The Blueelf expressed his opinions about Akinsanmiro, u cone say na lie, no be so. Am not saying I agree with his opinion. I believe Ebenezer has good qualities cos if he didn't, he would be in Cyprus now. I haven't watched his full games though to be able to give a fair assessment but definitely he has something to offer.

@emboldened... This is a subtle dig at Kelechi Nwakali but it is very well done.... smartly done. I commend the sarcastic manner in which you hid the true direction of your "stray" bullet.

I
TheSuperNerd:
“The three in the middle did a dirty job, running hard and showing quality. I didn’t say anything to them in the locker room; all we need is a win.
“The team made the fans proud after a performance like that. Caracciolo, Touré, and Akinsanmiro—who was a driving force— were superb in every way. Along with the one against Bergamo, it was one of our best games.” - Alberto Gilardino, Coach of Pisa during first half of 2025/26 Serie A season.

"I came because the new Monza has very clear ideas: focus on several potentially strong players who we can work hard on, Akinsanmiro is one of them, but in some roles, more experience is clearly needed." - Ivan Juric, Monza Coach prior to the Inter Game earlier in the season.

Did you also watch the lad yesterday vs Sassuolo in Serie A? Ofcourse you did not. Infact, I am sure it has been over a year since you watched a full game of Akin.

And wait, so now Nwakali has good qualities huh? But the saying back then was how useless and ineffective he was and how good passing was not a quality to emphasize. Una no dey tire for this thread. Goal post shifters.
I never hid my disgust of Nwakali's lack of ambition from day 1. That was his major undoing. He had talent and it was people like you that was clamouring for his call-up

I stand by what I said. If Ebenezer is as good as you think he is, chelle would've invited him. I'm not saying he can't be better (he's still young) but for now let him focus on improving his game and hopefully a national callu p and a better club would come

Akinsamiro is overrated

Friendly match tem - No anlkinsanmiro

Qualifier team - still no Akinsanmiro

But but..he is a very good midfielder

Because una sabi the players pass the scouts and chelle abi....

Make una continue to dey play favouritism

The actual truth is that if some of you self-touted football experts on this thread is given an opportunity to run NFF, you'll populate the team with your faves inspite or despite their performances. Same thing you accuse former indigenous coaches of

Let's be honest with ourselves please.....

Akinsanmiro was an injury doubt for yesterday's game. He was thrown in from the start by Juric despite barely passing a late fitness test. Juric needed his best on the field but also did not want to risk him for the whole 90 so Akin played 56mins with his club already up 1-0.

Chelle and his team obviously did not get the full update on Akin's injury status. Should be doing better.

As for what you think on Nwakali, you are free. At least he is not a free agent like Aribo.

I'm not a fan of aribo either

He was an overrated midfielder too

We have not had a reliable central midfielder in a while. Only iw0bi is close to reliable but not totally reliable

Onyeka is just all brawn and little brain

I forsee a repeat of last AFCON is fresh CMs aren't included into the team

If this NFF is serious

They should do all they can to get Yah, Ozoh into the team

This current crop of midfielders won't cut it in the next AFCON if we are gunning for a title

You all saw how Morocco performed in the last world cup abi. How their midfield overran Netherlands and the likes

Okay na.

Na here we dey

You are many months late. It has been stated here already that Yah, Ozoh and a couple more are in the works. I know this because one of Chelle's scouts filled me in.

Again, you are not saying anything new or informed.

Walahi talahi na stray bullet, tbh Nwakali is truly gifted but for whatever reasons he has just not yet stepped up to his potentials, dis life. Not the first time this has happened, the likes of Osondu, Dotun Alatishe of 3SC back in the days, Duke Udi and that fine midfielder in Iheanacho's U17 (forgotten his name), Isaac Success etc. But on a serious note, it's not yet over for Nwakali, while chances are slim, he could actually still make something good out of his career. To reiterate, he's truly gifted but life has just happened to him.

Mamelodi sundowns is currently dominating top European experienced Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup

Give a Nigeria club this opportunity they won't be able to control a pass

Mamelodi sundowns is at home in South Africa
When will Nigeria league ever be this advanced
Look at the pitch and the stadium

I am still of the opinion the only thing that would've helped Nigeria in terms of infrastructure especially in sport is late independence

Maybe we got independence in the late 90s or early 2000s
