This is very Unfortunate. Imagine some Mephistophelians telling us we should endure, that Tinubu reforms will do us good in the long run. When? Reforms that cannot yield results when the reformer is still available on the ground, is it when he leaves and another person takes over, before we will see results?

Does it mean we can not simply sell our crude to Dangote refineries at a steady price to avoid all this up and down movement?

Or is this rocket science that I don't understand?
If you know the corruption going on in that sector, you won't ask this question.

The presence of Dangote refinery is a huge problem to those cabals in the oil sector in Nigeria... As a matter of fact, they want dangote out.

This was the arrangement. We saw the price of petrol being constantly reduced as the refinery increased production. But when Israel and the US attacked Iran ... the price of crude began to rise on the world market. Instead of first supplying Dangote with his needs ... the FG began to divert oil to the international market... short changing Dangote. Dangote then had no choice but to begin importing crude. Do we now expect him to buy expensive crude and not raise his petrol price? That's what is happening and it will be worse since Trump is not accepting defeat and walking away from the Mid East . The war is widening ... crude is being cut off and the world will see more increases in the price of petrol. It is a matter of supply and demand

You mean you would sell your wares at government controlled prices even if you can get times 4 in the international market?
There were about seven responses to my comment. Only yours seemed out of point. If Dangote buys crude from Nigeria at a good price won't that determine the price he sells refined fuel? You lot are no different from those corrupt dudes dealing with us. I guess we deserve everything we get.

Even a dog will win him in a free and fair election.

If you're asking whether people who had Jlno work yesterday but but that now have jobs created by the productivity of the refinery or the new logistical and byproducts opportunities that it creates in addition to saving us the demand for forex, increasing forex inflows, and yet you prefer to dismiss it, you are not speaking from a place of sincerity but cynicism.
How many people are employed by Dangote compared to how many people will be paying terribly high price for energy....that is transport and power in the coming days and weeks.

Can Dangote industries compensate economically for the potential job losses and revenue losses to government.

You still.maintain tunnel vision.
The problem is not Dangote,.the problem is with the manager of the economy who should anticipate all these and if they dis not have plans pre subsidy removal, should be doing so now.

What is the war escalates and oil hits 110,.120,.130...you think it will not affect everyone including Dangote and the government itself, you think it will not affect security and infrastructure and everything on government's plate...

A good price means a price not determined or affected by the chaos at the strait of Hormuz..... Does that satisfy you?

You're talking rubbish.

Oil is an international commodity and Nigeria has long-term obligations with the oil companies on how money is invested, shared and product offloaded.

You don't wake up one day and say "mo more". That's what Iran is suffering for today.

Hope thar satisfies you?

You are the one talking rubbish coming across as arrogant and condescending. You clearly know nothing about how these things work. The Nigerian government holds all the aces as far as crude oil is concerned. I'm done responding to your rubbish.....

#1 . The crude is not enough to give dangote because of corrupt animals and #2 dangote is greedy and wicked, he want to monopolise oilandgas as he did in cement. Listen if not for Bua, cement would have been 30k or 40k now iswear
After using tribe and religion to vote in bad government. It is now if not for BUA. Cement will be 30k, 40k, when you you will stop deceiving yourself?
