What many don't seem to understand is that preaching the Gospel of Jesus has always been a risky thing, so being arrested, persecuted, or even killed for preaching the Gospel outdoors isn't a new thing.

It happened during the days of the apostles and early Christians, as they were persecuted and some of them were even killed for this purpose but that didn't stop the preaching and spread of the Gospel of Jesus.

I myself suffered persecution, and had been arrested and beaten by policemen 25 years ago for preaching the Gospel of Jesus on the streets, but it didn't stop me because I am still doing same up til date.

So if they think they could stop the preaching or spread of the Gospel by persecuting, arresting, beating, fining street preachers, they're only deceiving themselves.

Because not even the gates of hell could stop the preaching and spread of the Gospel of Jesus in this world.

Even Jesus Himself was persecuted, arrested, beaten, and even killed for preaching the Gospel, and Jesus said a servant cannot be above His Master, so what's the big deal in His servants suffering the same fate?

The hope and joy of His true servants isn't tied to the things of this temporal world but the things of the eternal Kingdom of God.

Two wrong does not make a right. As much as the muslims do that doesn't mean christains should do that.

As a preacher you can hand out pamphlets, you can approach individuals to talk with them about Jesus but standing on the sreet corner with microphone or shouting at people is not preaching Jesus it is consisting a nuisance.

Even Jesus said give what is to government to government so preachers are expected to follow the law not break it because there is a right way to do a good thing says the Bible.

The fact that those who claim to have brought Christianity to Africa are now cracking down on street preachers speaks volumes about the type of Christianity they promoted. It's a stark reminder that the message of love and redemption can be distorted and used as a tool of control.

My wife's grand father from Anambra was a very strong man. There was a time he sick and pass on, but later regained consciousness through the prayer of my mother inlaw (a very dedicated woman). The old man started screaming that he never knew that Satan had been deceiving him all these years.
He later denounced his shrine and accepted Jesus as his savour and later died years after.

Sharing my personal experience of personal suffering for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus, is now commending myself and not being humble, while apostle Paul doing the same is humble and applaudable.

Stop the hypocrisy please.
