Construction Progress Report – Tangaza Local Government, Gidan Madi Axis (CH+78 to CH+84)

Construction activities are progressing steadily along the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway at the Gidan Madi Axis, Tangaza Local Government Area, Sokoto State, covering Chainage (CH) 78 to CH 84.

Current site operations include earthworks, road formation, grading, compaction, and other preparatory activities in line with the project schedule. Construction personnel and heavy equipment remain actively engaged to ensure quality delivery while maintaining safety and engineering standards.

The Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway is a strategic Federal Government infrastructure project designed to improve connectivity, facilitate trade, enhance transportation, and stimulate economic growth across Nigeria. The project is expected to provide lasting benefits to communities along the corridor through improved access, increased commercial activities, and employment opportunities.

Are you equating a flyover with an entirely new road? In the very same sentence, he stated: “build roads and artery networks to really enhance the quality of life and the accessibility of the security agencies to penetrate those areas.” I believe that if the Federal Government attempted to close the Coastal Road today, it would trigger massive protests in Lagos.

Hope he wil complete the projects....it's our tax payers money he is using to do it,we don't want uncomplicated or left over projects.

Perhaps your domain or your village is too far away from any of this projects.......lagos calabar coastal road alone carries more traffic than the onitsha enugu highway,abuja,kaduna kano to you is in the middle of nowhere or zaria,funtua gusau road has nobody using it,that road alone covers more communities than than the enugu PH rd

Indeed. PBAT is doing innovatively and wonderfully well in so many socio-economic areas that are directly impacting the lives of Nigerians positively.

Insecurity is complex because many Northerners, leaders and followers, are sympathisers of banditry and terrorism.

Meaning Nigerians cannot end it until Northerners themselves commit to ending it.

The only other trouble spot is inflation that has made cost of food, transport and general daily life expense more costly.

That cannot be avoided because they are by-products of unavoidable reforms that Nigeria must initiate and abide with to begin moving towards developed nation status. I,e fuel subsidy removal, floating of Naira etc.

every body is benefitting from the tinubu administration, NELFUND was not designed for the rich but the lower and middle class, the massive road construction and other developmental projects are designed for the masses, the rich will prefer flight ✈️ to wherever they are going but this type of road development will benefit the masses more

Go into farming, produce food, and take advantage of improved access to markets. Sustainable wealth comes from productivity, not dependence on government handouts. Government is not meant to pay able-bodied youths for doing nothing.

The disparity between goods from northern state compared to Lagos is so much.
We actually need direct road like this that would ease transportation of goods and services.
