I rather put my hope on a dog with broken leg to win a race than put my trust on the new people to effect any meaningful change. Every successive leadership in all areas of this country always seem to be worse than their predecessor that i really dont care what they do any longer. Emilokan will replace Gusau with his own corrupt people. That was why i didn't care when i saw that Gusau wanted to seek for reelection. pinnick left and the situation didnt change at all. We are still having issues of players missing trainings just to force the leadership to pay match bonuses. In Pinnick's time we were missing qualification to Consecutive Afcons, now we are missing qualification to consecutive world cups. The situation is getting worse than before.

I believe a real soccer lover will emerge this time.

Samuel Tochukwu comes from a renowned academy in the Nigerian capital Abuja. The 19-year-old midfielder has experience playing at the top level in Nigeria, and has over time proven himself for his YFUM teammates at Ekeberg.

Among other things, he was on a training stay at the club earlier this year, where he made a very good impression.

– He has made a very good figure here with us. He has a solid physical package with good speed, high intensity and duel strength, but is also very good at positioning himself and contributing in the offensive game, says sports manager Daniel Fredheim Holm.

An exciting player
Samuel has signed a contract that extends until 2030. Fredheim Holm does not hide the fact that this is a slightly different recruitment path than the club has traditionally chosen, but believes the potential is great.
