Switzerland are decent but the red card did them in. Still not as solid as Belgium, Portugal or France faced by Rodri and Spain.

CONMEBOL president Alejandro Domínguez has announced that the 2030 FIFA World Cup will have 64 participating teams, not 48.

He also adds that the kickoff of the tournament will be in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay in commemoration of the World Cup's centennial, after which it will move to the main venues in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

Let me be more elaborate. Possession heavy. That is what I class Tiki Taka. Yes, Arrigo Sacchi played a possessive style but it is not as possession heavy as what the Guardiola school of thought needs.

If the Italian FA is looking into Guardiola, it means they are prepared for change and a deviation from their ways to accept a different school of thought.

We never talk 48 teams finish, we don dey talk 64. I understand this World Cup was successful but come on. 32 teams was honestly the sweet spot but it seems we're never getting back to that at this point.

Secondly, if Nigeria cannot qualify for this tournament, we may need to ban football from the country totally. Make everybody go rest.

It is this tiki taka that I said earlier will be difficult for them to accept. Italy has indigenous coaches that play possession football without losing Italian identity.

Tournament hosting effectively belongs to an exclusive few or a multi country hosting henceforth.

On the bright side, countries can share the financial burden, and no more fairytale second chance nonsense. However we'd rue the drop of quality of the tournament since minnows will become a regular feature. The 32 team format was the best.

At least Nigeria will be qualifying regularly.
