Early days but Chuks is really shinning at Milan. I hope he can have a consistent campaign with them |

Chukwueze was outstanding yet again. No goal, no assist but he created 3 chances including 2 big chances, won almost all his duels and especially stopped Akor Adams on 2 occasions. Akor Adams had one crack at goal and showed good holdup abilities upfront. Milan defenders did struggle a bit against Adams' power and holdup play but he did not see much goalmouth action despite registering 6 touches in the opposition box (Joint highest in the game). TheSuperNerd:Akor Adams showed solid holdup plays and tried to cause problems for Milan but was overall subdued by the combined efforts of Gila, De Winter, Pavlovic and even Chukwueze. Samuel Chukwueze on the other hand dropped another MOTM showing. Goncalo Ramos won Serie A Official MOTM but Chuks was MOTM according to 3 major stats sites... Sofascore, Whoscored and Fotmob.

Samuel Chukwueze's talent has never been in question. Mikel, Enyeama, Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen are truly the only Nigerian-born elite talents we have produced since our golden generation of the 90s. When I evaluate a player, there is one single thing that I particularly pay every close bit of attention to, and that is the technicality of the player. I always ask myself this question. If Nigeria is playing France, for example, what players can I comfortably honestly say are just as talented technically as the French boys? We used to have players at that level in the 90s, and we need to get back to that level. Currently in the Super Eagles, we have Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Ola Aina, and Calvin Bassey. These 5 players I mentioned here are players; when they are on the field, they are not inferior players to any opponent they will come across. We have some potential talents coming up that can get to that level in 2 years. For now, I can comfortably name Benjamin Fedricks and Zadok Yohanna. I am still a little bit hesitant to put Tochukwu Nnadi and Akinsamiro at that level. I need to see more from these lads. They are both extremely talented, but I need to see more to comfortably put them in that category. This is why I am really excited about the 2030 World Cup cycles. If the NFF can for once just do the right thing, we can mount a serious challenge in 2030 like we did in 1994. Sometimes I always go back, and I will be watching the 90s Super Eagles. I am still amazed at how technical every single one of those players was. We need to get back to that level, boys. |

UncleHaba22:I just came here to talk about this only to see ur comment. Sincerely the whole thing was an eyesore, even the picture quality of the broadcast was blurry. Then the stadium. Is that what billion of Naira was spent on renovating? Everything about that stadium is unsightly. If you're renovating an old stadium pls endeavor to bring it up to modern standards in terms of design and aesthetics. Upon the billions spent on the stadium it still couldn't pass CAF standard test forcing 3sc to look for alternative home ground for their continental campaign so what's the use? I just hope Enugu state government comes up with something good with the on going renovation of the NA stadium. |

Nomyth:Billions was spent on that stadium in 2021 for its renovation, too bad they couldn't maintain it. The pitch was really stressed last season, about 4 clubs (3SC, Remo Stars, Pacesetter Queen and briefly used by Crown) were using the stadium at a point.. |

UncleHaba22:Inasmuch as several people can be blamed here and there and there needs to be more improvement, but you guys need to understand that for now, the league cannot afford quality broadcast. Previous agreements from Supersport to red strike media and the likes all failed due to financial losses. To run the broadcast sustainably you have to start somewhere cheap if not you won’t be able to sustain it. Tbh I was somewhat happy the broadcast was cheaply done, meaning that at least they know where things are financially. When red strike came back then with all the cameras and commentators I just knew this was not financially sustainable. |

JohnBullMySon:This is where we need more private sector investment in our league... It's the only way out.. IMO, for the league to be sustainable, we will need to pump in billions of naira and endure a few years or maybe a decade of financial loss before we can start making real profit.. But the question is which investor will be willing to take that risk? |

You know the Nuances so dont act like you dont, in the name of subtle sarcasm. No way a player from Iraq breaks into the Super Eagles. Maybe if Iraq someday becomes a top non-euro league. Far more decent players in same position (CB) in Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Norway, and even the English Championship are struggling to smell invite, na Iraq you dey make case for? Right now? Abeg, no be everything we dey joke with. AndSunGorilla: |
