Here is a simple question bothering me. I borrowed a particular money from my brother and I am bothered wether to pay tithe or not. It's a loan not a gift.

Did you earned income from the borrowed money have you offset the loan ...When you offset the loan and break even then you can start paying tithe, except of course you are setting aside a specific amount for your salary and you are very sure you can offset the loan.... I don't have any biblical verse to put out to defend my advice. But the only thing I know about God is that you should love yourself and everyone you come in contact with, because the word neighbour is limited in jurisdiction. The Bible specifically said the first fruit of your labour, not the borrowed fruit.
