Outside of that, research grants go through layers and bodies of approvals before they’re granted whether Fauci is the head of the institution or not.

Do you know how many medications you take today that were made available because of research on viruses and bacteria? It’s so steupid the way conservative ideals have robbed all of you of any common sense and ability to think about anything outside of elementary level black and white designations.

As we speak, research is ongoing on many many many viruses and bacteria. One day, another cure for a chronic condition will be developed and you guys will benefit from it without knowing the background work that went into it. But in the meantime stay online and villainize the people who spent their lives making sure you’re safe behind your raggedy keyboards.

Brittany Boltinhouse (left) of Wilmington, NC has just been stripped of her title as Miss North Carolina USA after past social media posts resurfaced, prompting widespread public criticism.

She was just weeks away from representing North Carolina at the 75th annual Miss USA pageant on August 27.

A Honduran-Mexican model, Boltinhouse had alleged been using the N-word on social media under the name Espino Sosa.

In a statement, officials from the Miss USA pageant stated: “The Miss USA Organization does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, nor language that strips any person of their dignity — whoever they are. That is not a policy written for a press release. It is the floor of what it means to represent this brand.”

Instead, first runner-up Myla Hadley (right) of Charlotte will replace Boltinhouse and immediately assume the title of Miss North Carolina USA.

Hadley will now go on to represent North Carolina at the Miss USA pageant.

A video that has now gone viral shows a young Black woman lying semi-conscious on a bed while several white women hit her, scream at her, and discuss killing her and hiding her body.

The victim has identified herself as Audrey Masarik of St. Johns, Michigan.

According to her own public statements, the incident happened in November 2025 after she was invited over by people she considered friends. She has epilepsy.

The women allegedly got her extremely intoxicated — her blood alcohol level was later measured at three times the legal limit. She blacked out.

While she was barely conscious, the women recorded themselves punching her, jumping on her, and making threats.

Audrey later said she suffered a swollen eye, facial scrapes, a large bump on her head, and rug burns from being dragged. She had a seizure at the hospital. Nurses told her family she was nearly unconscious.

Audrey has also shared that she discovered she was pregnant the day after the attack. She gave birth to a baby girl roughly two weeks before the video started spreading widely in early August 2026.

The St. Johns Police Department confirmed they are aware of the video, that all individuals involved have been identified, and that the case (originally investigated in November 2025) has been reopened.

The full file, including the video evidence, has been submitted to the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office for review to determine whether criminal charges will be filed.

No arrests have been announced as of the latest police statement. Audrey has said she is now speaking with a counselor and intends to pursue charges now that the video provides the proof she did not have at the time.
