Datti Baba-Ahmed has clarified his recent Channels TV interview, saying his remarks were taken out of context.

According to him, he had initially told Seun Okinbaloye of Channels TV what he wanted the interview to focus on, but Seun kept asking questions that he felt were distracting from his main point.

Datti said Seun later asked him what advice he would give to President Tinubu, to which he responded that Tinubu should prepare to hand over power for the sake of fairness, so as not to unduly advantage Atiku Abubakar.

He explained that while he was rushing, Seun added “including Peter Obi” to the question, and he responded “yes.”

Datti said this was the context behind the remark that was reported as: “Peter Obi can’t improve Nigeria.”

This is what happens when you won't stop talking like a parrot; gossiping like a woman all over the place.

Datti is not vying for any elective positions that we know of, neither is he the spokesperson or frontline représentative of any party or influential candidate at present.

But he just won't stop disturbing everybody with things that happened in 2023 or positing opinions and figures we have no business listening to.

Man should just siddon one place and let the present contenders breathe.

We have enough aspirants and spokespersons to listen to.

See it's better to use simple grammar when trying to communicate or people will misconstrue what you intend. I knew he never meant any harm to Peter Obi but he didn't communicate well, hence people misunderstood him.
