Your logic is that since compensation was made this year, means the actions leading to the compensation took place this year

Can we also use the logic that compensation for EJ Carool took place this year and the action leading to the compensation took place this year

All these emotional and uneducated people that are conscripted into leftism sef
LoLz. No feather weight that's not my logic, that's the caricature you conjured in the empty space that replaced your thinking capacity.

If CURRENT employees are getting compensation in 2026 it means any discrimination they faced remained unresolved even while they were in active service ie they continue to experience the effects of whatever discriminatory actions were taken against them. Wrap that around that empty space between your ears.

You are doubling down on your nonsense reasoning.

Blacks are 13.5% of the population, yet they represent 26% in your data.

White's are 56%... From this point, try to use your brain and reason, help yourself.

Anyone can get compensated in 2026 for an offence that happened 5, 10, 20, 30yrs or 40yrs ago

The left are the most retarded people on earth

When it's time to take covid vaccine, they will trust the science, but when it's time to identify male and female, they will trust their emotions

When I read your explanation and then read raumdeuter's perspective which is almost the complete opposite of yours, I'm beginning to realise that the race issue in the U.S. is far more complex than I have always thought. It's enlightening how two people who both live in the U.S. can have such fundamentally different views of the same society when it comes to race.
Ishi, it's far more complex than even that. Here in UK, blacks of Carribbean descent view and experience racism different to us from Nigeria, in lots of cases, and even many Nigerian Brits' views' differ to those of many JapaNigerians too. Golly! Two JapaNigerians can have different views of racism.

I think it's because of different past experiences. I'd be more tuned to, or at least have a different view of racism if an ancestral ma had been defiled by massa who chained and whipped pa to work massa field, or fought the race wars of the 70-80s that got us where we can say that institutional racism still exists but it's a lot less than it used to be; than someone who flew first class on BA in 2026.

Issue in this thread is some saying somes' shoes is invalid despite knowing they are valid, is my think. Like, my feet don't hurt much so it don't count that some walked while I flew.

Systemic racism is when there are laws or institutions that intentionally discriminate based on race
There is no systemic racism in the USA where I live
There do not need to be laws or institutions that intentionally discriminate based on race for racism to be institutional. An organisation just needs to have enough racists influencing in it to be institutionally racist.

Examples are our own Metropolitan Police in a country that had laws against racism yet was institutionally racist because of the racism of many of it's members and the way it hired potential police people. Thankfully, DEI has put a severe dent in the institutional racism of the Metropolitan Police.

That said, there is indeed systemic racism in USA. Too many USAnians are racist for racism not to be systemic there, which is why USA needs DEI. And no, DEI does not mean lowering the entry standards for minorities, but just promoting the opportunity and encouraging minorities to join since there's obviously enough minorities who far exceed the minimum entry criteria.

The per capita fallacy is strong with you. Not everything can be extrapolated to per capita. For instance, meth trafficking occurs heavily in specific parts of the USA and so, you cant extrapolate the total figures or percentages it to per capita across races in the whole nation.

Worse, is that per capita skews the perfomance of smaller groups (making them larger than they really are) when there is a huge disparity

Keep denying racism.

Benalvino3, ramdeuter, basilico,

It is clear why you people are MAGA. You hate facts, truth and reality. So studies and research can show systemic and institutional racism but you people will still deny it. Please, why are your anecdotes more important than professional research?

Of course, your definition is incomplete. It is not just laws- practices, policies, and customs too by people in government and institutions.

If 40% of a police department is racist, then the department itself is racist. A law is only as good as its enforcement. A police department's policy could be to stop suspicious vehicles during the day, which is a good policy. However, a racist department will enforce that policy by seeing blacks or african american as suspicious. Can you see how a normal policy has been executed in a racist way...a systemic racist way?

There are none so blind as those who will not see. ICE is literally enforcing a systematically racist policy but to these D I M W I T S there is no systemic racism because they choose to be wilfully ignorant.

Okay, using your standard, name one police department today that has been credibly documented as institutionally racist not merely a department with some racist officers or isolated incidents.

Show the evidence that racism is embedded across its policies, practices, customs, and enforcement. Otherwise, you are simply assuming that individual prejudice automatically makes the entire institution racist.
