Who pass you don pass you, no matter the obstacles. Osun state is actually filled with revolutionaries. If there will be a change in power through the ballot in 2027, Osun is the inspiration. After all, it's a state that is hosting the Source.

I just saw Obj's thread saying Adeleke should continue with the good governance.

Hahaha, Adeleke didn't win based on good governance but politics.

He probably had a secret deal with president Tinubu while the likes of Omisore, Baba Akande might have been carried along.

You see that Oyetola heh, make I no dey talk too much about him make it no be like say I get personal issue with him

Ok. This is good.
Governor Adeleke should continue hitting the ground running because to whom much is given, much is expected.

Adeleke had a strong outing in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. The Aso Villa Bandit is from the aforementioned LGA.
APC-60.9%
A-38%

See the difference despite voters disenfranchised 🤷‍♂️.

Tinubu has been rejected by the gods.

Even in Iragbiji cool grin

This is a good development. Most of his votes came from APC members who were disgruntled with the overbearing attitude of Oyetola and the unnecessary use of federal might against Adeleke. As a matter of fact, the APC members in my area mobilised heavily to vote for Adeleke. If you want to know or have an idea of what Tinubu is going to get in Osun State, just add the Accord and APC votes together. NDC is practically not existing anywhere other than Seun's Nairaland and Seriake Dickson's sitting room in Abuja cheesy. Let me see how they are going to win the Presidency

APC people say "now APC didn't win, shebi it's not rigging? But when they win it's rigging right?"

The spoiler is that APC cannot actually win without rigging.

So , now that dey claim jagaban who champion and fought for democracy with others is from Osun, and contesting in 2027, how far? Exactly the way Adeleke got votes based on work he did in the State and no one is hungry in Osun, is same way jagaban will get votes in Nigeria based on the wonderful work done and appreciate by Nigerians and governors that received higher allocations on behalf of their States, as a result of favourable policy.

If Adeleke govern under Buhari allocation, he will not have this kind of support.

APC 12 years in Osun was ₦450B while Adeleke 3.5yeras is₦650B so far

Most of the votes did not come from apc rather it came from his pdp that followed him to accord..apc rejected him from joining them..apc already had their own vote too., they tried but he is one step ahead of them

13 LGA in a state with over 10 tertiary universities stamped an illiterate to become governor!

No wonder Osun state is the most backward state in Southwest.

So, 3ate using result of a single state to judge what will happen on 36 states?

The seyi makinde factor MAY cause hom to lose Oyo state and the obedient factor may affect him in Lagos. The Igbo factor MAY affect him in southeast and the kwankwaso factor MAY affect his votes in Kano state. What of the other states?!

Don't forget that I said MAY since many Igbo politicians are drumming support for him now. Don't also forget that Adeleke won by a narrow margin!

Re: The 13 LGA Where Adeleke Got High Votes In 2022 Gave Him More Votes In 2026 by Eriokanmi:
Very nice analysis. Adeleke is a nice man. What happened was simple.

In every election, there are different categories of voters. There are doubting thomases, who are mainly undecided voters. They may or may not vote at all. Once they realised you were able to prove them wrong on their perceptions about you, they'll vote you if you choose to re-run. There are also sympathisers, those who feel you're being unjustly profiled or dealt with by a group of people, a faction or an opposition. We also have the believers, those who trust you'd do better, if elected based on what you told them. There are also loyalists, those who believe in you, whether you're doing good or bad.

All the above worked in Adeleke's favour The last category of voters (the loyalists ) are the ones who would vote tinubu next year. He's failed even those who voted him cos they believed him based on what he claimed he could do if elected ahead of 2023 election

Set awon voting doesn't count anymore as they'd rig the election, hope you all saw what happened in the last Saturday's osun election in which people rode okada behind their ballot to the collation centre. I'd urge you jettison this mentality and rigging hope, cos it won't work next year. Argue this later.

Extreme hardship in the land + insecurity are Tinubu’s biggest enemies going for reelection, and Osun loss has made people to realize they can stand against government agents and win.

Osun people stood against threats to K!ll Adeleke supporters, and they even murdered one or more of his supporters but people didn’t cower, excessive vote-buying and so on.

Talk less of the North where there can be violence so politicians don’t try to use force on voters especially for a non-Northerner.

How can you campaign for Tinubu in the North and force a Northerner to vote for Tinubu over Atiku? If voters could dare you in your own backyard SW and win, what about the North?

Already, Kwankwasiyya used the Osun template in 2023 and got Kwankwaso almost 1 million votes so it’s not new. Osun simply reinforced that it can be done nationwide.

Now what do you think will happen in Edo, Rivers etc?

Tinubu is cooked after Osun loss.
