Wike Predicts APC Victory in FCT Ahead of 2027

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has made a bold political prediction ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, declaring that no party will win the Federal Capital Territory except the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Wike said he came to the FCT to prove that governance is not difficult when leaders are committed to working. He also referenced his record as Governor of Rivers State, challenging Nigerians to assess his performance.

His statement has sparked political discussion over the APC’s chances in the FCT and the wider 2027 presidential race.

It will be on record, Peter Obi is the first and perhaps the only politician that may keep that record. FCT electorate know who got the country @heart from antecedent. Hence don't always vote incumbents that failed to deliver.

It’s about the money anyway. As APC governor, the APC money from FG comes to you, so you won't hustle for campaign funds from your own state resources. Also, many of these governors have failed and being in APC makes them be in control of the money so nobody can use it to campaign against them.

Obi did not just win Abuja, he won Aso rock polling unit. So anyone currently occupying the place should know that he is only holding the place for Obi, the winner of Aso rock, the sit of Power.

And this man is a PDP member. What a big shame what politicians have caused to this country. Others left PDP to test their strengths. Wike stayed behind to nail the coffin, shamelessly wearing PDP and APC clothes together in the day and in the night.

Wike has no option than to back Tinubu is what it sounds like. His survival and relevance in the political environment is dependent on his kutural relationship with Mr Tinubu. Atiku was Tinubu's opponent in 2023, Wike also became Atiku's opponent. Tinubu found that my enemy's enemy could be my friend, this is why he can't let him go. He is very useful for his type of politics. Buying houses for judges and trying to wet ground 🤡

For Bola to stake his head in Rivers and declare a state of emergency but he never did in Plateau, Niger and everywhere else there has been mass killing is proof that politics is his favorite subject, not governance. Wike is proof that Bola is not a true democrat and the power he has today is for his selfish reasons. This further confirms that Tinubu did not win Rivers state so he has to use force in the state.

1. Voter apathy

2. Divided opposition

3. Force/threat (he has been using this in Lagos for long but with federal resources, he now has governors like Okpebolo, Wike, SP Akpabio who's always assuring that he will win and others to threaten people to vote him or else)

4. Money (what's your price? This is why he and Atiku are two sides of a coin. In a poor corrupt country with little morals, many are willing to sell their convictions for the highest bidder)

5. Propaganda (gaslighting, see how they celebrate the uncompleted coastal road, they will accept no responsibility but blame everyone else using religion, tribe and other distraction from the main issue). The way they counted fake millions of vote is gaslight in. Gaslighting is the manipulation by psychological means of a person (or group) which causes them to doubt themselves, their capabilities or their sense of reality.

Can you now see the big picture on why Bola holds on to Wike? Lagos, Kano and Rivers are important states. The NNPP governor that went to APC and they thought they had it in the bag, the Lagos government they have been holding for years and now Rivers will still not give them the rigging they desire.
