For years, we regarded the British as brutal colonizers who killed and enslaved our people but looking at our current realities, they were actually saints. The activities of the Chinese in the middle belt of Nigeria and Arabs in the middle east have shown that the British were not as evil as they were labeled to be over the years. They discovered oil in Niger Delta and they built refineries, developed some part of the region and still allowed the people in those communities to thrive. Although there are evidences of pollution and environmental degradation, this cannot be compared to the activities of daredevil illegal miners and their Chinese customers who allegedly deploy bandits to sack communities where rare-earth minerals are discovered in the middle belt. If the British were as brutal as these guys, nobody will be living in the Niger Delta today. They will just use bioweapons to wipe out the entire race and occupy their land and have the oil all to themselves

Pan Aricanists will soon come for you. We are always wailing that the Westerners came to steal our resources. Like we'll even know refining technology or even what the crude oil is in a thousand years if not for the British.
