[quote author=Image123 post=140352971]This is a lot of tears in one post. Majoring on minors. Go to court.
Or save your money and read the constitution.

Section 131 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) states that a person is qualified to run for President if, among other requirements:
“he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.”

Any sane person knows that a B.Sc is MORE THAN sufficient in this case. But your fellow content creators will use stolen money to carry you on a jolly ride to Supreme Court level to interprete this simple and clear English. Then you'll wail about how the judges have been bought and are being controlled. You obviously went to school but school didn't go through you.

Is there any normal person that will interact with Mr President and conclude that he's not educated to O'level? Common.
The definition includes:
a Secondary School Certificate or equivalent;
a Grade II Teacher's Certificate;
a City & Guilds Certificate;
education up to Secondary School Certificate level;
and, under specified conditions, even a Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent, coupled with qualifying work/service experience; and
other qualifications acceptable to INEC under the constitutional definition.

They said a job is for minimum 35 years. Someone says he's 50 years. You're insisting on seeing his 35 years birthday cake. SMH.

What a pathetic state of reasoning!!!.
It's a known axiom in law that "YOU CAN'T STAND SOMETHING ON NOTHING "......so pray tell us IF not for the FORGED GCL CERTIFICATE, who would have accepted him in the RICHARD DALEY'S that he graduated as a TRANS?. this is assuming he's the owner of the result.
Honestly you guys could be recruited to defend the DEVIL THAT TEMPTED YOU INTO BIGOTRY!!!🤪🤣😜

With all this your explanation,so why is Tinubu suddenly not bold enough to submit his Primary and Secondary School credentials? At least that of Secondary School.

Typically, everyone is proud of his or her Secondary school experience of life journey.
Errmmm, because he doesn't need to submit them. These are not emotions or about how proud you feel, they are constitutional requirements/thresholds to be met. When you carry this mindset with your candidates to courts, it will fall flat as usual because the law doesn't depend on your emotions.

Under the same Nigerian constitution you quoted, Nigeria operate a 6-3-3-4 educational system, which is 6 years of Primary education, 3 years of Junior secondary education, 3 years of Senior secondary education and 4 years of tertiary education. What this means is that you cannot jump 6, jump 3, jump 3 and enter 4 under Nigerian constitution. Our educational system is progressive, meaning you finish one and progress to the higher one, you cannot skip basic and foundational education and jump to tertiary, it is not done in any nation on earth, that is why every tertiary institution must ask you to present your Primary and Secondary/High school educational proof before they can offer you admission, so Tinubu used forged Secondary school certificate to gain admission into the kiniko university he said he finished from in the US.
Ermm, this is not a tertiary institution, it is the constitution and INEC requirement, educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent, qualifying work/service experience; This is the constitution, not your dream school or place of work.

No Nigerian government or private institution will accept your tertiary educational qualification without you presenting your foundational academic qualifications which is Primary and Secondary. No international organization or institution too will accept that from you as a Nigerian because they know the system of education we operate as a nation.
Speak from a position of knowledge please, not ignorance and supposition.

Tinubu is supposed to be automatically disqualified.
Evidently, you're been emotional and not logical here.

Also are you aware that Tinubu submitted forged Secondary school certificate to same INEC in 1999 when he contested for Lagos state Governor? Because then he submitted and stated that he attended Government College Ibadan which was later discovered to be lies, so he now decided to remove that forged educational record. That is an automatic disqualification.
You'd need to take him up on that in a competent court of law. This is 2006 and we are talking about the 2027 elections.

For your information, the equivalent of higher educational qualification stated in that constitution you quoted is for military educational qualification
Explain this English to the courts or your English teacher if less expensive.

you are only being clever by half, even Shell, Chevron and most IOC or any reputable organisation would require you input your FSLC, WAEC and others in your CV and present the certificates, The BSC at CSU, what credentials did he use to gain the admission, or he was just admitted without secondary school or college diplomas.
We all know he is hiding too many details of the past, but the opposition are not doing enough to expose this shits
They should press him, and go back to every organisation he worked so that his past details could be unraveled. Tinubu is so lucky that Gani Fawehinmi is late, he would take it seriously on him.
You forged secondary school certificates to gain admission into a universities and you are hiding the details.

Inec should publish all.the records Tinubu has submitted in the Past elections, certificate forgery is a big crime and all of us should frown at it.
Well, this is not Shell, Chevron and most IOC, this is the constitution. Be reasonable. That your CV contains your religion, state of origin, date of birth, place of birth, hobbies and whatever other funny thing doesn't mean everyone must follow the same format, neither does it make it a requirement for all organisations.
The constitution is clear, a person is qualified to run for President if, among other requirements:
“he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.” Obviously someone that submits anything higher or equal is qualified. There is NO requirement to submit ALL your academic qualifications in the constitution. The opposition already know this, except anyone has stolen money to carry you on a jolly court ride to nowhere.

Are you sure you are OK at all, is this what you will explain to your kids if they ask you why that baba cannot provide his school records? You will tell them it does not matter as far as the baba has a university degree? A degree you know cannot be obtained without certain prerequisites?
Anyway no wahala, we know values, morals of the average Nigerian has been so eroded it is zero.
My kids don't ask foolish questions, and they're probably minding their business most times. You can go ahead to explain it to all the kids in your neighbourhood if you think it will aid your purpose in life.

Putinofrussia:
No, it is not mandatory to submit all your school certificatees to INEC. Under the Nigerian Constitution, a candidate is only required to meet the minimum educational threshold, which is education up to at least the School Certificate level or its equivalent.

Section 131(d) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) specifies that a candidate only needs to show they have been educated up to a School Certificate level or its equivalent".

Courts and judicial precedents (including interpretations by the Supreme Court) have established that possessing and submitting a higher qualification such as a university degree or equivalent tertiary. credential,satisfies and surpasses the minimum requirement, making the submission of primary and secondary certificates optional.

Candidates are legally permitted to leave primary and secondary school certificate columns blank or unattached on their nomination forms as long as they provide valid proof of meeting or exceeding the baseline educational qualification.
This is crap..

Since the minimum qualification is secondary school level, it makes your secondary school certificate a prerequisite..

In a country where certificate forgery is common,nINEC would be failing terrible if it cannot insist on candidates presenting that minimum qualification.

So what happens if a candidate has no school cert and goes ahead to forge documents to get a degree at Harvard.

Does that candidate qualify?

CAPTAL NO.

So any candidate can present whatever they like, if you like present MSC but there must be a record of that prerequisite School cert with INEC.

Don't confuse us here!

Just like you want to get a job at Shell. And Shell says minimum is a Bachelor in Engineering.
You go ahead and present MSC in Engineering without showing your B Eng cert.

You think an international organization like Shell wouldn't disqualify youhuh

Re: 2027: INEC Explains Missing Tinubu School Certificates by epainos: 6:21pm On Aug 16
Go read my posts and you will see i dont support any of the criminals running for the aso rock seat. Tinubu, Atiku, Kwankwaso, and Obi are all thieves. Yep.

However, lets be real here. There is no law that says tinibu MUST present primary & hig schools. And it is of a FACT he went to school in the US. It has been confirmed.

So, lets be real here. Its all about integrity. What he did is what over 90% of parents do for their kids. If you dont do it, they will even insult you.

What happened? This is the story that seems true. I may be wrong but it seems to be the truth. The man came from nowhere and was lucky to live with a wealthy family in Lagos. And he used the credentials of one of the kids to travel abroad. According to the story we heard, thw kid died and instead of wasting it, he used it. I am.sure everyone that heard the story then would hav3 congratulated him. Even everyone crucifying him now would have said...God was on his side.

And the man performed well in the univeristy. It probably means that he attended both primary and secondary schools in his old original names.

So, it is identify theft, but people saw no bad in it. The same way we dont see any bad in almost every bad things we do. Identity theft vs looting public fund, which is worse? Even Dino too dey talk. Lol.

Nigeria is gone. No conscience anymore. 90% of you here used expos to pass one of your exams, especially JAMB.

Do I support this? Nope. I am just saying that Nigeria is so damaged. And just imagine, people who do worse are talking cos Tinubu's own was exposed. And Gani Fawehinmi did the job.

Gani...keep resting in peace.

GOODLUCK to everyone..

The question I want to ask INEC is this..

If the application is to be done online in your portal and fields for primary and secondary school were left unfilled, would that application proceed to 'submit'?

The answer is 'No'.

It is in the best interest of Nigeria and our electoral process to reject that submission for incomplete documentation..

Tinubu is applying to be president of Nigeria, Nigerians (his employee) are asking him to simply submit his complete CV in his application for the job in accordance with our constitution.

Incomplete resume should be thrown out to the thrash, just as many employers do to Nigerian graduates..

If you are a graduate and you are supporting this Tinubu's fraud, you should be ashamed..
Why are you guys wasting your time on this matter. This is a man that has gone through the same process to become the president. He's still the president as we speaks. All the legal proceeding that has been instituted against him in the past and prior to 2023 elections couldn't stop him from becoming the president even the one instituted against him outside the country never prevail against him...now this is another opportunity for Atiku and the likes to waste their hard earned money on litigation that wouldn't see the light of the day. UNa no dey tired..since 1999 when you pursue someone without catching up then you pulse and reverse...

with all due respect sir, you are a hypocrite. When seeking for a position as a manager in a bank, you would be required to have at least a masters degree in management science. Does it mean the candidate would be accepted as the manager if he presents only his PhD? Have u ever filled a form of educational background where your primary and secondary school is not required up to your highest qualification? INEC is currently recruitiing and they required academic requirements including primary and secondary schl certs. Why didn't they just collect only Degree certs leaving the proceeding certificates before the degree. Hypocrite

It's not your regular place of work or office requirements, it's the constitution. Carry this same emotional drama to court and come back crying that the judges are bought. And yes, there are jobs that don't ask for your primary and secondary school certificates, or religion, state of origin and others that you seem to be used to. Some jobs only need to hear your reference, some your experience and capacity.
