The guy na thug. Bruno and Joelighton too. Sometimes I do wonder if Joelighton is using frustration of being a failed striker to play football.
he has this arrogant aura about him. Good player though

I really wish Boniface regains his form at Bayer leverkusen cause the guy has gone through a lot with injuries. He has been fantastic in their preseason games which could suggest Bayer want to keep him, even the Bayer admin on X love him and his jokes. Boni will be useful in the system Chelle plays and he should get another opportunity in the NT.

And about Vini's wages. I read that the Arsenal board are willing to make him one of the top earners in Europe. Time will tell though... Summer window till long. Sept 1 is the busstop.
Yea.. Heard they might offer him 100% of his image right. Fingers crossed

Okoye for sure bro
Yes he didn't handle the initial pressure of repping his country but he's gradually coming to fore. Nwabali has his flaws too but I believe this rivalry should put them both on their toes to be the best

Perhaps Mushin and Bariga should head over to IG coz the moroccans have been racially abusing Africa's finest baller, Esther Okoronkwo on her page.

I am so disgusted my man. These Moroccans ehn.. I need them to cry blood on the pitch at this Wafcon. And the refs should behave because sh*t just got outta hand.

He's already debuted for the first team.

Rivers United? Dem go preseason for Argentina?

Arteta badly wants Bruno Guimaraes so Arsenal will bag him.

Vini Jr for all his attitude excesses is the number 1 LW on the planet. Even PSG's Kvara and Bayern's Luis Diaz bow to Vini Jr. Arteta and everyone at Arsenal know they will be getting a gamechanger and the best in his position in the world in a role Arsenal needs serious Upgrade. Omo, Arteta wont mind at all.

The only blip here is reports of Mourinho saying Vini should be kept. But recall Vini and Mourinho had a huge misunderstanding over the Prestianni situation in the UCL. Vini may not been keen on working with Mou but time will tell.
Also, if Florentino Perez has his way, Vini will be sold because they are already spending big on a similar profile in Yan Diomande. Madrid needs to make sales to balance the squad and fund even moves for Rodri.

Don Perez sold C.Ronaldo in a UCL-winning season to Juventus. So nobody is untouchable to Perez if he means to do business. Lol
Total disregard, Doc, no mention of Doku and Simon in the list of best left wingers.

I have seen this scenario with this boy for a very long time, and to be honest with you, I am almost done with this boy. When he is in the mood, he will be the best player on the pitch against any team in the world, and then he will go through weeks playing like a player that still needs football developmental lessons.

I saw Chukwueze against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu playing for Villarreal, and he looked a level above every player that was on that pitch that day, including Vinícius Jr. Chukwueze's matter don tire me out completely. Talent is never his issue; the problem is I don't really know if this boy really wants to be remembered as a great player or if he is just satisfied making millions of dollars yearly playing football.

Talent-wise, he is among the top 3 to 5 of this generation of supereagles, but his work ethic and drive to be great are just not there. I heard that he recently hired a personal trainer. By doing that, I am now starting to believe that there are some realisations coming from his end that pure god-gifted talent can only take him to a certain level. The disappointment in Fulham failing to make the loan move permanent and the lack of interest from other Premier League teams and the coming of right wingers in the national team like femi azeez, Zadok Yohanna and Nathan Tella looking to dispose of him out of the Super Eagles, I believe, could be the catalyst that can finally make this boy be more consistent in his play. I like Chukwueze because on his day he is that 100 million pounds player who can win a big game for Nigeria.
Sad reality. I don't know what his problem is. He has to talk to himself.

Maybe the new wing back will reinvigorate him...

Anyway, how about the Starboy Osimhen, no movement??. I guess Turkey is the ceiling then... One or two years and he moves to Saudi, case close.

Me too.
I wish him and Chukwueze to come good this season.
He has the talent, all he need now is to work harder, focus more on his fitness and less on social media, and he will bounce back.

Chukwueze cannot afford to misfire this season with too many competitions coming up.

We still need some of these experienced players at their best, even though some may want them be gone as soon as possible.

I just thought I should add this,

Nigeria peaked 5th in the world before participating at the USA '94 world cup,not after the world cup as some people used to think.

1994: Achieved our all-time peak of 5th and held 6th and 8th.

1995: Reached a monthly peak of 10th.

2006: Climbed up to 9th held it for some time.

2007: Reached 9th in January before a friendly defeat to Ghana dropped them down.

1998 was one of our lowest ranking years because of the ban that CAF imposed on us,
ranked 74th going to France '98 world cup.

Nigeria has broken into the FIFA World Ranking Top 10 during 4 separate calendar years.

i feel the super eagles were overrated in the 90s considering how they fared against their opponents. If you look at USA 94 they had all the time and space to eliminate italy but inexperience cost them. France 98, they beat Bulgaria and Spain and lost scandalously to Denmark and Paraguay. Not forgotten their humiliation by holland in the pre tournament friendly. It got into their head. They were looking forward to playing Brazil with the mindset Denmark was walkover. Meanwhile they had a very porous defence conceding goals with reckless abandon
