Even Noah Atubolu has found it difficult getting a new club. He refused to renew with Freiburg before summer came along, feeling he would get a new club soon enough. Freiburg has gone ahead to spend 12M euros bringing in another Top young GK from Bremen, Backhaus and now Atubolu is stranded and has only one option... Find a club willing to make him their number 1.

Atubolu had a strong campaign this past season so if even he struggles to get a club now then how much more a GK from Africa.
At the end of 24/25 season Aston Villa GK, Martinez waved goodbye to the fans thinking he’ll leave over the summer but nobody came for him, eventually had to stay at Villa. The market isn’t favorable for GKeepers

Bronze🥉 is coming home!!! It's not Gold but it's still something. England get their best WC finish since 1966. A rollercoaster of a game between two teams who forgot what defending is and just wanted to enjoy their football. 6-4 may be a basketball or hockey score but it ensures football fans and observers were not bored one bit seeing a game with no real high stakes. In the end, Deschamps ends his reign as Les Bleus coach with a loss.... Mbappe ends his 2026 WC campaign with double digits goals while England secure 3rd place as consolation prize and Bellingham leaves his mark as England's next All-timer Midfielder.....remember he's still just 23. Up next is the Finalissima of Finalissimas.....🇪🇦 v 🇦🇷

🔰It's been a long countdown ride and the final 2 out of my 12 Favorites/Darkhorses/Outside force selections are LEFT. 10 OUT of the way.
9 of the 10 OUT got booted out by the final 2.
ONLY ONE SHALL BE LEFT STANDING AS THE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS. Only Time knows who... we shall await time's tale.

WC Final is UP NEXT... The final summary to come right after. What a ride it's been.

🟣Next-up (WC Final):

TheSuperNerd:
La Furia Roja vs Albiceleste FINAL it is! Reigning European Champions vs Reigning World Champions. The postponed Finalissima will finally happen in a WC Final. Argentina joins Spain for a date with destiny. The Three Lions were on their way to a first WC Final for since 1966 when Anthony Gordon put them ahead but the Argentines stormed back like Possessed Souls and snatched Victory from the jaws of defeat. Enzo fernandez's strike was worthy of a game winner yet it was what brought the World Champions back into the game. And then Martinez's winner sealed and rewarded the comeback character of the "now possessed" Argentines. That Messi was at the heart of both goals via assists again shows his game-influencing aura as one of the GOATs of the beautiful game. Spain vs Argentina is a game we have never seen before in a WC knockout or decider. The first and only time they met was in a 1966 WC Group stage fixture in England. Argentina won 2-1. But the last time they met was in 2018 and it eneded 6-1 in favor of Spain. This time, both have a WC trophy on the line. Will Argentina hand it over to Spain or will they retain it? Destiny's date decides July 19th.

🔰Now, 2 out of my _12 Favorites/Darkhorses/Outside force selections are LEFT. 10 OUT of the way.
9 of the 10 OUT got booted out by 2 of the 2 still in the competition.

WC Final is next.. after third place action...

🟣Next-up (Third place):

I have been hearing about this Akpe Victory, and I never really commented on him because I had never seen him play before. I just finished watching the preseason friendly between FC Basel and Juventus, and this boy is good. To be that good and commanding at 19 is scary. I know it is only a preseason friendly, but this boy has caught my attention, and I will definitely be closely monitoring him this season. I am highly impressed with what I saw. The boy that I saw today will not be at FC Basel next season.

His physique and playing style remind me so much of Edmond Tapsoba the Burkinabe Bayer Leverkusen gem. Super-eagle centerback positions in the coming years will be a thing of beauty to witness the mouthwatering competition that will take place. Until the recent emergence of proper centerbacks we never really had a proper centerback since the retirement of Joseph Yobo. Eric Chelle in the coming years will have sleepless nights trying to pick the starting centerbacks in the SE.

The other Nigerian lad K. Olaigbe did not impress me at all. It is only one friendly game, so I will not totally write him off, but based on what I saw, he is nowhere near Super Eagles quality. Wish the lad good luck in his career.

👀 Jude Bellingham was one goal away from becoming England's highest scorer at a single men's World Cup.

🤝 He handed Bukayo Saka the penalty to complete his hat-trick instead.

⚽️ Ten minutes later, Bellingham scored to break the record anyway.

Take a bow, Jude 👏

Quality of a great leader. One personal glory hunter will be wondering why English players respect a young Bellingham while Portuguese players don't give a fak about him despite being the oldest in the team.

They are even trying to emotionally manipulate the Argentine not to play physically against Spain, even the Spanish are guilty of this. They fear how the Argentine out muscled the English from the blast of the whistle and Spain knows the only way they can beat the Argentine today is if Argentina sees and play them like friends. The Argentine should come all out blazing and out muscled them and let's see if the Spanish players can last 60mins on the pitch.

The little edge they have over Argentina is their midfield led by Rodri.
The only way they can win is if they score late above 80 minutes.

Spain have better midfielders and are superior in midfield but I really think if Argentina adopt the same playing style they did against England, they may not give Spain much domination in the midfield. Mac Allister, Enzo, Parades and De Paul are tireless runners and can tackle the whole Spanish midfielders for full 90mins without gassing out

Argentina did not out muscle the English. Taaa.

Tuchel gave that game away with his ridiculous ultra defensive approach after England scored. Argentina was there for the taking.

Firstly, no country can easily beat Argentina.
Secondly, Tuchel didn't gave the match away, his tactics didn't just worked with Argentina because Argentina are fighters, they fight to the end.
Tuchel used same tactics against Mexico and they ended up winning even with a man down.
Tuchel would use same tactics against 90% of countries and these countries won't comeback like Argentina did. So, we should give Argentina their flowers.
Lastly, a midfield combination of Enzo, Mac Allister and Parades/De Paul are better than the French midfielders that played against Spain. So, even the midfield battle won't be easy for Spain today.
Whoever wins today, We Barcelona and Messi fans will celebrate 🥂

Against Mexico with a man down, going defensive is justified. The true measure of the game against Argentina was before the goal was scored. After the goal England's possession was 12%. Not even Ghana registered that low level of possession and you say that is not self sabotage but due to Argentina's fight?

We will see how much they can fight today. They will suffer. They will lose. They will cryyy.

Martinez

Chai. I wished we kept him but career wise they didn't want to give him the slot so he had to do what's best for him. Going on to win the WC with Argentina

For GK, its mostly about Manager's trust and preference. A GK doesn't need be perfect.

Las las the WC is bigger than the EPL title. He did his bit against the best of the best on the global stage barely a year after settling into his new space

Evr since then na soso carpenter we dey acquire for 2nd choice GK😂😂

We need to do better and get a great 2nd choice with valuable minutes too. We can built some good value and sell them bigger that way

the game will go down as one of the craziest games in World Cup 3rd place matches.

It started like some semi match fixing as France look totally disinterested from start. Then the carpintaahs Tuchel relied on started to misbehave. They'll go down in English history as a really terrible pair. 4-0 turn 4-3 then 5-3. And finally 6-4 when no be penalty shootout 😂😂😂😂

Bellingham look Harry Kane look his talky say no way i go make Harry hold record as e wan retire make i hold this one for England and he decided to score exactly like Ahmed Musa did vs Iceland that year. Sweet goal.

Tuchel is to blame for not using Saka and Watkins vs Argentina.
