Please , becareful of any form of transaction or dm you may receive from any person on this thread.

They tell you about a group or platform for the NZ travel , however it is not free. It is a paid one.

Be watchful!
If the link for such thread is not publicly posted here or no public declaration about such secret group, do not pay.

I sense scammers trying to capitalise on people's desperation here.

I may say more but this is my 1cent of advice for now.

Thanks

If you are planning to go for the February 2027 intake - send in your applications in September 2026, so that by December 2026, you either have a Christmas good news in your inbox or you don't.

Hello everyone,
I got admission to Auckland University of Technology MSc program for February 2027. I am planing to apply for study permit but I don’t really have much information about it. Will anyone be willing to explain the process to me?. Is it compulsory for me to go pay the first year tuition before I can apply for the study permit?.

Thank you
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by CalabarSamurai(m): 11:51am On Aug 19
Pay that full tuition fee or do an AIP which means you have all the monies required but you want to get the visa before paying, you will of course pay the full tuition fee within a stipulated time before being given the visa.

No part-payment in NZ.

Hello,
Please is it okay to show POF of 3 months? Or is 6 months the best for visa approval?
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by CalabarSamurai(m): 3:07pm On Aug 19
One Year backwards from the day you are submitting.

I am assuming you are a Nigerian.

You want to deal with potential RFI questions before you get one.

If you got it from property sales, let it grill for six months.

Can someone explain the cgpa requirements? I have bachelor's from Nigeria and two MSc from the UK. I want to apply for a PhD, possibly with scholarship

Please how's AIP done?

I thought it automatically applies to anyone who didn't pay full tuition before application.
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by CalabarSamurai(m): 6:16pm On Aug 23
It does not apply automatically. You have to select that option.

Full or 1st year please?

I'm worried about pursuing refund if things don't work out
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by creolehunt: 12:26pm On Sep 01
Thread so dry.

Is it that people aren't applying or visas are being denied.

Do. Not. Do. This.

Apply from Nigeria or wherever you reside as a resident.

A visitor visa is for visits, also you don't know the duration of the Visit Visa, what now happens when it expires and the school which is the first step has not even gotten back to you concerning your application...

Do. Not. Do. This.

Please is there any WhatsApp group or telegram group for New Zealand students visa?

If you have please drop the link
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by CalabarSamurai(m): 10:55am On Sep 10
There used to be one, but I don't know what happened to it, hopefully nothing bad. But this page wont grow if everyone ports solely to a whatsapp or telegram group, we can do both.

Can we interested individuals come together and create one?

Think it will be a great idea . We can rub minds and we never can tell, we may hit it

It’s always good if information is public. It will persist for generations.

I just started sending cold emails to supervisors though i learnt certain unis in NZ dont require you to secure supervisor's consent before submitting your app for PHD. guys in NZ what tips can you give someone applying for PHD?
Re: General New Zealand Student Enquires by Nobody: 11:53pm On Sep 21
Even if some New Zealand universities let you apply through the portal without prior contact, securing an informal yes from a supervisor drastically improves your chances of admission and funding
