On what’s basis do you say he is full mentally? That he said an Igbo man be given a chance? Well, I believe that everyone who is mentally sound agrees with him. quote author=Legitiscool post=140734454]This guy is quite dull mentally, thinks like a toddler By 2027 we will be hearing new insults and names to give tinubu Whoever thought kanu will be jailed and everyone will be ok, this obi noise will finally RE-rest in 2027[/quote] |

tunapawizzy:If this discussion was made in 2022, it would be understood Obi has since passed a regional player. He has spread not only in the south east but in the south south, south west and north Central at least going by 2023 elections What spread again would one ask for Why should he deputize for atiku and not the reverse. Why would atiku constantly contest when the south has not finished its 8 years What makes atiku better than obi in term of indicators Obi has built bridges across the nation. His alliance with kwankwanso is a testament to that 2031 is the turn of the north, atiku should have waited to contest then. He contested in 2023 because he said he was protesting that the presidential slot was not given to the south east as initially planned. Now what is his reason contesting again in 2027 Despite the relentless voter suppression, obi and atiku scored 6m + votes in the last election. This is for someone who just campaigned for 8 months Obi has built bridges, he has shown that he has human sympathy and he can be trusted. Above all he listens to complains of people What guarantee do you have that atiku would govern so well that obi would be given a vote for him to continue. Despite how good osibanjo was, what became of him If tomorrow obi messes up and doesn't do what he should do, I would vehemently campaign against him No hard feelings, want you to know that the people in power are not stronger than the power of the people |

Peter Obi is not vying for Igbo Presidency. He is going to be Nigeria's president. He will be bring to bear his managerial experience and proper management talent to make Nigerians smile again.. The lootocratic druggie and his online bulanistic goons can cry on my mention. No shaking . ![]() |

Legitiscool:You are not smart else you will not be impliedly ascribing invincibility to Tinubu He was never the creator or originator of Nigeria. Infact, he will not be first incumbent to be voted out of power He can lose in 2027 and nothing will happen. |

He has every right to collect from any politician, as our Constitution permits. In fact, he has simply exercised his rights as a Nigerian citizen and human rights activist. yemmight: |

maestroferddi:I don't fancy tinubu but the 2019 you referencing is because gej himself decided to be intimidated politically And last time I checked the opposition that time was in one accord, their was a genuine strategy to win the election and the ruling party saw the anarchy of dog and baboon in blood by the region that mattered It is totally different now with a mob of spineless content creators headed by a feminine Mandela wannabe who runs from party to party without plan Not to forget a very brutal incubemt that with endless political powers that wasn't available before |

tuoyoojo:The problem is not about Obi being a regional player or not, infact i somewhat agree with you that he is not a regional. The problem is the trend of votes from SE. SE politicians in APC have no bargaining tool to get their party's ticket. You have to explain to your party men why they should field you when you have no advantage where you even come from. For example if Uzor Kalu as APC candidate will lose SE vites to Obi from another party, why should APC give their ticket to Uzor Kalu. They will find it difficult to sell him in SW and the North especially when the other parties have candidates from SW and/or the North. Now let's go back to Obi not being regional. Obi's political reach is not as widespread as others. And thats where he needs to align with politicians from other regions(the core North especially). These people do what their local political leaders tell them to do. Obi cannot reach the sentiment of the core North the way Tinubu will do through local politicians from the North. And dont get it twisted, kwankwaso na local champion for kano(i am not sure his kano potency is still alive sef), in my opinion, Kwankwaso decided to be Obis vice now because he believes Obi will support him when it becomes the turn of North again in 2031. You asked why should atiku not deputize Obi. This is what I am going to tell you, 1. Politics is a game of number and Atiku has better political reach nationally 2. You always have to trade off something to arrive at your destination in politics. A lot of times you do what is expedient in order to arrive at your destination, you may arrive later than planned but yes you will arrive there. Tinubu had his eyes on Nigerian presidency since 2007, he supported ribadu(even traded the votes), supported atiku supported buhari, then the time appeared right for him to say I have always supported you guys when it was your turn, now you owe me one. Patience Patience Patience Most importantly, I am not saying Obi is not good, infact in my opinion he is good. I am also not saying Atiku is good. All I am saying is that politics is the vehicle that will usher in governance. If you are not willing to play the Politics right, no matter how good you are, you will never taste governance- I am sorry but that's d bitter truth. We all saw how SS was able to produce president as minority. Who told you what happened to Yaradua cannot happen to almost 80 years old Atiku as president and the vice ascends the throne. |

Is not backing igbo presidency that is the issue, igbos should bring a more credible candidate, not some polished scam, whose only way of try to get to the highest office is only buy sympathy, how can u tell me u brought sanity to a state instead of development, saving money while people are starving, no good roads , running from party to party ,can't build ur home always running when there's problem then start campaign to run Nigeria that's very complex, advocating for 4 years out of respiration, honestly I really want the igbos to rule to balance and make things right, bring me Alex oti, soludo, David Umhai ,this are competent politicians that are capable |

Legitiscool:I said you were not smart and I have a predilection for choosing my words carefully. Go and read up how Macky Sall was able to oust Abdulaye Wade in Senegal less than 15 years ago despite the fact that Wade was the incumbent for 10 years and the opposition were never united until the election was headed for a run off. Infact Wade was the overwhelming favourite of France who practically decided who gets what in most Francophone countries in Africa and pointedly in that case, Wade's wife was a white Frenchwoman... |

tunapawizzy:I read ur submission and I agree that truly the south East have not been able to position themselves perfectly in the political chess board prior to Obi. Do you Remember the likes of Rochas...who did so much to win the favour of the north. Despite his bootlicking he was still given the boot ( pun intended ) You gave an example of how Tinubu has been strategic in his ambition since 2007 till he finally struck in 2023 Asides from having political reach, political is highly dependent on the prevailing sentiments during that period Using Goodluck as an example, despite him not having the political reach as a candidate deep in the north ( note the core north had almost always voted based on region of the contestants), he got quite a substantial amount of vote in the north. Why? Because of the prevailing sentiments The prevailing belief was that the niger delta ( Nigeria's cash cow) has been marginalised. During that time the issue of militant agitation was rift and many people were sympathetic to their plight. As the believed that Goodluck was treated badly by the cabal gate keeping aso rock when yaradua was sick. These among other issues helped GEJ in 2011 After GEJ first tenure, there were many corruption cases against officials in his govt and He seems to lack the charisma to tackle it despite his best abilities, people turned against him ( all thanks to the opposition that did a fantastic work) Enter buhari !!! He presented himself as a no nonsense anticorruption crusader appealing to the sentiments of Nigerians who wanted change. Despite buhari's failures , this cult followership still persisted Same scenario is about to play again this time against Tinubu Tinubu had now been tested and the discontentment against him is high whether we agree or not( areas of insecurity, tribalism, corruption and hunger among many others has been his albatross) The only difference is that Tinubu is willing to do all its takes either by hook or by hook to stay in power despite any misgivings against his leadership Obi therefore providing a viable alternative as a prudent, incorruptible and detribalised candidate) who can write the wrong of Tinubu and while not distorting the apple cart of the unwritten rotation of power between the north and the south I agree with you kwakwaso may not be a strong as he was in kano during 2023 elections but this reach in other part of the North has surged due to the discontentment of Nigerians against the present government. This would inadvertently would help kwakwaso spread unto areas of the North that obi would not have reached on his own The last election when he ran with datti ( who was a feather weather politician that lost his polling unit) cannot be compared to kwakwaso Obi paid his dues in 2019 when he ran with atiku. Now he is forging his own path towards turning Nigeria around Agreed kwakwaso is probably supporting obi because of his ambition in 2031 backing on the inheriting obi's support while jostling with atiku battle to inherit the cult followership buhari left behind |

Truth is they ought to rule but their place has been taken by a SW person who is astute in politicking and would want to finish his term. This means they have to WAIT and probably after the SS takes their turn and a Northerner, then if a SW comes up again they negotiate for them to rule before them. Probably this wait will imbibe in them a more civil attitude towards all other tribes to gain their supports for a more LIBERALLY MINDED person of their stock. No silent sympathizers to UGMs, sessionism etc. Though it seems the average one of them prefers those ones. I advocate for ONE term only henceforth, and Nigerians should agree to this so every region gets a chance to power more quickly and not feel victimized or marginalized. As it is, even the ones they said are from their tribe or pseudo aren't even from there: Nnamdi Azikiwe: Edo man/ Onitsha GEJ: Otuoke- Ijaw man with Edo roots. |

Legitiscool:That's the problem. You want charisma, you want a politician, you don't want pedigree, you don't want true governance. Well Obi actually is everything you want and don't want. I have never seen a very stubborn politician like Obi in this country. Go and check how he fought the godfathers and the power that be in Anambra. Go and see how ruthless he was with criminals in Anambra. Go and see his precise actions towards certain goals like the world Bank programmers both in health care and education. Also his environmental protection programmers too. This is not me campaigning for Obi because I believe that everyone had a right to choose his leader but my response is borne out of your unbalanced assessment. All the things I said here are the things I witnessed personally and not propaganda. |

SonOfWords:The most tribalistic people in Nigeria are the Igbos. They don't like the idea called Nigeria. The conceptual west had visioned this zoning thing long time ago. They should check their minds. Obi is too weak to lead that fight for now. Tinubu is however, too power drunk to let go of the scam throne. We should brace up for the worst. The conceptual west is on our neck! The evidence was the recent visit to France! |

Saidfx:Igbos too dey overdue Tufiaaaaa We always love to outdo ourselves. Governor Makinde is a Yoruba man, yet he is contesting against Tinubu, his fellow tribesman. No Yoruba person has ever ìñsùlted Governor Makinde for contesting against Tinubu. Some Yoruba people are not in APC, but you will hardly see a Yoruba man publicly !ñsùlting or çàjoling Tinubu. Atiku is a Hausa man, and the Governor of Adamawa State is in APC. The Governor has never, for once, publicly ìñsùlted Atiku. No Northerner has ever publicly come out to ìñsult Atiku simply because of politics. But look at Peter Obi. Almost every politician from his tribe seems to be against him. The only Governors who have never spoken ill against him, to my knowledge, are Governor Hope Uzodimma and Governor Francis Nwifuru, and I actually respect them so much for that. Soludo has made himself a þàrrot because of Obi. Umahi is embàŕŕàssing himself too, just to get favour from Tinubu, without realizing that he who sold his brother should know that the buyer will not trust him either. #zubbylegals #LearnWithUs #LegalTips |

Zidac:I hope you know yorubas never regarded obasanjo as a man after their interest, neither did they see osinbajo as the same even when better educated It was always this bias and hype about tinubu no matter how terrible he was till date. It's more of a "omoluabi" doctrine, but we can now see it for what it is, which is the tribal bias to appoint and promote only yoruba. This is the same thing happening with obi, when a tribe is insisting it is only this one that is trusted no matter how average he seems their is always an undertone. Don't forget this is the same tribe that is still actively nursing biafra dream and pretending kanu never exits, they see obi as a weakling that don't associate with the usual politician who puts igbo interest at the back Every other thing is just noise and propaganda, their are proven men like moghalu that's is supposedly not corrupt. Even the devil today can be polished and sold, in terms of infrastructure obi can't even rival kwanwanso in projects as ex gov, so why the propaganda that he was the best ex gov in governance You guys will be bringing side way metrics of waec result standing and others forgetting ex govs didn't just loot they also did projects while at it. Then you switch to he has no fraud case, tell me how many notoriously corrupt ex govs have also been jailed, it all boils down to we don't have a financial fraud unit in this country The rest are as "non corrupt" as he is with only alleged cases, the fact you claim you can tidy book records and give to your successor who is also your accomplice don't make you saint Obi is overrated |
