numbers, one overzealous mod will ban me and it will appear as if it is bot.
These are all rigged numbers

My friend, Wabara led a walkout from the red chamber when the issue of 25% derivation to oil producing states was being debated by the Senate.

Wabara will later state that the resource control bill for oil producing states getting 25% was not in favour of his people and region.

I will search the archives for the video of when he made that statement.

Prior, to 13% being granted, all SE states collected more from FAAC revenue that was based on population distribution only.

SE has progressively become worse off since Yaradua passed 13% to oil producing states.

Search annual FAAC allocations to states in the year 2000 and compare it to when Yaradua passed 13% in 2008.

The SE also sided with the north during the offshore -onshore dichotomy which was only resolved by the supreme court ruling

Without that ruling, Akwa Ibom oil and gas fields that were located offshore did not benefit the state.

But after that ruling which coincided with the tenure of Akpabio, the state began it's journey to where it is.

SE remains the greatest obstacle to Southern emancipation especially the SS.
Keep deceiving urself with useless narratives igbos will never be scared of resource control why will a tribe that fought for 3 years and lost millions in a war to be on their own be scared of resource control? Only the other two major tribes that teamed up together to come to their region to fight them are definitely supposed to be the ones that are really scared of resource control.

I clearly stated half and not the whole south south is Igbo, another name should have been used for the region instead of using a name that's not officially recognised in geography.

There's hardly any production in the SE .

That place is dead .
And you think those productions in the North and West are owned by who?
Why would there not be less production in SE, where your leaders politically made it so. But still, they travel down to North and West and still show they are business endowed by owing virtual all businesses around you that made up this VAT.

U can't judge with this kind of assertion, Ogun state should be between 1-3, if we are talking of the industry and production.

Because Ogun is supposed to be in third or fourth place after Rivers.

Let's not stir unnecessary controversy here, if you want to see a very significant improvement in the VAT collection from the SE and SS, the Federal Government should decentralized the "PORT" and allow the clearing of goods and services take place in this two regions.
Then you will see a significant drop in the VAT collected in Lagos and some other States where these big-time importers do their businesses.

Igbos are not attaching to anyone it's rather others that are actually attaching themselves to the igbos by doing everything to change the narratives and make them look as if their rich lands are dry and unproductive just want to make that clear bye.

Which power does obi have to say such? Even a military head of state won't say such because it's supposed to be a collective decision which everyone is supposed to agree to, am only trying to correct ur false narratives that igbos are against resource control.

The day Peter Obi and his Obidients stop demarketing Nigeria, the government and the President.

There are threats about Peter Obi misrule of Anambra since 2010 still trending, All the people that criticized that mediocre are Igbo people, but suddenly, you want to gaslight the entire country to vote same man who ruined Anambra State with his container economics. In doing that you couldn't do your campaign without bitterness, you chose to engage the people you should owe your existence to.

Whatever pushback you see be ready to accept
