45k not 40k
Then, I discovered 50mbps don't have much difference with the 100mbps
For MTN ODU or fibre 50 goes for 30k
For Airtel 5G ODU 50mbps goes for 25k

What are you downloading bros?

Most times when people say they need more bandwidth, it is actually better latency they need. Most times, maybe not for yours though but i suspect it is like majority.

Latency over bandwidth anytime.

Some people don't even know the meaning of ISP, bandwith, latency, MBPS.

ISP (Internet Service Provider):
Imagine the internet is like a big water park. The ISP is the company that gives you the pipe to get water (internet) into your house so you can play and watch videos online.

Bandwidth:
Bandwidth is like how wide the water pipe is. A bigger pipe means more water can flow at once. So, if you have a big bandwidth, you can watch videos, play games, and download things faster because more internet can come to your house at the same time.

Latency:
Latency is how fast the water travels from the water park to your house. If the water takes a long time to get to you, it feels slow. In internet words, latency is the delay between when you ask for something online and when it starts coming to you. Lower latency means things happen faster.

Mbps (Megabits per second):
This is a way to measure how fast your internet pipe can send data. Think of it like how many buckets of water can flow through the pipe every second. More Mbps means faster internet.

So in Short:
ISP (Internet Service Provider): The company that provides your internet connection.

Bandwidth: The maximum amount of data that can be transmitted over your internet connection at once, often described as the "pipe size." Higher bandwidth allows more data to flow simultaneously, improving download/upload speeds.

Latency: The time delay between sending a request and receiving a response over the internet, measured in milliseconds. Lower latency is crucial for real-time applications like gaming or video calls.

Mbps (Megabits per second): The unit measuring internet speed, indicating how many megabits of data can be transferred each second. Higher Mbps means faster data transfer rates.

Are u looking for Dedicated symmetric bandwidth or shared access for home use. This service can be on fiber or radio depending on your choose Plus which area of Abuja? Check https://lapariah.com/corporate-internet-abuja.html also check netfiber.ng.
Re: Which ISP Gives 100Mbps Internet In Abuja? by Kelklein(m):
I think consistency is what should matter and not the size of the speed..

In 5G areas, Airtel gives as much as 120-150Mbps.. in 4G areas, it can give as much as 89 (see attached). And this is just a normal 4G on a normal day for Airtel.

You can check your internet speed on fast.com

Actually more mbps doesn't necessarily mean faster speed because you've not accounted for throughput, the actual amount of water flowing through the pipe right now in your water analogy. If your pipe has a carrying capacity of 100L per second (mbps) and a good valve (latency) but the pumping machine (server or network congestion) is slow and sending only 40L/s then you've 60L/s of non-utilized capacity.

In realworld terms, throughput is always lower than capacity, and is therefore the most important consideration when talking about speed. No medium transfers full capacity. Even fiber-optic glass, one of the best, has degradation from absorption and reflective scattering due to microscopic glass imperfections. All mediums experience losses causing lower throughput beyond congestion or server performance: Laser losses stem from atmospheric scattering, analog cables due to Ohms Law, and radio due to harmonics and radiative inverse square law.

Having 100mbps as bandwidth is measured capacity, which is higher than actual usable bandwidth itself if throughput is taken into consideration.

Speed or latency is not my biggest challenge, it is consistency. It is becoming impossible to have a seamless service without downtimes which come unexpectedly and can last for any length of time.

Servicing multiple networks which I used to do is no longer an option as costs continue to escalate.
