AVAVictor1:He would have performed excellently well if he ended up getting 1m votes in the south. If he’s contesting on the PDP platform, that would have been possible as the party structure would carry him. But as it stands, ADC is practically nonexistent in the south. Not a single popular southern politician is in the party. The party has no structure whatsoever in the region. So, Atiku will be lucky to get 20k votes in any Southern state. 1million is just too far fetched. |

Parachoko:Instead of thinking how to remove your generations from poverty, you are prophesying about a wealthy man who have written his name on the sands of time, that your generations will read about. Same as Tinubu and Atiku, all in the sands of time, but no. You all with sit and fight your fellow poor masses because of those who keep you in poverty. |

Parachoko:I read his hypocritical cries and had a good laugh. On this same thread, he declared that “no absurdity is beyond Tinubu”. So I was wondering, what political strategy was that? Is that a way of campaigning for your own candidate? Obailala and other obidients like him can’t take what they dish out. They can’t even take their own advice. It’s only a hypocrite that will declare emphatically that no absurdity is beyond a candidate and then turn around to complain when another person declares emphatically that his preferred candidate can’t ever become president. |

PO lost his only ticket to presidency the day he left Atiku's train, he could have humbly vice him to gain more ground in the North . Kwankwanso will go back to APC he is just using PO for popularity just as anyone else. The 2027 race is strictly between Atiku and PBAT (because after PMB who is now late Atiku remain the only Northern political juganut that will earn massive votes which can send PBAT packing). After 2027 Obi should kiss the presidency a final goodbye ![]() |

seunmsg:What ever Atiku loses in the south, he makes double in the north. Can the same be said of Tinubu in the north? Tinubu will haemorrhage votes in the north. Can he make up for them in the south? You think southerners will blindly vote out of sentiments? Even Tinubu lacks your kind of confidence? |

obailala:The opposition has been so useless that they have not won one single bye elections after 2023. Even ordinary Local Govt elections where they are supposed to show their grassroot support , they lost woefully. I don't understand were Obi and Atiku are going to get votes to remove Tinubu. You can even see that the modus by both Atiku and Obi is to get Tinubu disqualified since they can't muster the power base and support to oust Tinubu. Leave Social media troll farm rants by the Obidients. Majority of Nigerians are not on Nairaland and even the total number of active and passive members here at any given day is not up to 10,000 unique members and out of that same number, majority are from multiple troll accounts . If you also want to use the echo chamber that is Facebook , you will be setting yourself up for massive disappointment because Facebook networks attract the same crowd usually from the same ethnicity so you are not going to get a good guage of opinion regarding the upcoming elections . The real people that will determine the elections are the silent voters who only show up on election day and I will tell you that just as your average Obidient has an unshakeable support for their Obi, so also do these silent voters whom you all ignore until election day also have strong commitment to Tinubu . Blaming INEC , Judiciary and other state institutions for the impending loss that the opposition will face is only self cold comforting. As per Obi, I don't know the way forward for him because as an opposition figure , he has exposed himself more than he ought to have exposed Tinubu. Concerning Alhaji Atiku, this is his last outing and when he losses again, he will retire permanently from politics. But Obi, will only continue to degrade himself more because another 4ys in opposition to Tinubu will not amount to anything to him given that come 2031, the Presidency is going to the north and from every indicator , it will be a candidate from the APC handpicked and fully supported by Tinubu. So what will Obi do as opposition the coming 12ys that will see Nigerians eager to vote for him in 2039 when he squandered his credentials by being a petty opposition figure with zero leadership and seed planting skills? |

Tinubu will get 25% in all the States apart from the SE but Tinubu will not get the highest number of votes in 2027. Therefore prepare yourself for 2027 February/March 2nd round Presidential elections - Tinubu vs Atiku/Obi seunmsg: |

Omenlon:See leave Obidients. They are now caught between voting Atiku over Obi because it's now they see that obi can not be accepted in the north but their ethnic bigotry is standing in their way. Note that Obidients are only interested in seeing Tinubu removed from office and they know deep down that Obi can never smell Aso Rock. The problem now is how to get obidients that hooked on IPOB anti north and anti Fulani rhetoric to vote. Fulani man instead of their Obi |

Lithiumite:Northern Nigeria made Tinubu President, and the same Northern Nigeria are feeling heavily betrayed by Tinubu and have vowed that Tinubu will never return to Presidency in 2027 and reason Tinubu held El Rufai that have the greatest capacity after Buhari to rally and mobilize Northern Muslims against Tinubu. Tinubu had the biggest advantage to win in 2023, but today, the biggest advantage he has is being the incumbent President that can decide to carelessly rig the election which is what he is banking on, nothing more or less, but I tell you, with the anger in the North and even in the Southeast against Tinubu, rigging the election might lead to national chaos because the loss will be too obvious to rig. What I foresee is that Atiku or Obi might get the highest number of votes cast while Tinubu will get the highest national spread which will lead to rerun. If the rerun happens between Tinubu and Atiku, Obidients will vote for Atiku during the second round. If the rerun is between Tinubu and Obi, Atiku supporters will throw their weight behind Obi/Kwankwaso. Tinubu's only pathway to reelection is through massive rigging which may lead to chaos. |

CapitalBank:All their hope, arrogance and bragging of Tinubu winning 2027 Presidential election is on massive rigging using state institutions controlled by Tinubu as incumbent President but they forget how angry Northerners and Southeasterners are with Tinubu and his failed government, rigging the election when the loss is too obvious will most likely lead to national chaos. To them, nothing will happen just because nothing happened in 2023 that Tinubu lost and got rigged in by INEC. |

Bushmeat don finally catch hunter. You see that North, that electoral well Tinubu fetched votes from in 2023, in 2027 we will all draw votes from that same well, then we will leave you be with your SW votes and balablu you in SS and SE and see how your kinsman will not be OTP with this same INEC. | Re: Do Not Underestimate The Obi – Kwankwaso (OK) Movement by franchasng: 11:48am On Jul 26 |
FSBoperator:Our decision not to support Buhari and Tinubu is based on who they are as a person and not about their tribe because Igbos massively and happily supported Obasanjo a Yoruba man for 8 years. The same Igbos happily voted and supported Yaradua a Fulani Muslim. The same Igbos always supported Atiku a Fulani Muslim until Peter Obi a better candidate and an Igbo man emerged. The same Igbos voted massively for MKO Abiola a Yoruba man even though I know you were deceived by your elites and media houses into believing Igbos didn't vote for MKO. Go and check the 1993 Presidential election result, Southeast had just 4 states and out of the 4 states, MKO Abiola won 1 state and still got more than 40% of total votes cast in the other 3 states in Southeast despite having a prominent Igbo man as a running mate to MKO's opponent. Go and check the result in Northern Nigeria, the states MKO lost, he didn't even get up to 20% but in Southeast states were Tofa won MKO, MKO lost with a very small margin because where Tofa got say 45% votes, MKO got 43%, meaning Tofa only won by little margin, which shows Igbos massively voted for MKO a Yoruba man. So our decision not to support Tinubu and Buhari is about who they are and not about their tribe and you can never hear an Igbo man arrogantly say that A YORUBA MAN WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA, only Yorubas make that shameful statement and they say it with so much joy instead of feeling ashamed of making such horrible statement of hatred!! Make una try learn if not nature go teach una the bitter lesson of life, learn and stop arguing baselessly |
