Femi Azeez named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season 2025/2026

https://x.com/PFA/status/2092322629835215095?s=20[/quote]I am still wondering why premier league teams are not coming for him. He need to force for a move. In my own opinion Yohanna is simply a difference class to him. Yohanna is on his way to becoming Nigeria best or second best player in 2 years time. Chukwueze can be inconsistent but to me is more talented than him. I think he can displace Bashiru. Make no mistake about it, Bashiru is very underrated on this forum. I think he is a very good player. There is a reason he is a starter at Lazio. I just can't see him displacing any of the three players mentioned above playing in the championship for that right winger and 10 position. He is a good player, I have a feeling that Eric Chelle will find a place for him in the SE once he makes that move.

For us to continue to improve and advance I really think Ndidi time in the national team should be coming to an end now. Nnadi, Akinsanmiro, Onyedika and Yusuf are definitely ready to takeover the baton. Ndidi is just not the player he once was. Getting benched in Besiktas all but confirmed it. Ndidi should just go chop the Arab oil money and clean mouth. We really need to start building the supereagles around top quality veterans that will still be around for 2030 like Iwobi, Oshimhen, Lookman, Bassey and then up and coming talents that are going to get better with time. Moses Simon, Ajayi, Ndidi, onuachu, Sanusi, and the rest should hopefully bow out from the national team with a title or medal after next year Afcon for the yound bloods.

The players you mentioned are not still close to Ndidi as far as the DM role is concerned.

We had osimhnen that Chelsea were interested in 2 years ago and possibly arsenal now. All he has to do is reduce wages but Nigerians are encouraging to remain at not not realizing that osimhen has more to lose by playing at Turkey than big clubs for purchasing. These yes-men doesn't realize that if you're in peak physical condition, you can always generate Millions of Dollars at lower level league in your latest 30's. The same nonsense that okocha did playing at Fenarbache at his prime instead of much bigger club
Do not worry, when it gets to your turn you can reduce your wages.

Ndidi is starter i understands it but Nnadi and Akinsanmiro will definitely be better than him by 2030. Nnadi and Akinsanmiro best football are ahead of them the same can't be said about Ndidi. I am big fan of Ndidi. I once rated him among the top 8 Defense midfielders in the world. Leicester city ran him to the ground. Injuries has taken it toll on him due to the overload they subjected him to. Ndidi is a very smart man and he himself knows he is not what he used to be and if the right money comes from the Arabs he will go secure his future. Wilfred Ndidi was a beast of a DM in his prime.

Watch that pass to kickstart Chippa's move that led to their goal.

None of the players you mentioned are prime candidates for the role, especially Akinsanmiro.
Nnadi is fantastic, but not a better DM.

John Otomewo of Reims is a midfielder that has shown a better promise especially in the DM role.
Tim Iroegbunam is also a good candidate but has he agreed to play for us, even at that I still prefer a 19 year old John Otomewo.

They aren't a bottom half Bundesliga team so that's as good as it gets for a player like Moffi who couldn't nail a starting position at Porto.

They are a bottom half bundesliga team
They finished 13th last season
Struggled relegation some part of the season
Spent 7 seasons in the second division before they finally came back last season

Bello is already a full American international. No longer eligible. Adeniran has not debuted yet for USMNT but he is strongly on their radar. CBS Golazo USA even cited his performance. So I know them but chose to focus on the one for us, Moses Usor.

The Abdul Abdulmalik transfer saga rages on... Boreham wood chairman don talk. 1.5M pounds fron Djurgardens IF for Malik turned down (a record for the National League ooo) but time tells...

🚨 BREAKING: Boreham Wood chairman Danny Hunter has issued an update on the Abdulmalik transfer situation in his programme notes for tomorrow's game.

Hunter says he feels he must “stand up to outside noise, to see passive-aggressiveness for what it is” - and says recent press leaks “are unhelpful to all concerned as they unsettle the player unnecessarily and just add to the noise, the me, me, me culture and poor behaviour.”

On Abdulmalik’s current situation, Hunter says:

🗣️ “Abdul is refusing to train with us or play, though he is still very much our player and has two years left on his contract.”

Hunter says Abdulmalik has “downed tools” and adds:

🗣️ “If I was a betting man, and I’m not, I would expect, when the transfer window closes next Tuesday, that an unhappy Abdul will still be with us.”

Hunter says the club’s valuation has already been reduced by £350k, but the door remains open:

🗣️ “If the buying club wants to agree the add-ons and finalise a transfer agreement, then let’s get on with it, as I’m ready and waiting.”
