Keith Andrews just raised our hopes only to not give Frederick his Senior bow today. Reading made it a contest so Keith did not wanna risk Frederick. Lol Well, at least, a first matchday squad appearance. The knee is not a joint you rush into senior match action. Benjy's time is coming. TheSuperNerd: |

TheSuperNerd:TSN, chairman sir. This is about the U23s, would you know if there would be a tournament playoff for the Olympic qualifiers? I believe the last time after Osimhen, Chuks and co saved the team, they had to go for a tournament where we couldn't get our heavy hitters released by their clubs and ended up fielding available players and then we didn't qualify. If the qualifying format is still the same, how do we navigate it differently? Thank you for your attention to this matter. |

The U23 Afcon proper which is the LA 2028 CAF qualifiers determinant will be held in Egypt but the dates have not been fixed yet so we dont know what window it would fall under for now. So far, the Qualifying rounds of the U23 Afcon fall within the FIFA official windows so we should have nearly the best of our U23s executing the qualifiers from round 2 in November, 2026. I think Benin will also benefit from this match being Messi's final match, a scenario that was not known when the match was being signed. I expect them to make some money on the TV rights. If he had made his retirement known way earlier, they would have been priced out of the match by one of those Arab countries. *just read it again, they are not getting anything from the match. TheSuperNerd:Thanks boss. That said, if and when we qualify for the play offs, I think there should just be a contingency plan in case the playoffs are scheduled outside a FIFA window. Just like a plan B in case if you know what I mean. |

By plan B, you clearly mean the homebased. Chelle knows this, but we still plan to have some foreign pros available when we make the U23 Afcon proper. AndSunGorilla: |
