You care about Trumps age but not Biden age who you voted and was older than Trump. That is the hypocrisy and cognitive disonance

How old is Markey you voted for vs his opponent
Lying again.
You don't seem tp understand what "oldest elected President" means.
Words seem to be your enemy.

You and Republicans made a whole campaign out of Biden's age. While at the same time going to vote for the oldest person to be President.
That is cognitive disonance.

In 2020 you voted for the oldest president

In June 2024 you supported the oldest person running for office

When talking about politician and age related sickness, you should take a back seat

Show me any criticism I have had for anyone being old.
You don't seem to understand the difference between old vs. incapacitated and thus not being able to perform your job you were elected to.
But you most likely do, but your dishonesty makes you act that way.

You spent/spend hours of your life criticizing Biden for being old. Making fun of the way he looked, that he fell down. etc. etc.
But then you voted for the oldest man to be President.
Now you are comfortable that people lied about a clearly incapacitated McConnell not being incapacitated and he didn't step down when he was unable to do his job for 7 months.
And comfortable supporting a President who is clearly sundowning.
That is hypocrisy.

Not dishonest conversation is something you seem to have a problem with,

Liberals who don't get their way want to shut down those who hold a contrary opinion.
It's time to FAFO for some .

[i]#BREAKING The lone holdout juror who deadlocked Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial now has an attorney, signaling that the people who doxxed him, or defamed him, may now be facing lawsuits.

Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik:

"I can now confirm that I am representing the courageous and heroic lone holdout juror from the Lindsay Clancy Trial. He is an American Hero and Champion of Justice."

"Rest assured that the evil people who have so viciously attacked this American Hero and Champion of Justice will be held accountable to the maximum extent of the law and beyond. "

"In the meantime, though, he has persevered and remains utterly unbroken thanks to his devout Catholic Faith. As a devoted father and man of God, he will not be defeated or shattered by the wicked who wish harm upon him."

People who could be facing legal action:

🔻Clancy defense attorney Kevin Reddington who gender doxxed him and accused him of being a bigot

🔻Juror Paula Devlin who got on national television and revealed he was a Black man in his mid 30s

🔻Local NBC's Sue O'Connell who published personal details about him including his court cases, eviction judgement etc, making him identifiable

🔻Aidan Kearney (turtleboy) who published his name, picture and personal information online and

🔻Other Jurors who made accusations against him like, he refused to follow the law and he was arrogant.

Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik just made the announcement. Paltzik described his client as a courageous champion of justice, said the man is in a safe location in rural northern New England, and said his immediate focus is the juror’s health, safety, and well-being.

Paltzik already represents three friends of Nolan Wells - Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour - in defamation actions over false claims that they had something to do with Wells' d*th.

Fast Facts:

🔻Foreperson Roni Carlson accused him of not following the law and wanted to get him kicked off the jury.

She also claimed he admitted he had reasonable doubt - something he reportedly said is not true.

🔻Paula Devlin called him “very arrogant” and said he “completely disregarded” explanations from nurses on the jury about toxicology results.

She also identified him as a Black man in his 30s and the only person of color on a panel of nine women and three men.

🔻Nick Dargie said he found it “disgusting” when the holdout used an exercise band and a water bottle to demonstrate the strangulations.

🔻Defense lawyer Kevin Reddington called the holdout a man who “stole seven weeks of the life of these other jurors” and said “they were robbed by one man.”

🔻Reddington accused him of discriminating against Clancy because she was in a wheelchair and also revealed his gender in court

🔻 Local NBC10 Boston’s Ryan Kath reported personal details and court records of the juror - then people then matched docket details to find his identity.

🔻On Sept. 12 Kearney, Turtleboy, posted his name and photograph.

Kearney is separately facing witness-intimidation / jury intimidation and related charges tied to the Karen Read case.

Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by basilico: 9:42am On Sep 18
For thirty years before he ran for office, Donald Trump quietly paid mortgages, flew sick children across the country, and wrote checks to strangers who needed help. You will not find those stories on the evening news. So here they are.

Start with what people who knew him before politics say. He has never had a drink. He has never smoked. He has never used drugs. He built his business on long hours, and the people who worked for him will tell you he outworked all of them. Nobody called him a bigot until the day he announced for president. That timing tells you something about the accusation.
Now to the record.

In 1986, a Georgia widow named Annabell Hill was about to lose the family farm at a foreclosure auction. Trump saw her story on the news, picked up the phone, called the auction, and stopped the sale. Then he sent her the money to keep the farm.

In 1988, an Orthodox Jewish family in Los Angeles had a three-year-old son named Andrew Ten who needed treatment in New York. The boy could not survive without a full life-support setup, and no airline would carry it. His father asked Trump for help. Trump put the family on his own jet and got them there.

In 1991, two hundred Marines came home from Desert Storm to Camp Lejeune and found out the military had no aircraft to fly them the rest of the way to Florida. Trump's airline, the Trump Shuttle, made two runs between North Carolina and Miami and got every one of them back to their families.

In 1995, a passing driver in New Jersey pulled over to help change a flat on Trump's limo. Trump asked what he could do in return. The man only wanted flowers sent to his wife. A few weeks later, the story goes, the flowers came with a note saying the couple's mortgage had been paid off. People have been repeating that one for three decades.

In 1996, Trump sued the town of Palm Beach, Florida. The town had been leaning on his Mar-a-Lago club for one reason. He let in Jewish members and Black members, and the older clubs did not. Abraham Foxman, who ran the Anti-Defamation League at the time, said Trump shined a light on the ugly side of Palm Beach that the glitter usually hid. Foxman also said other clubs started admitting Jews and Blacks after Trump forced the issue.

In 2000, Trump was watching Maury Povich and saw a little girl named Megan who lived with brittle bone disease. He said her attitude got to him. He called the show and sent her family a large check.

In 2008, Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew were murdered in Chicago. Trump moved Hudson and her family into his Chicago hotel at no charge and had his security team watch over them while they grieved.

In 2013, a Buffalo bus driver named Darnell Barton saw a woman standing at the edge of a bridge. He stopped the bus, walked over, put an arm around her, and talked her back to safety. Trump read about it and mailed Barton a check, because he thought a man like that deserved a reward.

In 2014, Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi spent seven months in a Mexican prison after he took a wrong turn at the border with legally owned guns in his truck. President Obama never placed the call to Mexico that the sergeant's family begged for. Trump sent Tahmooressi a check for $25,000 to help him rebuild his life once he got home.

In 2016, Melissa Young stood at a Trump rally in Wisconsin and cried while she thanked him. She had competed as Miss Wisconsin USA in 2005, then got sick with an illness that has no cure. During her worst stretch, a handwritten note arrived from Trump calling her the bravest woman he knew. She said the doors Trump opened for her ended up giving her Mexican-American son a full ride to college.

That same year, Lynne Patton, a Black executive at the Trump Organization, put out a video answering the people calling her boss a racist. She admitted she had fought addiction for years. She said the Trump family never pushed her out. They stood by her the whole way.

Also in 2016, a young Illinois volunteer named Shane Bouvet told reporters that Trump had stepped in to cover his father's cancer treatment. His father, Donald Bouvet, beat the cancer. Trump has stayed in touch with the family ever since.

And there is a story that has floated around New York business circles for years. A Black business owner could not get a loan anywhere in the city. Someone told him to go see Trump. Trump lent him the money and told him to pay it back when he could. The man came back later with a check and said the business was doing well. Trump tore the check up.

Read that list again and notice who is on it.

A farm widow.

A Jewish family.

Marines.

A bus driver.

A jailed serviceman.

A sick beauty queen and her Mexican-American son. A grieving Black singer.

A struggling Black executive.

When Trump saw someone in trouble, he helped, and he did not check their race or their religion first.

Nearly forty years ago, Oprah asked him on air if he would ever run for president. He told her he would not rule it out if things in this country ever got bad enough. He looked at America in 2015 and decided that day had come. The man who spent decades helping people one at a time decided to help the whole country.

Ask yourself when you last heard of Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama doing any of this with their own money. Then ask yourself why the media, Hollywood, and the progressive left have spent ten years trying to destroy a man with this record. He loves this country. The record shows it. Share this so your friends see what the news will not show them.

Recently stepped down Chief Judge Patrick Shiltz of Minneapolis federal bench confirms to NYT how they coordinated behind the scenes to thwart ICE attempts to deport illegal aliens.
...."judges remained on their cell phones nonstop to halt deportation proceedings"
They had templates of judgements to deliver before the case was heard.

“Some judges built templates of legal orders so they could respond quickly to some of the detention issues that were arising again and again"

Most of these judgements were later thrown out by appeals courts.

https://hotair.com/david-strom/2026/09/17/can-we-start-impeaching-judges-now-n3819097

Their purpose was to impede ICE . They looked for whatever loophole to apply in the cases before them in order to dismiss..
One reason they used. ICE claimed to be deporting the worst of the worst which wasn't always the case
The judges abrogated themselves the power to decide who could be deported instead of following the constitutional laws of the land.

This can only happen in a banana republic.

Deepsight the lawyer.

https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/lindsay-clancy-jurors-speak-about-deliberations-hold-out-juror/4011580/
Listening to the juror, I now do think the guy was predisposed in not finding her 'not guilty by reason of insnaity'.
I don't believe he gave serious consideration to the jury instructions.

This is from a juror in the room.
“He had reasonable doubt. He admitted he had reasonable doubt and I started filling out the forms, I was so excited," she said. "There were three forms I had to fill out, and I started filling them out. I wrote my signature on each one. And then he said, 'But I'm still not going to say that she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.'”

Why do you believe what they are saying? These women said they are not looking for justice for the victims, the children who were killed. They are looking for justice for the killer so she can get the help she needs.

In another video, the jurors said they saw that as an opportunity to bring change for women. They don't care about the law or the judge's instructions; they were performing activism.

Don't take what they day about the holdout juror to know what really happen and who followed the law and instructions by the judge, listen to what they say about how they feel about the whole case.

I don't expect you to take the common-sense side here.

Who do you think you are telling me what to think about this?

Do you even understand the American jury system? No
Have you ever served on a Jury to have even an understanding of what their role is? No.
And are you smart enough to go and research it before opening your mouth? No

You have a propensity to run your mouth on topics you don't even have a glancing understanding of.
And then to try to pretend you do, you just lie, like living in the US.

I clearly addressed it to Buda.
In fact there are others I'd welcome their thoghts.
You, no.
I have 0 cares about your opinion on this.

You certainly don't understand it.

The jurors openly said they are looking for justice for the killer not the children; they went on to blame the system that did not give her the help she needed, making her the victim.

The prosecution proved she knew what she was doing before killing the children; she planned it and sent her husband away.

By that logic, unless you have personally committed murder, you shouldn’t have an opinion about the actions of a murderer either. You have come up with your cow-level reasoning again.

What do you explain? That the jurors are activists? No, you did not.

Their own words showed they did not follow the law, but you want to blame the black guy.

The fact he had reasonable doubt means he couldn't convict, as in, agree she intentionally committed murder or was insane.

I use convict in the sense his own opinion does not decide the case. Basically, in relation to the other jurors, he sat on the fence, which is his right as a juror.

And listening to these jurors, I now do think they might have been predisposed to find her 'not guilty by reason of insanity', but my thinking it does not in any way make it so unless I want to ignore my own bias and claim what I think in my head is the reality out there, which I refuse to do in this case.

Yes/no. That he had reasonable doubt meant that the Prosecution didn't prove their case.
The burden is on the Prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she wasn't insane.
Which means that he should have voted that she was not guilty by reason of insanity.
So, that he had reasonable doubt at all is the problem for me and makes it clear he didn't do what he is supposed to do.

It wasn't his job to offer up theories. It was his job to take the theory the prosecution presented and figure out whether he was convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that she wasn't insane when she took her children's life.

It doesn't seem like he listened to the judge. So he didn't go there and do what jurors are supposed to do.

Listening to the jurors, they all seemed like they went in there, took their duty seriously and did their jobs reasonably well.
Remember the burden was on the prosecution.

Budaatum, how does the law in Mass in terms of the insanity defense vary from the UK?
In the interview they suggested that in the UK, she would have gotten off without a trial. (Maybe I'm inferring wrong as well)

You and I are acting as jurors on the decision of the jury on this case, and there is no reason whatsoever for us to agree. But it would be very stupid of me to claim you should have voted as I do, or that you are not considering the evidence if you do not agree with me.

The prosecution did not prove its case beyond the reasonable doubt of 11 jurors, and the defence failed to convince one juror. Still, the jury has done its duty and I am very satisfied with their collective decision.

The prosecution can after all retry the case, though I can see more than one juror holding out if they do, and just for the sake of it.

No she wouldn't have gotten off without a trial in UK unless she pled guilty to the prosecutors charge, as the facts of the case would still need to have been considered at trial by a jury of her peers.

The last in the 3 below is the closest I found.

For a child under the age of twelve months, the Infanticide Act 1938 applies.

Do know that juries of one's peers may decide similar cases differently.

Canada would shake their head at Greenland's diminished sovereignty.

He said the deal includes a rule that no US adversary can maintain a military presence in Greenland or "make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval".

The art of a deal

Trump did it again

Recently stepped down Chief Judge Patrick Shiltz of Minneapolis federal bench confirms to NYT how they coordinated behind the scenes to thwart ICE attempts to deport illegal aliens.
...."judges remained on their cell phones nonstop to halt deportation proceedings"
They had templates of judgements to deliver before the case was heard.

“Some judges built templates of legal orders so they could respond quickly to some of the detention issues that were arising again and again"

Most of these judgements were later thrown out by appeals courts.

Sharrap guy man or send me your number by email. I need to explain it.

Trump is banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House over coverage he calls “fake news”—and says other outlets could follow.

That puts America in uncomfortable company. North Korea, Eritrea and Turkmenistan tightly control the press. Putin’s Russia has criminalized independent war reporting. Ortega’s Nicaragua has driven much of its independent press into exile. A free press is not the enemy. It’s a check on power.

Will have to see the deal.
May not be too different than the current military agreement between the two.
Was surprising to me when I learned that the US already had broad military control/ability in Greenland.
Made Trump's beef with Greenland even more silly.

What did he do?
And what was the gain vs. the cost?
The US already had a broad military agreement with Greenland (1951 Defense of Greenland Agreement) in which they could have done most if not all of the things they wanted.
I'm sure this adds some to it, but the US probably could have gotten the same without making us hated around the world.

Hated by who? Denmark or Greenland the 2 concerned parties who just signed a deal with the US? Or who

Cost? What did it cost the US
