Good day, fellas. I want to share some facts about the gifts of healings.
1. It's called the gifts(plural) of healing because there are different kinds of gifts of healing and you should be sensitive enough to know the kind you operating on or the type of illness you are gifted to heal.
2. It's the gifts of the HolySpirit and not your gift. I hear some saying my gift, Oga, it's not yours.
3. The gifts of healing doesn't automatically make one free from having personal health issues, yes. A person with the gift of healing is not immune to sickness or falling sick unlike what many people assumed and see people with a genuine gift of healing falling sick as fake.
4. The gifts of healing function with the faith in God from the minister and the receiver. Doubt from the minister or/and the receiver could hinder the healing.
5. People with the gifts of healing do not always see people heal all the time but they achieve more success in the gift.
6. A Christian without the extraordinary gift(grace) of healing may heal the sick too but he may not be as successful as the one with the gift of healing.
7. A person can or may lose his/her healing if he/she go back to sinful ways or to the world.
8. The gifts of healing are not that easy to demonstrate because it takes lots of courage to do so. Even Jesus asked those people who seek healing for their, "Which is easier to do? To say your sins are forgiven or rise up and walk".

No, it means they don't believe that He could heal them. For healing to be received, the receiver must believe or have faith in God through the vessel God is using.

Fath is a channel through which we receive from God. It's not that God is not powerful or that Jesus was miraculously powerless. It means the receiver's channel is blocked. Heaven is sending but the receiver is unable to receive. Those are two different things. You are asking a question that shows how ignorant you are about the Scriptures and the dynamics of faith:

What healed the woman with the issue of blood was not her touch but her faith. Many people were thronging Jesus but they were not healed. The only person who got healed in that crowd was that woman who ventured the touch of faith. Jesus said to her ", daughter, your faith has healed thee."

The receiver's faith is very important. That's why healing evangelists always preach faith first before praying for the sick. They'll ask you, do you believe? Because if you shut your door through doubt, God will not force it open. Many are unable to receive miracles because of this.

If you go to Jesus for healing, that's already an action of faith.

Doubt is the obstruction. And infact, it's a sin.

A dead man has neither faith nor doubt, God can act on him as he can on only other none living objects. Did the clay need to have faith or doubt for God to a man of it?

The fact that God does not do any miracles among you indicates that God is not with you!

Healing the sick and raising the dead are two different things. Raising the dead is another dimension. It's classified as wonders or miracles. Although we also have the miracle of healing. In raising the dead, the faith of dead is inactive but it's the faith of the minister that raises the dead through prayer and faith in God. Raising is even tougher because it takes courage or strong faith in God to do so.

I have witnessed live healings and miracles. That they don't happen in your church or you don't believe in them doesn't make them fake. I know there fake healings and miracles but there are genuine ones too.
