There is a reason I always advice people here to buy Global Versions. I have been there before.

I have used Chinese Version Redmi Note 2,Mi Max 3 and K30 Ultra and I never experienced any network issue to complain about.

Please for someone currently using Note 12 pro plus, what phone can you suggest for an upgrade, that is budget friendly o, lol
Please help a sister here with suggestions.
My note 12 is getting old and,3yrs . I'm looking to replace it

I have used Xiaomi for a long time as well. It was in this place people were chasing after the Redmi Note 3 SE and the Redmi Note 5 Taiwanese version just because of bands.

There are still a lot of locations that the only available 4G band for MTN is 20 and 28 for Glo. This is for places where there are little presence of masts and these 2 bands travel farther than the Band 3 and 7

Except with the recent band 38 and 41 on glo you would have never gotten 4G+ on glo using those Chinese phones. MTN too may hardly give you 4G+ then VOLTE is another thing on the Chinese phones that will make me never buy again. Though hardware for the price is the better compared to global versions

So even though the current Chinese version Xiaomi phones all have the Band 38 and 41 on glo network,they will still not have 4G+ and VOLTE?

If they do have band 38 and 41 they will have 4G Plus if they are Chinese models. global versions on the other hand do not need band 38 and 41 to have 4G Plus on the glo network, they can aggregate band 3 and 28 and as for voice over LTE that one is story for another day MTN will not allow a Chinese model phone to use voice over LTE from their network. I have tried for too long because I currently use a Chinese model

which location does MTN allow VoLTE cus my phone isn't Chinese model but I only get VoLTE with Airtel

MTN works on specific phones.

Goto mtn. Ng / VoLTE and check if your phone is on the list.
Remove space where necessary

You get it very well. Same house I will have 4G network my Dad's RN7 CN won't have while his RN10Pro will have. When band 7 is back his RN7 CN will now have 4G. This is MTN

omo. They are not in the same category. Redmi note 14 is better in every aspect. A7 pro is just new and it has a bigger battery that's all.

If you have the money for note 14. Go for it
