1. Avoid putting any business document, CV or anything that shows a different intent to travelling to the Uk for a visit in your bag/parcel. 2. Avoid collecting bags/helping any person to bring something from Nigeria to the UK (no matter who that person is). 3. Ensure you are familiar with where you are going and how you will get there and what you plan to do during duration of your stay. make sure it tallies with what you wrote on your visa application. 4. If your friend is picking you up from the airport, ask for his full name, address and tel no and ensure you write this down on a piece paper/writing pad. 5. Avoid air maroc by all means. That airline is not even fit for purpose for carrying cattles. |

Would have asked, Why would you choose winter to visit liverpool of all places? Are you going for the depression? However, since you are going for just 2 weeks, pick the earliest date in september and return asap before the nuisance weather takes over. Lawalemi: |

Lawalemi:nearest airport to Liverpool is Manchester international airport. Liverpool and Manchester are both in the North West of England. Two big cities with a large population of blacks. You would enjoy the city but be prepared for the Scouser accent. Enough said innit mate. |

Congratulations. If you are traveling on a tourist visa with what you filled on your application that you are staying in the hotel. Never make a mistake of telling the immigration at the port of entry that a friend is hosting you. They can turn it to something else for you. Get into the UK either through Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. Then, you will need to connect to Greater London to get to Euston, Kings Cross or Paddington Station to get a direct train to Liverpool City. Good luck on your first trip to UK. Have a nice stay. |

For tourism, you can go to Bold street in the city center. The best nightclubs in Liverpool are around that street. There’s a top Nigerian DJ called Gee Momo around there, you can google his current location before going. |

franvincoop:Rwanda is an amazing country. Though I won't choose their airline (flew it once. Decent but below par), the country and airline are very okay. Rwandair is cheaper than Emirates and other airlines sha. Nigeria has an incredibly long way to go. Incredibly long. |

Buy thermal wears in addition to a hooded puffer jacket for extreme cold. If you want to hustle for quick bucks doing delivery before returning to Ng, join deliveroo, better still, use the time to do research about certifications and work permits that’ll be suitable to you, in case you’d want to return for work. |

Below par compared to AirPeace or AirNigeria? Rwandair is not only cheaper but also allows you to carry 3 luggage of 23kg plus hand luggage for free. Which other airline can do that? The 3 luggage of 23 kg thus 69 kg total means a lot to those of us with large families abroad. Leaving aside dried spices and vegetables, honey, crayfish and mangala wey I carry, I still carry two fully dried goats, kilishi and ponmo enter UK, I even pay extra 100$ for the 4th luggage. U want make my aunties swear for me? No airline fit cheap pass Rwandair for travel go UK from Africa with luggage. Na UK OP dey go, no be heaven plus na im first time, make im use Rwandair Air cuz e cheap and go allow am enough luggage for carry naija goodies go share. Abeg free the OP, if OP too know im no for come online come ask this kind question, if for just go buy ticket from Swissair. PlasmaTV: |

franchasng:Royal Air Maroc is pretty messed up and they really don’t appear to like Nigerians. I stopped using them many years ago! But unfortunately they remain one of the cheapest Airlines to UK. |

franchasng:Na so that royal air maroc bad reach? Unfortunately they always have the cheapest fares along with just 1 baggage allowance. |
