Have you ever seen a foreigner coming to do HND, B.SC, Masters, PGD or PHD in Nigeria? I do not mean a foreigner who already resides in Nigeria and wants to school here. I mean a foreigner that applied from their own country or outside Nigeria but wants to school in any Nigerian Higher Institution.

Yes they do. I used to know a Kenyan studying history and international relations.
Nowadays when I think about it, I wonder what he intended to do with the course.

Some of us are into unemployment and sometimes agriculture nowadays 🤣

Citizens of other African countries usually come to Nigerian institutions to study. I personally know many Ghanaians, Ethiopians, South Africans, Liberians etc.

But anytime you see the western oyibo Caucasians in our institutions, just know that they are here to learn things that have to do with our indigenous languages, practices, culture, spiritual knowledge etc.

Many of African national students, Europeans and Americans are studying across Nigerian universities.

Why not. Quite a number of Europeans come for exchange studies. They take programs in cultural sciences or disease epidemiology. Literature studies, art etc

German , Brazilian do come to study Yoruba language in OAU and UI
Including Gambians, Sierra Leone, Liberian.
I know a Liberian who came to study medicine in Uniilorin.
Gambian to study law.

Some do. I’m certain some from first world countries come to Naija on exchange programme. The aim is to learn your language now and teach your children the same language at an astronomical fee in future.

Maybe in the 70s,80s and early 90s. Boulos family attended UI in the 80s

Have never seen. All through my years in school. The system is questionable environment like hell. Bribing and molesting female students is there top priority. Nigeria need revolution the system has nothing to write about. I regrets spending those years in school. Yahoo Con better pass Nigeria school certificate.

In the 80s they used to come. But now, we don't have facilities to host them

Yes they do. During my days in ABU I use to have some Chadian guys as my neighbours off campus and also some Lebanese guys that were in faculty of environmental science.
