Once my God-given assignment in this world is completed, that's the way I dream, hope and pray to transit unto glory.

I don't want to be left out of the huge privilege and honor enjoyed by the prophets and apostles who were martyred for their unshakable faith in Christ.

After recently sharing my reaction to a man forcefully coming out of a gate with a cutlass while I was preaching the Gospel, many seemed concerned, and some thought it was foolishness and started speaking of wisdom being profitable to direct.

What they don't seem to understand however, is what is foolishness to man could be wisdom to God and vice versa.

It's really sad and disheartening to see what the church has turned into, that many Christians, including church leaders, now think it's foolishness to suffer persecution and even death for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus.

They now feel they're too big, blessed or anointed to suffer shame, persecution or even die for Christ's name or Gospel sake, when the example and teachings of Christ taught us the exact opposite.

Thank God I'm not of that school of thought but belong to the class of the old-time prophets and early Christians and apostles, who saw it as a thing of pride and honor to be counted worthy to suffer shame, persecution and even death for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus.

Therefore this is not about being wise with the wisdom of this world, but in the sight of God, by saying His Will be done even if it meant suffering death where need be, for the sake of the advancement of His kingdom in this world just as Jesus and the apostles did.

That's the mindset I have whenever I'm preaching the Gospel anywhere or on the street, which could explain why I wasn't moved when I was arrested, handcuffed and beaten up by Nigerian policemen, or had stones thrown at me, or saw the man come out of the gate with cutlass while preaching the Gospel on the street.

I count it as a part and parcel of what comes with following Jesus and being His true disciple just as Jesus Himself taught us.

Hence why l'm prepared to suffer shame, persecution or if need be, die for the sake of the Gospel of Christ.

So what part of you will transit into glory?

People get killed for many reasons.

Some get killed while defending their family and loved ones, including fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, children, friends etc., but many people don't have issues with that because they believe it's worth losing one's life for such persons, but then when it comes to the things of God that gave us life they begin to think it's not worth dying for?

How about those who know very well of the deadly consequences of committing some sinful and criminal acts like stealing, cheating, fornication, adultery, vandalism, yet they proceed with it because of the temporal gains, how much more for something whose benefits aren't just temporal as those of this world but of eternal value in heaven?

Many even get killed while doing their earthly jobs, electricians get electrocuted, commercial drivers die by road accidents, fire fighters die while fighting fire, sailors die in ship wrecks, pilots die in aircrash, miners die in mining sites, all while on the job, therefore why should it be a big deal to die for sake of the Gospel of Christ, which is by far the biggest, greatest and most important job on earth?

If there be anything really worth dying for in this world, it is the for Christ and the spread of His Gospel to the whole world.

It is not the will of Jesus for you to die but to live to proclaim his gospel in the land of the living so any of you who does not have a sword should sell his shirt to buy one.


The way you live your life is more of a testimony to the gospel of Jesus than preaching to convince people to follow Jesus.

Those who give and surrender all to Christ are the one truly leaving , no fear of any sort again that's is true freedom Christ give, those who haven't live daily worrying Abt dealth , sickness and other things they don't have control over yet their mind is burdens daily thinking when they are careful enough (world wisdom they may live long unfortunately even with all their earthly wisdom they perpetually dwell in fear of the unknown. Is only he that is set free by Christ that is truly free indeed and truly living. He who live in Christ will enjoy life to the abundance even hear on earth with peace no as the world giveth but the peace of God. Christ said come to me those who are heavily laden and I will give you rest . He who find Christ has found life
