Yes, Stanbic want to give us hbp... All my funds are not there
BluNest regularly malfunctions, especially on payment day. It is such a disappointment for a big entity as Stanbic.
Re: Mutual Funds by Babygal2020(f): 8:05am On Aug 03
I was thinking most of us here are no longer using Stanbic IBTC. I was wrong. I no fit leave dem shaa despite their low rate.
Re: Mutual Funds by Mixology(m): 8:10am On Aug 03
I use first ally premium HYIS now, it’s 17.5 percent. The mmf is higher though, hovering around 17.5 - 17.9 .
I recommend, their service is good, instant transactions mostly
Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 9:39am On Aug 03
Most of us are still with Stanbic mmf, just that our bulk fund is no longer with them....

You get the point now..

How frequently do they compound the capital and interests? Monthly or quarterly?

HYIS is monthly, but mmf is quarterly. I chose HYIS because I top up monthly for maximum returns

Its more than 2 weeks I initiated a mutual funds redemption request from gtfundmanagers, I have sent several mails to my account manager, no response from them. who has experience reporting to sec, pls help. e come dey look like say na scam.
Avoid GTfund managers for your peace of mind.
.

I funded my mmf with GT fund managers and my account was updated after 9 days of continuous email. I abandoned the account two years ago. I discovered that they operate via app and I decided to give them a second try.

Am done with them. Gtmmf

Good morning,
Please I'm new here and I need your advice on how MMF works. If I have 5 million to invest, how much will I receive as a monthly interest ?

Newbies to MMF often think how much to earn as monthly interest is the first step when starting MMF. How about you familiarise yourself with the fund managers, ask about their onboarding and ease of use etc. While rate of return is important, what's the point of a high rate when you have to send countless mails, copy SEC, CBN(who has no business here sef) and almost copy the presidency just to withdraw your funds

Almost 3k daily depending on the fund manager tho. But you failed to ask the most important question tho which is which fund manager Is good, has good customer services etc.

They are big (currently managing about 410 billion naira assets under their mmf). Their mmf rate has remained consistently above 17%. Deposit is instant. I withdrew only once and I got credited within an hour.
They automatically send your interest to your account at the end of every quarter, so if you want to reinvest your profit, you'll have to send it back to your account every quarter. Deposit attracts 100 naira charge. Capital remains there unless redeemed.
I once sent them an email on a Sunday and they replied on that same day(Sunday) and fixed the issue, so I'm thinking their customer service can be rated high.
They've been in asset management since 1994.
They need to improve the user interface of their App, especially for stocks trading, but the App works fine.

Nice submission.

ARM's MMF rate has been lower than 17% for a while though; 16.74% today 🫠

I think the interest is reinvested if you select that option when you initiate the MMF.
