Thats the problem with the cars we all buy in the name of tokunbo cars, buying a car is beyond engine or gear quality, the shinny aesthetics and beautiful conture......tge under carriage is also as important for thorough inspection.....any dents, cracks or rusts especially the rear camber area, screws, bolts, joints all must be checked.......especially Canada cars due to excessive snow which corrodes the under carriage adversely. This thing almost killed me in 2018,tokunbo Toyota Corolla, silver colour, clean and sharp barely driven for 3 months.......I was going on cruising speed about 80 to a 100km which is what I do all the time...... sagamu benin exp way just before ofosu,we were 3 guys in the vehicle,it was a wet day......all i heard was a little bum sound immediately car seemed to be struggling with me the driver, started swerving right, left before hitting the road median......the entire front and tyres damaged, gear box, radiator, condenser all gone,we initially thought it was a tyre blow out not knowing it was the camber at the rear that broke due to excessive rust......no life lost or injured but car was badly damaged that I had to sell after repairs covered by leadway insurance, though the money took a while to come........ofosu police station DCO,nah God go punish that man after all my ordeal he still heartlessly asked me to pay 30k for police report to tender to the insurance company(just to pick up a 200 naira pen and write a 1 and 1/4 page report)......any where wey he dey make God help me whip am. |

What God can not do does not exist. Tulumbu and his APC cohorts thought they are bigger than God. Tulumbu have seen nothing, because Tulumbu wants to split our life with hunger just like this car, but God pass am. |

Omo, na real cut and join wey full Nigeria! Smh. 🤦♂️ People need to stop buying cars blindly without checking the underlying structural chassis frame. See as the car just tear cleanly like paper! No factory car splits in two like this. This is a "half-cut" vehicle crashed abroad, shipped in pieces, and poorly welded back together locally. The moment it hit high speed, that weak weld point just snapped. The driver got a massive miracle, but this is a warning. Before you buy any Tokunbo car: Don't just look at the clean body and fine interior.Carry a qualified panel beater or mechanic along. Jack the car up to check the undercarriage for hidden weld lines and fake spray. Shine your eyes! A fine exterior means nothing if the chassis is holding on by a thread. |

I don't pity the driver n the occupants at all, this is caused by over speeding. Those people talking about wielding, many cars are assembled in Nigeria so it's basic common sense to use your head The way some people drive on the road ehn, even u wey dey drive your own car go fear |

People should stop saying nothing happened to him. Those impacts can cause internal bleeding. He needs to follow up at the hospital. I have lost a loved one because of this type of statement. No scratches on his body despite the SUV somersaulted. But unfortunately, the third day, he started feeling serious neck pains only for it to get worse after that. We later discovered that he had internal bleeding and blood clotting. But it was too late. |

That vehicle might be the product of Nigerian mechanic manipulation. They wreck structural damage in the act of repairing without considering the risk factors and engineering safety guidelines. |

First of all thank God for his life. The way they say the car tear into two, one will think half went one way and the other another way. What I am seeing here is the back chasis that disintegrate with the back tyres. It didn't affect the back seats nor the driver's side. So the driver had many chances of escaping unhurt. But having said that, the driver is very lucky and needs to thank his maker |

Something similar like this happened in Ibadan at coco house few months ago. The car splited into two and the fuel tank side summersault into a bookshop stationery by the side of road and caused fire. The fire wiped out more than 40 shops. The two guys got no single scratch. May the Mercy of God be with us. |
