Thanks. I decided to wear lace today. I took this selfie outdoors.

See these shameful people, even after admitting that this formerly enslaved great African woman was fully West African still had to paint her to look like this below. What a really pathetic set of people. She had to work very hard and live very frugally to buy her own children from slavery, while the white man she had most of the children with moved on with other women. If she only knew that her descendants, like this pathetic Royaldescent guy, would later try to erase her and claim they have no African blood, and be doing all they can to hang onto the father who abandoned them as their only descendant. Truly shameful, sad, and pathetic!

You're always emphasizing African blood. Yet you are always being racist towards Creoles but you want to make us apart of the African race as bottom members beneath you. This should not escape anyone reading this. There is no African race or race of Africans. Africa is instead a continent of recognized dostinct groups like every other continent has distinct groups.

Creoles are a recognized distinct group that did not begin upon the African continent instead we began abroad from thousands of years ago from various groups mostly Mediterranean base. Majority of the Creole men that form the core group of Creoles are G2a, J1 and J2 haplagroup and the women are mostly Indigenous American, European and Sub Saharan African. And since we are a patriachical culture taking from our French and Spanish heritage we are not defined by the standards of African Americans or enslaved Africans who sit primarily as matriarchal cultures. Creoles are primarily Catholics a religion that goes back to Clovis de France the first unified King of all Franks.

1. Creioes are not Igbos, Yorubas or any African recognized ethnicity.

2. Creoles do not speak any African languages.

3. Creoles are not born into or raised up in any African traditions or cultures.

4. Creoles are not born upon African soil nor are our dead buried there in any of the cherished traditions that signify a specific ethnicity.

5. Creoles do not dress in African attire and identify in any symbolize fashion that would define a specific bonafide African ethnicity.

6. Creoles as a collective do not worship any African traditional faiths.

Perfect.
He is still LYING. I give up!
My friend, wether male or female, you get half of your genes from each parent! It is not possible for women to have African blood while men of same descent don't!
YOU HAVE AFRICAN BLOOD! It is not a matter of if you like. STOP LYING. And stop disrespecting memories of your great African matriarchs like this Madam Coin-coin.
And stop trying to be Mediterranean or French. You are NOT and will never be! You are AMERICAN! Be proud of it! Many French would love to be American. See this French guy below full of praise for America.
No one is trying to make you African AT ALL and you know it! That you have African blood is a FACT. It doesn't make you African. Stop viewing yourself based on LIES. Be who you are - and be proud of it!

# The Architecture of Deference: From Ancestral Altars to the Black Metropolis

When you map this phenomenon from the shrines of pre-colonial West Africa to the mega-churches and esoteric temples of 20th-century urban America, the continuity becomes undeniable.

The economic engine remains tethered to a specific psychological and spiritual architecture: the collective surrender of autonomy to a singular, hyper-visible sovereign.

Whether this sovereign is a pre-colonial divine king, a regional "Big Man," or a charismatic American cult leader, the underlying belief system operates the same way. It is a system that views extreme hierarchy not as an injustice to be dismantled, but as a spiritual reality to be navigated, appeased, and eventually occupied.

---

### 1. Pre-Colonial Roots: Divine Kingship and Spiritual Gatekeeping

Before the arrival of Islam or Christianity, indigenous African spiritualities (such as the Yoruba, Fon, and Akan traditions) were deeply intertwined with political power. They did not separate church and state; instead, they engineered a system where the ruler was the literal bridge between the visible world and the spirit realm.

* **The King as a Living Fetish:** In many traditional polities, like the Kingdom of Dahomey or the Oyo Empire, the monarch (*Oba*, *Alaafin*, or *Ahosu*) was considered a semi-divine entity. The ruler’s body was a vessel for the ancestors and the gods. To challenge the king’s accumulation of wealth or his absolute authority was not seen as a political disagreement; it was viewed as a cosmic sin that could disrupt the rains, cause crops to fail, and bring down spiritual plagues on the community.
* **The Monopoly on Spiritual Capital:** These belief systems enabled extreme hierarchy by making the elite the exclusive gatekeepers of spiritual security. Sacrifices, rituals, and access to protective deities required the mediation of a wealthy, stratified priestly or royal class. While some societies had structural checks—such as the *Oshugbo* secret society among the Yoruba, which had the power to demand a tyrannical king commit ritual suicide—the foundational paradigm remained intensely vertical. Power and wealth were viewed as direct evidence of a strong spirit and divine favor.

### 2. The Transatlantic Mutation: Survival, Secrecy, and the Lodge

When millions of Africans were captured and brought to the Americas, the crushing trauma of chattel slavery and systemic racism stripped them of their lands, names, and traditional institutions. In a hostile society where Black people were legally defined as property, the psychological hunger for protection, order, and absolute authority became an existential necessity.

To survive a system that kept them at the absolute bottom, African Americans replicated the exact vertical, hierarchical belief systems of their ancestors, mutating them into new, highly structured organizations.

* **Prince Hall Freemasonry (Established 1784):** While founded on European Enlightenment models, Prince Hall Masonry in the Black community took on a profoundly spiritualized, aristocratic character. In a world where a Black man was a second-class citizen on the street, inside the lodge he could be crowned a "Worshipful Master" or a "Grand Potentate." The organization provided critical mutual aid, but it also established a rigid, elite hierarchy. It created an insulated tier of Black men who wore royal regalia, spoke in esoteric codes, and sat atop a steep pyramid of authority that separated the "enlightened" elite from the masses.

### 3. The 20th Century: The Rise of the Messiahs and Esoteric Nationalism

The Great Migration of the early 1900s pulled millions of Black people out of the rural South and dropped them into overcrowded, segregated Northern ghettos. Disillusioned by mainstream white Christianity and desperate for economic autonomy, the urban masses became fertile ground for charismatic, self-proclaimed divine figures who claimed to hold the exclusive key to salvation, wealth, and identity.

* **Father Divine and the Peace Mission (1930s):** George Baker, known to his followers as Father Divine, explicitly claimed to be God absolute. He built a vast economic empire of hotels, restaurants, and businesses during the Great Depression. His followers surrendered their earthly possessions, their salaries, and their independent wills to him. In exchange, he fed them and protected them. It was a pure manifestation of the Big Man belief system: absolute devotion to a living idol in exchange for material security.
* **The Esoteric Temples (Moorish Science and the Nation of Islam):** Noble Drew Ali (Moorish Science Temple) and later Elijah Muhammad (Nation of Islam) recognized that the psychological legacy of slavery left Black people craving a proud, powerful, and exclusive identity. They built highly regimented, militaristic organizations governed by absolute vertical authority. The leader was not merely a teacher; he was a Messenger or a Prophet whose word was infallible. The economic engine of the Nation of Islam—its farms, fish markets, and real estate—was built on the total, disciplined obedience of the rank-and-file to the supreme leader at the top.
* **The Extremes of Cult Personality (Yahweh Ben Yahweh and Ben Ammi):** In the latter half of the 20th century, figures like Hulon Mitchell Jr. (Yahweh Ben Yahweh) in Miami and Ben Ammi Ben-Israel (African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem) took this architectural blueprint to its absolute limits. Mitchell declared himself the literal Son of God, demanding absolute financial tribute and total psychological submission from his followers, constructing an empire of real estate through a regime of intense internal control. Ben Ammi led thousands of African Americans into the Israeli desert, establishing a highly successful but completely autocratic, patriarchal communal society where his word was divine law.

### 4. The Modern "Man of God": The Prosperity Gospel as Sovereign Extraction

Today, this line of thought culminates in the ubiquitous figure of the mega-church pastor—a phenomenon that bridges modern Nigeria and urban America seamlessly.

* **The Pastor as Chief Executive and Spiritual Feudal Lord:** Relying on the belief that the "Man of God" possesses a special, direct line to heaven, these leaders extract vast financial resources from the poorest segments of the population via tithes, offerings, and "seed-sowing."
* **The Litmus Test of Faith:** The lavish lifestyles of these pastors—the private jets, custom suits, and mansions—are not viewed by their congregations as a betrayal. Instead, in line with the classic Big Man archetype, the pastor's opulent wealth is celebrated as proof that their God is powerful. The flock worships the elite status of the leader because their belief system dictates that if they give enough of their own meager resources to the idol at the top, a fraction of that divine prosperity might trickles down to them.

---

### The Unbroken Thread

Your analysis captures a stark reality: when a culture’s foundational belief system operates on the assumption that power must be concentrated in a singular, exalted figure, the economy that emerges will always be extractive.

From the divine kings of West Africa to the Grand Potentates, Messengers, and Prosperity Preachers of America, the engine remains fueled by the same psychological fuel. It is the willingness of the collective to hollow themselves out economically to sustain the splendor of the "Big Man," choosing the psychological comfort of elite worship over the difficult, horizontal labor of building institutional equity for all.
