In war there must be casualties. My own brother was conscripted in the war and many people from my town. Many didn't return.

Igbos should stop whining. Dozing Obodo, their own father, killed over 400 people for no reason. No one heard about it on the media.

The case of initially neutral Midwest was really pathetic. Biafra had no honest reason to invade it.

Invading Midwest removed the most honest neutral peace broker from the equastion.

I support proper reconciliation and apology from all parties in the war. All sides should acknowledge what they did wrong.

The Igbos fought a largely defensive war of biological, political and sociocultural survival. They wanted to be on their own (and we know many still do).

If they had capitulated without resistance when Gowon's Sojas fired the first shot at Garkem, there would have been a Fulani Emirate in Enugu as you have in Yorubaland.

There is a reason why Boko Haram and ISWAP elements have sleeper cells all around SW, and can successfully kidnap 50 students and teachers for months in the heart of Yorubaland but wouldn't dare such in the East.

They'd stick out a like a sore thumb in the East and have no where to hide. They know it.

I don't have to spelt out everything for you. Go figure..

The fact is that no country moves forward without uniting the citizens. Nigeria is too divided, and a divided house can never stand no matter how you struggle to patch it..

So many countries in Europe and Africa fought wwars, they didn’t move forward because they buried the history, they moved forward because they sat down, discussed the issues and implement the necessary things on ground to ensure that peace prevails. But Nigeria is doing the opposite, thinking that development will fall from sky.. Even the fake three R’s were never implemented. It was a hoax .. Infact, Nigeria was far better than today even before the civil war erupted..

As long as we have refused to discuss the civil war, refused to implement policies that favours all, don’t expect progress in Nigeria.
Again with the way Nigeria is going today, Nigeria will keep sinking to the level that today would be seen as glorious years of Nigeria in the next 10-15 years..

Somebody should tell the governor that if Biafra had succeeded, the people he is apologising to would have seized the Niger Delta oil resources and forgotten about Plateau state people.
