ijayalolo:His Eminence handled the irritating President the best way possible. I would have shouted at him if I was there. Dude needs some kind of jolt to.come back to reality.. Tinubu is doing everything right apart from his job! If you watched the clips from the encounter, your Tinubu was visibly agitated with the position of the Bishops. The truth irritates him.. He seemed used to being pampered. With a lot of hangers-on around the presidency, together with a platoon of exuberant ethnic henchmen who dott the corridors of Power at Aso Rock these days, a very empty Tibubu has gotten used to having his village ego massaged at every turn.. This was most probably the first time a serious group of humans will look him in the face, right their in his obnoxious office, and tell him the uncomfortable truths that he needed badly to hear. Dude was not ready for those truths. Just as Nigerians are no more ready to overlook his political/administrative shenanigans.. The reason he has to wriggle back to Irigbajii.. Sending his untrained dògz to waylay these Men of God, is the height of it. That goes to show the irredeemable mentality of an unravelling presidency. Ordering the likes of a wayward Bwalya to go after these Men of Truths, only helps to define an arrogant presidency swimming in the rivers of primordial hubris. It must stop! You, his supporters must know that no one made this man an Emperor over us. He is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and not the leader of the Oyo Empire. A lot of precious lives have been lost as a result of the avalanche of bone headed decisions made by this amorphous presidency. Thise lives are not coning back again. Tinubu needs to stop experimenting with our dear lives. If he is tired and cannot do any better, he should resign and go home to his beuriful grandchildren.. Shalom! |

owobokiri:You are not far from the truth in having somebody or people who aren't your praise singers tell you the plain truth. And also, truth is always bitter to hear and definitely, your body language will suggest it especially when all you have been hearing is sweet talk. But that said, Tinubu did not give a single wrong reply in the clips we have seen so far. Onaiyekan rather displayed his partisanship by going to the press immediately after the meeting saying such words as "They are not ready for free and fair election", So, you deduced that within a few hours of meeting, or you already have and opinion already in your mind to share with people even before the meeting. "They want to win at all cost" Is somebody contesting election supposed to plan to lose at all cost? So, it is not about the meeting itself that shows the non-partisanship of Onaiyekan (I keep mentioning his name so you know it's all about him and not the Bishops as you and your people are making it seem, he wasn't the only Bishop in that meeting) heading straight to the press after the meeting with his "already prepared speech" Even if you must go to the press immediately, A non-partisan man of God would rather say, "we have told president the truth, he may not like it but that is the reality". Did you give him recommendations to follow? then tell us the recommendations and say "we have recommended what we feel should be done, it is now left for him to follow it". Well, except if Onayeikan's recommendation is for Tinubu to make sure he loses the next election to his preferred candidate that can be saying "Yes Daddy" to him. You can debunk this by showing a single place in those clips where Tinubu said anything wrong to them suggesting that they don't want free and fair election (even if that is the truth, but he never told you that or suggested that to you), so why would you conclude that. Of course, you can't expect them not to defend themselves and fight back by sending their attack dogs after you the same way you Obi people go after anybody that dare say anything negative (even if it's the truth) about messiah Obi, same way Agbado supporters will come for your head if you say anything unpalatable about their Emperor Tinubu. That's politics once you get involved, be ready to deal with the roforofo. Thank you for your attention to this matter |

owobokiri:Your Eminence never handled any irritating President because no irritating President is at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja . The President at the Presidential Villa is the Nigerian President Recognized by The COURT of SAINTS and ANGELS before whom They are Ordained as Priest of Catholic Church. Secondly, the President Sworn to an Oath before Human beings, the Elemental Forces of the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Earth, the Air, the Waters, Fire and Spirits therein . He is recognized by the ORDINANCES of Heavens and Earth as the President of Nigeria. Nobody gets to that level except it is ordained and the Partisan Bishops cannot remove him. Spiritually, it is FAR Beyond them that is why they went to Press after a Private Interview. Spiritual Law don't answer to Partisanship because there are many unseen and unknown Priests and priestesses and elemental forces standing at the Gate of Heavens in protest. The Catholic Bishops sought a private audience with the President 7 months to election to do what? Because PETER OBI was crying about that Tinubu is hiding, Tinubu is not talking to Nigerians. Tinubu is hiding in Bunker, Tinubu should come out of his Bunker. The Catholic Bishops went to Presidential Villa on ESPIONAGE DUTY for PETER OBI to see if the President is in good health and to advise him not to CONTEST ELECTION. Is that possible? They failed woefully. The main purpose of seeking private audience with the President is to tell him not to Contest the 2027 Presidential Election. Is that possible? Now that the Bishops have seen the President and know that their message cannot be delivered I think Peter OBI can now see that the President is not hiding and not in any bunker and has stopped calling the President to come out of his bunker. Emeritus Archbishop of Lagos (Archbishop Olubunmi Okogie) , Baba Aladura Otubu, Prelate Sunday Mbang, Bishop Daniel Okoh, are clergymen that have engaged government on dialogue. Baba Okogie engaged the Military Government during IBB era. Baba Otubu of C&S Church also engaged the Military Government. We have the respectable Baba Prelate Sunday Mbang of the Methodist Church Nigeria and Bishop Nicholas Okoh of the Anglican Communion Nigeria and not forgetting Baba E.E Okon of The Apostolic Church Nigeria and Prophet Soyinka of The Apostolic Faith Nigeria. These are responsible and respectable Clergymen from the Christian fold that have engaged government at different times in the history of Nigeria. We know where they stand. Their stand is known. We now have Partisan Bishops whose candidate is known to everybody in Nigeria . |

Irony1:I agree, it wasn't private, but go back and listen to the things Onaiyekan was saying you would know this is already a prepared speech. Did they recommend anything to the president? let us know what you recommended. Did you expect him to carry out those recommendations within a few hours or days after the meeting? tell us how. But no, what Onaiyekan kept saying (which makes Tinubu to send his attack dogs after him) is that "They want to win the election at all cost" Is he supposed to lose at all cost? "They don't want free and fair election" Did the president tell you that he will not conduct free and fair election? what did you tell him to do, what was his reply to you that made you conclude that? All these utterances made it clear that Onaiyekan (definitely not all the Bishops in that room) did not come to that meeting as a non-partisan, non-partial Clergy but rather as someone with a preferred candidate who is not Tinubu, So he must expect they will come for him. Thank you for your attention to this matter |
| Re: They Wouldn't Have Insulted The Sultan, It's Because We Are Christians - Amaechi by ijayalolo: 12:08pm On Aug 05 |
Irony1:Good thing that you can see through the facade of a Tinubu supporter pretending to be neutral. I think this should make you see clearly also through the facade of a Clergyman Onaiyekan pretending to be neutral but rather is fully Partisan and non-neutral. No, he did not tell you what was discussed in the villa, he rather told you his opinion on political situations. I'm sure Tinubu never told him he would not conduct free and fair election, where did he hear that? I'm sure nobody told him at the villa that "I want to win at all cost" where did he hear that? They didn't tell him at the villa that Tinubu doesn't care about the plight of the people, that was his personal opinion. If you are obligated to tell people the outcome of your meeting then tell us what you told Tinubu, tell us his reply to you, leave the opinion for the people to conclude what they want from the conversation (that is if you want to remain non-partial and non-partisan) Thank you for your attention to this matter |

ijayalolo:Morally is Tinubu's statement that "all is fair in politics" correct? That is a very dangerous statement for a president who is preaching unity he is indirectly saying that he is prepared to incite division and set the country on fire if it helps him gain power after all he said all is fair in politics My guy you know the truth but because of tribalism and the fact that you have sold your soul you will say otherwise. |

You guys make it look as if it is the catholic bishops that were attacked for stating their opinion about the state of the nation. When the bishop make their position known, the president replied that the dark days were over and that things were beginning to get better. How is that an insult? Or is it wrong for 2 parties to disagree? On returning mission schools back to them, the president referred them back to the governors in their respective dioceses; is that also an insult? The bishops went to pass a message, and they were received. The presidency did not release any derogatory statement against them. Problem only started when Cardinal Onyaekan went on air to claim that the president wants to win by any means possible. The question is, was that the opinion of the college of bishops that went to see the president or just Cardinal Onayekan's personal opinion? How can a highly influential figure accuse a man of wanting to rig an election based on perception and not on any solid data? The only persons who replied from the presidency were Bwala, and what he said was that Cardinal Onayeikan was not speaking for all Christains (Which is true) but maybe for Catholics, since he is a catholic bishop. Is that an insult also? The other statement came from Temitope Ajayi, who stated clearly that in his personal view Cardinal Onaiyekan abused clerical privileges. He then went on to respectfully explain what transpired in the meeting and expressed shock at Onaiyekan's press statement in his interview with regards to the allegation of rigging. If Onaiyekan had stuck to the issue of people suffering or things being hard, no one would come so hard at him. it is the allegation of rigging like a politician that opened him up for dragging. He can only blame himself for that. If he had stuck to what was said and not what he cannot prove then there will be no dragging. |
| Re: They Wouldn't Have Insulted The Sultan, It's Because We Are Christians - Amaechi by ijayalolo: 3:28pm On Aug 05 |
Irony1:"All is fair in politics" In what context is that dangerous? Is it that they told him not to rig and he said "all is fair in politics"? I don't know what context he said that. And Onayeikan did not tell us that area also because it will not fit the narrative of what you people wants to hear. Tinubu that is giving people garri and rice to vote for him, is all not fair in politics? those that are receiving malt and gala, is all not fair? A catholic faithful that is following someone like Gumi around and even eating fasting food with them is all not fair? Tell me the context at which he said all is fair in politics and how it will cause division that is not there already or set the country on fire. You are right, I know the truth, but sorry, not your kind of truth. Your truth is because once you hate somebody, every of his action is bad and once you support somebody then the person can do no wrong. That is not my truth. My own truth is whether I support you directly or indirectly (The last politician I ever supported directly was Jonathan by the way), I will call you out when you err or if the situation is too shameful to call you out on, I keep quiet and just watch as others do the dragging. But I will never defend what I think is wrong which is the modus operandi of you people. Maybe it's as a result of tribalism or you have sold your soul as you said. Thank you for your attention to this matter |
| Re: They Wouldn't Have Insulted The Sultan, It's Because We Are Christians - Amaechi by ijayalolo: 3:39pm On Aug 05 |
Irony1:The madness is not what Onaiyekan did. The madness is you people expecting the president he accused of not sympathetic to the plight of the people, the president he accused that is not ready to conduct free and fair election, the president he accused that wants to rig election not to defend himself and fight back. Nobody said whoever you are calling my principal is not dubious, nobody said he has not perfected plans on how to rig the election and win at all cost. But it is madness on the part of you people to think a Clergyman who claims he is not partisan or he is neutral will come out of meeting not only him attended (many other Bishops where in attendance) and rushed to TV station to start airing his own personal opinion, once you do that, you have joined the politicking and all that comes with it. I repeat if you want to stay neutral as a clergy, just come tell us what you told the president, tell us his reply, keep your opinion to yourself. That is how to be neutral, Thank you for your attention to this matter |

Mattswaggz:some of you are just gullible. PBAT, as a private citizen, dared the so called Aso-Cabal and eventually, defeated them. Who's the sultan that, PBAT wouldn't put in his place if, he misyarns? Most of you would've been hailing Elrufai as being untouchable if, he hadn't been arrested. Now, he's been arrested and detained for over 2 months now and nothing has happened. I'm glad, even the sultan knows his limits and wouldn't trespass. |

HIGHESTPOPORI:Under obasanjo and Jonathan regime, have you heard that? You had a meeting with the President. He accords you that honour. Y'all talked in private, but you now go to the TV station to attack him. That's a very terrible attitude from a so called servant of God. The church should be careful on how it meddle in politics, so as not to become subject of ridicule. No politician should be given the pulpit to say rubbish. Servant of God should be Warned nor to take side. |
