Shafiy Adeba Says Muslims Have ‘Right’ To Enslave Non-Muslims by jmoore(op): 2:12pm On Aug 10

A Yoruba-speaking Islamic cleric, Shafiy Adeba, has sparked controversy after making inflammatory remarks advocating violence and enslavement against non-Muslims, whom he repeatedly referred to as “kafir.”

Adeba made the remarks in a video shared on his popular TikTok page on Sunday, speaking largely in Yoruba while incorporating Arabic expressions and references to the Quran.

In the video, the cleric claimed that Muslims have a religious right to fight and enslave non-Muslims, while urging the imposition of what he described as Islamic laws on them.

“Allah said fight them, enslave them, lock them inside their homes, don’t let them go to market, don’t let them go to farm, don’t let them see the sun,” he said.

“It’s the Muslim who has the right to enslave the kafir (infidel), not the other way around. Anywhere you find them hiding, seal them. That’s what Allah said in the Quran. It’s always first attack. War against kafir is rooted in Islam.

“It’s the Muslim who has the right to enslave the kafir, not the other way around.”

The cleric further warned that Muslims would face retaliation if they failed to impose what he described as laws against non-Muslims.

“What I am saying is that if you refuse to implement these laws on them, they would reciprocate with theirs on you,” he said.

“Anywhere you find them hiding, seal them. That’s what Allah said in the Quran. It’s always first attack. War against kafir is rooted in Islam.”

The term “kafir,” commonly translated as “infidel,” “disbeliever,” or “non-believer,” has different theological and contextual uses in Islamic literature. Its use by Adeba in the video was specifically directed at non-Muslims as he made his statements advocating fighting and enslaving them.

The cleric’s video was released on the same day SaharaReporters reported that another prominent Islamic cleric Sheikh Yahya Jingir called on Muslims in Kano State to support Muslim-Muslim political tickets, while urging his followers to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.

Jingir made the remarks at a campaign event for Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf tagged “Abba Go Again,” according to a video seen by SaharaReporters.

Governor Yusuf was also present at the event.

In the speech delivered in Hausa, the cleric praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for promoting a Muslim- Muslim ticket and said he remained a strong advocate of the arrangement.

"Special thanks to my (political) hero, Bola Tinubu who raised the flag of this political ideology, describing it as a purely Muslim-Muslim coalition," Jingir said.

“I am among the staunch advocates of the Muslim-Muslim ticket, and I call on you to come together for Muslim-Muslim ticket.”

Jingir acknowledged opposition to the idea from Christians and other religious groups but questioned whether his advocacy amounted to wrongdoing.

It's not a coincidence, it's a deliberate APC strategy. Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket is ageing like expired milk in the core North and even in the Southwest and the panic from the APC camp is getting palpable. More Sheikhs will be commissioned to play the religious card, but the ship has already sailed. Tinubu will only end up losing from two fronts if the APC continues in this divisive line.

1. Yes, Nigerian Christians are the weakest. Conservatism and liberalism aren't necessarily the problem. Generations of Nigerian Christians have been mind-bleeped to the point of passivity. You approach the closest one to you and explain to them what is in front of their eyes, and the next words out of their mouths would be something like, " God will ...," or "Jesus will..." These are poeple who have lost touch with reality and are watching it all happen at the same time, celebrating every time they are spared the direct result of the next chaos. They are no better than zombies.😒😒

Islam is an international political ideology - disguise as a religion - aim at conquering other people's territory, to kill the aboriginal people and to dominate them. This is evident all over the world where sharia law is practiced. And, let me bring you close to home; the northern Nigeria is predominantly Hausas, but it is very hard to see an Hausa man today as a local government chairman talkless of Governor because the Fulanis have taken over using religion.

If you say that Islamic terrorists are killing muslims also, those muslims (or mosques) bombed belongs to rival Islamic sects and/or those that do not fully support the full Islamic ideology or preach against it. And for muslims in the southern Nigeria, especially those in the southwest Yorubaland, they in the north are already telling you that you are not religiously muslim enough.

The Quran contain several passages that commands muslims to fight, kill, kidnap and terrorize non-believers and take over their land and possessions (condemning non-muslims as "infidels"wink; This is no longer a secret as these passages are available in many translations of the Quran available online. The islamists you commonly call extremists are the real muslims that follows the command of Allah.

All these fake imported religions have destroyed the normal mental processes of a lot of our people.

If you are following any of the two religion, you should know for fact that:

There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no God (or god), there is no Allah, there are no angels, there are no demons, there are no spirits, there is no life after death, juju don't work, there is no eternal judgment, there is no karma, there was no historical Jesus. All those are figment of human imaginations and tools use by a very few some to control the very many others. The earlier you understand and accept these facts as facts, the happier and merrier your life and existence will be.

The religion you're currently claiming is the religion of your parents, if you were born into a different family of another religion (say Hinduism), that is the exact religion you will practice.

You were born without a religion in you, your factory reset has no religion in it. If you were to be a phone and they do factory reset on you today being a phone, there will not be anything found related to religion in your settings, files and file systems anymore; you learn religion only after your birth growing up.

Islam is idolatry and paganism, Christianity aswell is idolatry - All the world religion is idolatry, including all the Abrahamic religion. Holy communion is idolatory, bowing for a stone call Kaaba of the Bedouin tribes is also idolatory, killing of rams is idolatory, kissing or licking of a stone at mecca is idolatory, throwing of stone at pilgrimage is idolatory too.

Infact, Illah is what the Arabic call God and not Allah. Allah was one of the diety been worshiped before the invention of Islam. That is why muslims will say something like "la ilah ila huwa" meaning Allah is one Illah (God). Have you ask yourself why Prophet Mohammed's father who was an idol worshiper and who lived before the invention of islam has Allah in is name Abdullai== Abdu Allah? It is because Allah has been an idol worshiped by paganists before the Prophet received his revelations.

Nakedly circumambulations of the Kaaba, annual prigrimage to mecca, kissing of black stone, bowing towards the stone (stone worship) are all preislamic pagan practises by the nomadic Bedouin tribe and the same is what they still practice today.

All Abrahamic religion are idolatory, they only package them well and condemn your heritage as evil, whereas, Nigeria was better in terms of morality, honesty and integrity before they brought the foreign religions.

In peace loving, emotional intelligence, love for neighbors, respect for sanctity of life, we are even better than those who brought those religion with primitive leaders and prophets whose morality and characters are highly questionable.

Release yourself today from the shackles of religion. Stop wasting away your life and existence!

If you like, allow one illiterate alfa, imam or pastor to keep telling you "you will go to hell". When you die, your dead experience will be like the same experience you had before your conception (pregnancy) ie. There is nothing like afterlife. Atheism is responsible for communism/socialiam/marxism -- the rulers(politicians who literally own everything the people give up in the name of managing it for the state) are the scammers-in-the-lords while the proletariat are their gullible sheeple--- which has killed over 100 million people in this last century alone. There is nothing peaceful about a religion that pretends to not be a religion yet imposes itself and its brand of wickedness against the will of the people, on their lives, liberties, and pursuit of happiness. Some Yorubas are saying this man is just one person and cannot change the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in Southwest, yes I agree but listen and listen very well, Shekau that started Boko Haram is one person.

Osama Bin Laden is one person.

Prophet Mohammed saw is also one person.

It is always one person that starts the message and gradually he gets followers and it spreads like wildfire.
