Truidstarr:My point,FIFA doesn't care about how Eguavoen salary is being paid,NFF due to lack of funds, decided to use little out of FIFA grant for his salary. |

EElopa:It has never happened in the history of our football that in a year our two main national teams failed to qualify for FIFA World cup in 2026 & 2027. Fanny Amun's Fact finding committee mentioned undeserving players paying bribes to coaches and board members just to play for the NT. It stated: “Allegations of Board Members, NFF Management Staff and Coaches taking incentives to compromise decisions in the build-up to national team camp invitation.” The disorganization in NFF is so terrible that the U20 Falconets will be going to the world cup without their captain - Joy Igbokwe, Faridat Abdulwahab, Kindness Ifeanyi. |

My Joy over the Resignation of this NFF Board is the Male U20 national team. For a decade and more coaches from a certain part of the country have been foisted on the U20's like its their birthright. |

Tinubu tried for this one, He should also ask the normalisation committee to look into NFF statutes, otherwise the right person won't still be voted in. |

opes:For now I don't know if that's the plan. All my post concerning this NFF and the board been sacked has come to pass because I'm getting my information directly from someone that works with the president...an SSA. If there is any news concerning who would head the harmonisation committee, I will still post it here. But, Fashola name was mentioned at a time to help salvage and bring good governance to the NFF, I don't know if he agreed to it because it would be a downgrade for him. |

Napoleon55:They will and if there's need to alter the NFF act by the national assembly, Akpabio and Abass are there to alter and pass the bill within 2 weeks. |

Odunayaw:Even when the foundations are bad, some are still trying to do well but Gusua never did... He never envisaged such a day would come when a higher power would requests accountability from him. Gusau was totally clueless and he will be regarded as the worse administrator to ever head any public or private institutions in Nigeria |

Funny how the country as a whole decided that the super falcons not qualifying to the world cup was too much to take that we ensured that heads had to roll to atone for this trasvesty. Even the super eagles missing 2 straight world cups did not generate this much motion. |

Sugarboyy:That will be very good. Any act that enables outsiders like Emenalo and other well-meaning football experts, ex internationals and football knowledgeable individuals to be voted into power should be seriously encouraged. But since we like to copy England, why have they not copied how England constituted their own board all these while? |

🚨🇳🇬 Adidas is set to become the new kit supplier for Nigeria starting in 2027! The contract with Adidas will bring in $4.5M/year in cash to the federation. The German brand will also provide $4M/year in equipment for the various national teams. 💰 The NFF will also recover 20% of the sales made by Adidas in the stores. |

Amedino99:Super Falcons alone not qualifying is not the only reason but it's the trigger for the accumulated failures by this board. Though SE is much more important, but super falcons not qualifying is so unusual, plus U20 and U17 back to back miss, this board failures is to take since the president has the power to do something about it. |

The NFF failed spectacularly gutting the heart out of our football yet he had to be pressured to resign. Typical black man behaviour. What a race! At the last world cup, Saudi Arabia,a nation without any football pedigree failed to qualify for the second round. Their FA chairman honourably resigned before the team returned to the country. The same thing with South Korea. Black man will never resign. And it's all because of the fact that we are a multi ethnic nation because I know deep down Gusau feels he's representing northern interest. Well, he and his board are gone. That's one side of the coin. The other side is the incoming board. Will they perform? I doubt. Because since I started following Nigerian football from Omehia to Maigairi to Lulu to Pinnick, all effed up one way or the other. Me, I've concluded that black man does not know how to govern. Sounds harsh but it's my opinion. I pray I'm proven wrong sha with respect to football administration in Nigeria. |

opes:You don't know Tinubu, I keep saying he is not Buhari that never knew what was happening around him. If Tinubu likes you, you will be reporting directly to him even if you have a senior in the ministry where you work. Fashola will be reporting to Tinubu directly and not even to gbajabiamila. |

Napoleon55:They haven't copied England all these while because they know that they are not the best and if they copy the English ways, they will never get to the position that most of them at the NFF got to. Imagine Galadima, Maigari, Sani Lulu, Pinnick and now Gusau were once NFF president. If it was a private company, none of them deserves to be appointed as the company CEO. |
